FM Radio App replacement - Desire Themes and Apps

Hi All,
Was wondering if anybody had a replacement/alternative for the FM App that comes with the desires. I think the stock app is a little limited.

[Q] Do I have to pay to use FM Radio

I just bought my daughter the Flip Out. I've read that it has a built in FM radio tuner, but that you have to use the AT&T Radio app to use it. I believe that this app costs $4.99/month.
Is this the only way to use the FM tuner?
Do you have to pay to use the AT&T Radio app if all you want to use it for is your built in FM tuner?
Thanks,
Rich
I believe no.. Check if there's Radio under Music. My version has it there.

If you're saying you have a Radio option in the Music app, no I don't see one in there. (or are you talking about within the ATT Radio app?)

I have tested the Central Europe retail ROM and the UK retail ROM, these two have it under Music(Connected Music Player). The Chinese retail ROM has a seperate app for FM radio.
Check out user manual from Motorola, this should help.

Good old AT&T must have removed it from the rom to force you into their app. I did get my answer, however. You have to use the AT&T Radio app. After your trial subscription ends, it will only allow you to select FM Tuner option without subscribing.
So the FM tuner is free, that's acceptable...

FM Radio ?

Hi all anyone know if the xperia play has an fm Radio and if so where ?
Sent from my R800i using XDA App
There's no FM-Radio app on the xplay. SE chose not to enable that function for some reason ( afaik the hardware is there). I think I read somewhere that the reason is battery drain and that might well be, cause on my HTC DHD it was a big drainer.
Regards Dousan...
Good news if the fm Radio hardware IS there, but I have my doubts... Anyone know any apps that might make use of the possible fm Radio hardware?
Has anyone got the radio to work using any apps?

It's confirmed that the radio is there

I tried them ages ago - you dont get any audio duo to libs
if you want radio either use stock rom or an internet radio app
You can use TuneIn Radio. Very nice radio app but it requires an internet connection.

Radio app

Do Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7 / Edge phones come with a stock FM radio tuner app?
I just updated my Verizon S7 and it enabled the FM chip. What it did not include is an app to listen to radio. I know NextRadio is what they recommend but I don't like it. I've tried Spirit1 & Spirit2 but they didn't work on my stock S7.
Thanks!
I believe you need NextRadio to use the FM tuner. My NextRadio works great!
Headphones have to be plugged in, as its the antenna.

NextRadio does work, I'm just not a fan of the app.
I think old S4's came with a stock radio app sms wasn't sure if there was a more current one.
