Tricks/Workarounds
02: Press the power button a second time (not really a permanent fix/ by dusty_nz) or <start->setting->system->power->backlight.....unselect"Dim the backlight.....> (pending confirmation for status upgrade / by gf8201)
04: hold your finger on the image it clears up (not really a fix/By mradaml) or use fingergestures and you don't even get the problem at all
06:If hard reset doesn't fix it: Try deleting the TXT right after sending it / clear the outgoing box (by mradaml)
What if... (try and see if it works for you)
xx: Having camera, phone or gps related problems: maybe you do not have the latest radio (1.59.42.23)

Fix Major Problems after Flash
!!!IMPORTANT!!! - Follow these steps in order (post#187)
1nd: Flash Radio 1.59.42.23
Fixes:
-Sluggishness
-temporary frezes
-(others)
2st: Hard Reset after flashing the rom
Fixes:
-SMS problems;
-(others)
3rd: run advance configuration 3.3 (Thanks to schaps for the App) (Read post # 177)
-Choosing "Recomended" will solve most problems
-In doubt, run a search on the forum with <option name>, "Advanced configuration" and "Polaris" (should get an answer)
Note: For some reason, sometimes, performing a Hard Reset after Flashing a Rom/Radio will solve some problems. It doesn't hurt and it takes about 10 secs
Q: How do I Hard Reset? => Press simultaneously messenger and internet hardware buttons (the 2 lower front buttons on polaris) and, wile holding them, press and release the reset button on the bottom of your device with your stylus.
I have been using the R1 for the past 2 hours or so...
Apart from the mentioned issues by udK... I have not experienced anything major except for the occational freeze of the device (non-responsive). after a few seconds its back to normal.
Frankly, I have experienced this issue on all the ROMs that were using the 3D drivers.

Sometime the clock showed instead of the battery in the today's top bar.
You should press enlarge icon or Start->Today to redisplay the battery icon.
Anydoby has the same experience?

2: When on the "All people" screen the "r" key on the htc keyboard dials the currently selected contact. the "R" does not. Always reproducible.
3: "All programs" link on programs is intermittent. Seems to have stopped working

yeah me too and already have this in R0
2. Scroll isn't working good in contact and in youtube to. works better with stylus

This occurs on all roms with the 3d driver. Syrius R0, Touch it m3d, opal
Which 3d driver? From what i have been told the 3d driver wasnt included in udks rom...
it's only software rendering, no hardware: dll from HTC.

I had the same issue with the Official WM6.0 and with WM 6.1 UDK r7.. so i think it's a WM issue...

1Don't have the first problem.
2Second, haven't test that one.
3Got that too, all programs doesn't work after one use.
It's a nice ROM overall, especially with a lot of bugs fixed!

Have experienced the same behaviour!
And I also have the "r" bug in All People.
Found a small bug. When i download something in opera and i press the save button in the donwload pop up thingy. The phone goes to the today screen. I have to go back to opera and then click the download destination etc. It all works but i think it is not supposed to happen this way.
As i said it is just a small bug.
Other than this i haven't found anything new. It's an amazing rom. Really responsive and a pleasure to use.
My HTC E100 don't work with this rom. This is needfull for me.

Seems HTC E100 is not working on all manilla 2 ROM's. I hope somebody finds a solution for this since this makes the wired remote useless.
But I found a BIG problem. TomTom 6 is not running on this ROM. I have not seen this problem in any ROM before.

I installed Touchflo on my Xperia. Works very well! But i have a problem.
The right key keeps remapping it's self back to "Today" after i start Touchflo.
I want this button to turn the display arround, but everytime i set it up, it remapps itself again after starting Touchflo.
I there a solution for this problem?
settings -> button -> map as whatever you want
what do you mean with "turn the display arround"? landscape?
In short, no solution if you have TF3D installed.

You could start TouchFlo via MortScript.

i got a small problem with some custom roms which use:
"Large Titlebar" or "Notification Enhance" together with that htc's fingerfriendy "Volume Control", i don't know how it's reproduced but it heappened to me with wwe and ger custom roms (i'm currently on a ger rom). When i press the volume keys the inbox opens instead of the volume control, also the taskbar does not respond to any touch (when one of the upper mentioned apps are running). After a softreset everything is fine again. I think that a service crashed or something?
Someone have a clue what heappened? Or if this was asked already plz post a link i didn't find anything.

I installed/uninstalled "HTC X-Button.CAB", and after that the volume hardware keys on the left side of the HD2 only do scrolling up and down... I want that those keys act as volume up and down manager, like always did.
Anyone knows how to solve this? It's very annoying -.-u

I hope that this can be solved doing some changes in the registry.

What happens when you long press the volume keys?

Sorry I made a mistake, the problem was after try "Touch X longpress sendkey taskmanager showcase.cab" and no HTC X-Button
I removed it because it didn't work in my phone, but no other problem.

i have some problem here.
I have windows mobile 6.5.3 (or 6.5.2? Don't know where to find out) and my button "áü" (next to space) isn't working. It's software error (i'we tried it in service menu). Have you any idea where i could find solution please?
Then i have also problem with camera button: first stage isn't working too, and this is REAL problem
When i'we tried service menu > keyboard, it wasn't working too (i mean just first stage of button, i can do photo but i cant focus) and above output area there was written "Power/Camera/Panel keys not supported" ...
Do you think that hard reset would help me?
