I have no 3G on my x10. All i can use is edge or wifi. when on edge, i always get timeouts on opera, facebook, weather and email. is there a way to get the internet working on edge?
Edge is working wonderfull for me. But if u use Opera und Timescape is syncing or somewhat else the bandwith too so small, so u getting Timeouts.
is there any way i can get my apps working on edge?

It's strange problem and I tried searching. Basically when I use internet explorer to access facebook it only loads half the facebook pages no matter which part of facebook I open, eg inbox, notifications etc
It only loads till the point where the status bar appears in the end and everything is white at the bottom of it and you can only see half the pages?

There is a facebook app which is good u can upload your photos and videos but still not as good as the iphone facebook app. i cant understand y u cant use fb on internet ex why dont you want to use oprea its a loads better brower
Its jst tat i use opera for regular browsing and internet i wanna sign in and click on remember me and put it in my favorites so everytime i can access it from main phone window and when i do so it refreshesh my page everything is loaded. It's how i was using it on safari on iphone.

after done some searching at Google, they can only provide the free apps for 7 days.
there are some good free im apps already. I was using parlingo for a while, i liked it a lot, but I switched over to OZ IM. I think its a cab ripped from the HD2 or something. It just has a t-mobile sign on the home screen but works great. I use it just for gchat and I like how it carried the sounds and everything with it. the interface is much cleaner than parlingo too. you can find them here if you search the forum
New IM+ is also working with Facebook chatting.

the problem is beejive doesn't support this version at this time but it works perfectly and it's lightweight.
Palringo comes bundled in with the custom ROM I use and I find that it works pretty well for me.
I'm using palringo, and occasionally the AIM app that AOL puts out. Having said that, the AIM app is extremely slow

Yes, Palringo includes facebook chat.
The one thing with OZ IM, is on certain phones/OS it uses text messages vs data. I know this cuz I only had 200 txt msgs and got a huge bill...
Since yesterday, I'm having a problem over 3G.
The default browser when I try to access any https page:
Data connectivity problem
A secure connection could not be established.
.. Weird thing, happens with everything, web banking, google account login, google buz, etc
Isn't the provider, because opera can access any of them, and I could live with opera, but also a couple of applications like 'soundhound' I think they use https also, because won't work , but If I go by wi-fi, everything comes back to normal.
Someone told me about cleaning APNs, did, but the same result.
Using rooted 026 version, everything fine from months ago, but yesterday started with this weird problem

In the default browser, when I try to log in to my online banking account (Westpac), instead of displaying the page like normal it downloads it and I have to open it from the downloads. It's weird and I cant actually click anything on the downloaded page. But in Opera it works fine, so does anyone know if there's a fix and how?

exactly, opera mini works fine, but the problem isn't only about using Opera, it's that another 3 applications seems to use https
gtalk
gmail
buzz
and I can't post buzz with the widget, not use gmail app, not even gtalk.
soundhound also works only on wi-fi.
I can play some games without wi-fi, just 3G, access most pages.
The only problem seems to be https on 3G.
Already read a lot of workrounds on other devices, but seems isn't related to my problem.
My Samsung Galaxy S 4 has installed original ROM Kit-Kat and when I try to use S Voice it says there's no internet connection, but I can open Facebook, Gmail, Web Browser, Whatsapp, anything but this... is it something I need to set before use it??? this just works while I'm using WIFI, with data just doesn't work

I just jump from iPhone 6 to S7 edge and after one day of usage I've got few questions:
- syncing windows chrome bookmarks bar with samsung's Internet browser. Is any better way of doing this than 'Samsung Sync' extension for windows browser? I don't want to use android chrome for obvious reasons (fingerprint, adblock or LAGGGGS). Any app for phone?
- How can I block app from using data (not wifi).
Spotify- I've turned background data off (Setting-data usage) and turned 'download using cellular' within the app off and still spotify is using my data for playing, syncing etc. The reason I'm asking is because we've got one account with my girlfriend and now we cannot play in the same time even offline (no wifi). On iphone when you turn off data then if OFF.
