Fm radio over BT - HD2 General

Hello,
did anybody got the standard FM radio to play over Bluetooth audio?
I've got TomTom talking over BT on my car radio.
Now I also want to listen to FM radio but I've got to choose FM audio or BT audio..(so TOmtom or Radio) so I also want the FM radio to put audio over the BT but some how it does not work...only Tomtom.
Does anybody know why? (or how to solve this)
Thnx
Jerry

Try this

Seems it's just adding support for pushemail and of course updating the Comm Manager interface. Which is great and all...
But has anyone installed this and noticed an end to some of the bugs we had before?

Ok- so in answer to my own questions...
Chinese version now has Smart Dialling (no idea why it didn't before, but it does now...) and a nice new Windows Mobile splash screen...
Seems much snappier and more stable already, with no loss of SD card so far and no random reboots (I'll keep my eyes open for that, though...)
A few other cosmetic changes, as well, such as battery meter in the title bar instead of the task bar of the today screen.
Boots much quicker now, too...
i have been using for a few hours.
it's a really good rom compare to JAmin and Qtek (both little bit lag after reset).
I think the English Version will come out soon, keep your eyes open and wait

Am I missing something about A2DP? This is for listening MP3s or whatever to your BT headset right? Months ago, I did a reg hack that enabled me to do that. Sometime ago, I installed this tiny prog which allows me to toggle the sound between my device's speaker or the headset. What is the diff betw what I did and A2DP?

How come? what i'm really awaiting for new updated ROM
is A2DP supporting. Are there any driver, software or patch that can
make Dopod 818 Pro support A2DP in this world ???

Yeah you're right. A2DP supporting will enable us to listening stereo
via our BT headset. But, can u give me for trying of "a reg hack" that
you mentioned or send me your "tiny porg" for me to try. I really need
it very much right now.
I try to update, but now work...

Well, there is another approach in this world to make your 818 Pro be able to support the A2DP, it is to install a software called MSI Blueplayer. However, it seems that the program only support MSI bluetooth headset so it only allow my i.Tech S38 to play for 30sec of stereo MP3 audio and the program ended. You can refer to the below message thread for details :

FM on Wizard?

Is it just possible to have an FM radio on the O2 Mini S? I know many would like to have it... wonder why it wasn't included. Any solutions... thanks.
try http://www.thestreamcenter.com/pda/ , I stream fm radio through my mda all the time
Thanks but...
Thanks for the information. But I would like to listen to my local FM channels. Without streaming them... any suggestions for that?
It's not possible, as there's no FM receiver hardware in the Wizard...
OIC
Oh ok... probably have to look for and external handsfree with an FM radio... pity... got everything... but...
you could always buy something like this and use a jack adaptor on the mda http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Stereo-Earpho...37QQihZ016QQcategoryZ3274QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
You can certainly do it with BBC radio stations which include local like merseyside, manchester, leeds etc. Use Real Player.

Yeah but that info is wrong anyway rudegar it claims the Trinity doesn't have built in GPS.
yeah i know the gps was disabled in the rom for the trinity at the time they made that compare page

See... NO
Atom has FM radio.
No, it doesn´t have fm radio built in.
you can only use the streaming player to listen to radio stations.
Cheers
Jarvis
problem is that it dont have normal SDIO slots if it had
you could get plenty of SD cards which were FM radios
another option is that many headsets you can buy
comes with FM radio included
well maybe not many but you can get em
Radio possible P3600
The motherboard of the P3600 has an emplacement for a FM Radio chip, but most Trinitys do not have it. I believe somewhere in the world some company sells them with the FM Radio chip. Before buying I could have sworn that I saw it somewhere and since I have seen photos of the trinity motherboard with and without the FM Radio chip - on a French site PPC Cool - can't find the post right now.

But thats a online player and Im looking for a separate appliction that will handle Xperias internal radio.
MS Command - You have to buy it... and install it and it works thats what I did. But it wont work with your headset.
Can you listen to radio without headphones ? or are they the antenna with this phone ?

[Question]FM Radio

Does someone can ear FM Radio on the HTC HD2 (with headset connected). The frequence is always bloqued at 87.5 Mhz, no way to search a radio or to change the frequence.
If someone knows a good .apk for FM Radio, I want it
I'm using RafDroid 4.2.0 Ext (Nand v2.2.1)
Thank you...

Try Spirit FM Radio. You can find this by searching the forum or market.
Sent from my HD2 using xda premium
Thank you, but same problem with this software : BroadCom chip found, but no FM feature started
Perhaps the wrong hardware driver
you gotta use htc oem headphones for it to work. i ordered a pair and the radio started working. 4.99 on ebay
I found myself the solution , the only way for me to have FM Radio : switch on BlueTooth before starting the FM Radio program... It's on the same Chip !
Have a nice day

I'm surprised about that. Other 4 contact jack headphones won't work ?

I believe this is a Broadcom based device, so my "UART Mode" should work if Bluetooth is off, and if my app has access to SU/root. But the app needs the Bluetooth UART device to be one of the following (unless you configure a custom setting):
"/dev/s3c2410_serial0",
"/dev/ttyHS0",
"/dev/ttyHS1",
Thanks !
