Hello Everyone, looking for a way to backup my Internetquicklinks and their Thumnails for rebuild after ROM-update (made my Own Favorite Icons, don´t want to reorganize thema again, on by one...)
The favorites itself
...no problem, just export those keys in HKLM\\Software\HTC\Manila\InternetPush\Enabled\... (001,002,003,004,...)
those are the links and their positions on the internet tab...
Icons are...
in Windows\thumbnail\
But how are they linked?
Didn´t find a registry key for it! (Would be nice, not only to backup them, also to change their names from {xyz1234-anything} to {link-forExample...}
Does anybody have a hint for me???

Sorry guy for my post....i'm a new member, and maybe somewhere ther is the solution to my problem but i didn't find it!!!
I have a HTC Wizard with WM5.
I installed iConatcts v0.2 with softkey configs and doesn't work....i uninstalled but the softkey is remained changed with the "iContacts" link instead that the normal Contact link !!!
How can I restore the deafult situation!?!??!?
I tryed also with a reg editor but i don't know what reg key i ahve to modify..... ...so...if u can please help me please!!!

So guys...also if nobody replied to me, i found the solution in the Universal forum!
This is the key to modify in the registry:
If you want to change the right-hand softkey to start Contacts you would set
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\113\(Default) = Contacts
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\113\Open = \Windows\AppButtons\Contacts.lnk

Hi Mod,
I follow this procedure....
I made a .dll in wich i have been saved all my personal icons....
The tree had icon and icon group resources...
Next i've been written a txt file like this: "28#\windows\bobo.dll,-40" and saved it to icon.lnk. (-40 is the reference into dll icon group).
But i've a problem.... don't work... I'm not be able to see my icon....
I've tried to link at the original officeres.dll and a reference in this .dll but don't work too.
Where i'm wrong?

download from windows directory ..the name is iconress.dll use resource hacker to replace the icon..thats it

Try downloading this icon dll and using an icon editor like Microangelo librarian:

You should try to find it in the the decompiled lua scripts Sztupy posted and change it there (or you could try m9editor) but maybe SSMaHo can do the same for you. Post the solution when you found it as I'm sure more people are interested in this, 12

Sure you can, just open the exist cab with it...

Most likely it does quite a few of the regtweaks you want to implement and maybe even all of them. If it doesnt, please post them in the thread so that the author can review them and maybe implement them in upcoming versions!

I recently installed a rom for omnia i900 with Manila 2D.
I still have not figured out how to change the link for applications on the homepage.
For example if I wanted to change the calendar with another which file should I change?
I looked at the file homesetting.xml but I think it is only possible to change the look and icons.
Can you help me?
