Invitation to discuss the full potential of a rooted Android phone - Legend General

Hi everyone,
I'm in the midst of trying to understand the full potential of a rooted Android phone, and have started a thread here. I wish to invite users with good knowledge of what a rooted phone could do to contribute to the thread here:

Hi

Just wanted to say hi, I registered not too long ago and have been reading for a few weeks. Still have soo much to learn. I just got a G2 to use on Wind Mobile. My goal is to root it when I've learned enough from the information on here. This site is like an android Bible to me, thanks guys
Welcome!
Excellent choice of phone btw, this is a very good forum and there are a lot of bright people here. As always, and i'm assuming you know, the search button is your best friend! The G2 has come a long way from it's root kit days (looolool) and i'm sure it's ride of fame wont end for a while.
Enjoy your stay dude!

Thx guys! this site blows any other android forum out of the water! I use to think howard forums had good info but they don't have **** on you guys . I've already got a lot from this board and look forward to continuing my ongoing android education

Farewell, my friend fellow xda memebers

As the title states above I have purchased myself a Motorola photon and am moving to their forums. But I promise to visit the forums to help out this forum if needed. But I am going to a deserving device, one that could really use dev if you ever want to venture out of here. But happy new years and let us ring in 2012 as best we can!

Have fun with your new toy .

Thanks to Nexus s community for your help

Nexus S was my first Android and I learned everything I now know about Android on this very forum, and all my roms were downloaded from here too.
Today my new galaxy nexus arrived so will be on this part of the forum a lot less, so I just wanted to thank everyone who answered my questions (especially when I was first starting out - trying to root first time was a nightmare ), and also want to thank all the devs whose work I flashed and used.
awwww..
10chars
I will see u over there

[Q] [up] android L 5.0 mako

hello, is there anyone to bring the project to factory rom on Android The mako?
Surely our devs will begin to experiment with Android L. The Beta just came out yesterday for the Nexus 5 and 7. So please be patient

I knew it was only a matter of time before someone was to post this kind of question in the wrong thread again
But yes, hopefully we will see something pop up from the great devs we have for mako, just give it a week or so.
Life is sh!t.
Wow, pretty tame reaction for once, normally on XDA a question in the wrong section warrants the Wrath of Wolverines ripping the OP a fresh one.
C'mon folks, his head's still hanging from his shoulders by the edges!!!!!!!!
