reinstall android on the phone? It is the only possebility that I can see.

Does it have Android? I think it's fake.

Me too! So sad! In my X10, I didn't see Market? I don't understand?

I believe that in certain regions google does not allow market to be used.
This is dependent on where the device is purchased.

I have the same problem. The reason (for me anyways) is that I live in the United Arab Emirates and here they have blocked it for some strange reason. I can however not go on with life using other app-clients, so what is it possible to do? At first I was considering finding a reason to return it and then order it from some other country. Any suggestions on what I can do to successfully get my money back? Secondly I considered rooting the phone, but I would prefer not because I like keeping the phone a "virgin" (silly, I know)
Help please

You can go to axiom service center and ask them to flash the uk version.

Wouldt that void the warranty? Can you please explain what it means to flash a uk version

Your device is axiom warranty.

hi, i bought also my phone from axium, and i got so when i realize that the Market is missing!!!!! any chance to flash the uk version by my self and hw?

too early to be flashing any custom stuff on x10 without bypassing security and for that you need root. once rooted then can flash firmware from different countries. doing this without root will surely kill your device. devices are made region specific for a reason so please hold fire till root of some kind is created! market has been disabled in certain regions for reasons that google can explain.....security perhaps! if you need it that badly maybe return phone and purchase other region device with market included! for now that only safe option!

but how do we return it..i mean i would if i could but since the lack of android market isnt something that is wrong with the phone we cant. they removed it on purpose so if i tell them i want to return it because there is no market he will say "well its like that on all android phones here, nothing is wrong with the phone so you cant return it" Or is there a loophole somewhere that i can exploit?

yeah i see your predicament and i am not aware of any loopholes that can be exploited. i would think that though that lack of the android market would suffice seeing that like the iphone, it is one of the major selling points for any android phone. i would argue that inability to get extra apps renders the phone useless and not suited for your needs! i am very good at making an argument over such things! you could however await root and flash away roms from other regions! a little patience. also most of the apps available for other devices can be installed on this phone with the apk files. i have just changed the keyb on mine

The manual says that the market is there. It is their obligation either to give us the market or return the money.
I called Axiom - Shkh Zayed Road - and they asked me to bring the phone and they will do something for me.

same thing happened when i purchased my samsung galaxy. it didnt have market so i had to flash it to a custom rom to get it back on.

In order to flash to the version of another country do we need to wait for the root? I asked around in Mall of the Emirates and they told me to go to a mobile phone workshop to get it flashed. I couldnt get my money back only store credit. But i lost my case while being drunk so I doubt I can return it anyways ;P

Not fair
I got my x10 from axiom, no market like all of you. I am waitting for a root so bad. I dont like 1.6 i want 2.1. The x10 hardware batter than the nexus one except for the screen which is LCD not LED. But whats the point of having suck good hardware if the software is gay and dosn't have even the market. I did however discover if you have a direct link to an .apk it will download the program and you can install it. For anyone who needs to read arabic sms's on the X10 message me and ill give you the URL. Enjoy and come on people ROOT ROOT ROOT!

I got mine from Jambos. I have the same problem, im trying to use emulator to access market via PC. I dont think even we root this gonna help. because market itself is blocked by etisalat. for us to make this dream come true, we need vpn internet and rooting together.

other android imported phones are using market normaly. No block from etisalat.

Help! Beginner Here! HTC HD2 on T-Mobile UK

Hi guys
Hoping someone would be kind enough to take the time out to answer some questions I have regarding my HD2 on T-Mobile UK and how I go about modifying it etc
Please bare with me....this is the first smartphone ive ever had and am totally new to all of this! :S
1) Does the fact that its locked to T-Mobile (and has some form of their own software on it) mean I am unable to make use of the many updates or software tweaks that appear on this site?
2) I see people talking about Manilla...is this the software HTC place on top on WM6.5?
3) I see a lot of people talking about flashing their ROMs....what does this actually mean? Is it possible for me to get rid of all T-mobile crap on my phone and be able to apply updates, fixes etc whenever I want?
4) I know of some people who have Jailbreak their iPhone allowing them to run loadsa different software on it etc....is something similar possible on the HD2?
5) Basically it all comes down to the fact that I dont like the basic taskbar look on my phone (really want a colourfull taskbar and some form of % battery indicator) and want to make it look a bit more modern/exciting....and Ive seen loadsa uploads on this site about other users homescreens etc and want to know how i go about doing that? Im not sure if having a T-Mobile HD2 will stop me from modifying it in that way?
Would really appreciate any help/advice anyone is willing to give.....the site seems very oriented to people who know what they're doing lol and im struggling to find a section for novice users like myself! I really like that idea of having a phone I can customise whenever I like.....just not sure at all of how to start going about it......
Cheers!!!

The fact that it's locked to T-Mobile doesn't affect the majority of software on here. Sometimes, there'll be discrepancies between what's expected on your phone, and what's actually on your phone. This will be rare, and usually resolved on here anyway.

Yes - Manila is the Sense UI.

Flashing the ROM changes the core of the phone. It's often done to do exactly what you said - to get rid of the software that's there by default, but you don't want it. Another more common reason for ROM flashing, is ROM updates that include software fixes (as just happened with 1.48), or windows updates.
4) I know of some people who have Jailbreak their iPhone allowing them to run loadsa different software on it etc....is something similar possible on the HD2?

You don't need to "jailbreak" windows mobile. Question 3 covers this really.

Having a T-Mobile phone won't stop you changing that at all. Just get used to these forums and searching them and you'll find most things you need. There's certainly taskbars on here. You're better off looking in either the root Leo forum (one step above this forum), or the themes and apps one. Also, the Sense UI has a lot of mods in other forums. The Blackstone, for example, had the Sense UI available in a ROM way before the HD2 was released, so that's also a good source of information.
Just keep reading and you'll be fine. We were all new here once
Have fun!
Thanks very much!! appreciate it!

just wondering why I wouldnt want to apply ROM updates and windows updates? would it not be better to do this than wait for official updates from T-Mobile that will prob take forever to emerge?
I've seen on some forums that there is already an official (yet not appearing on the HTC site) HD2 ROM upgrade....but are you saying you advise against this? Or are u saying I dont want to change the core of the phone....but applying updates etc is still possible?
Sorry, excuse my ignorance!
Cheers
I don't understand why you think I'm advising against ROM updates, but I'm not
Basically, it's up to you to weigh up whether or not you want to do a ROM update by looking at what's new and what's removed (if anything).
As far as waiting for T-Mobile to release their own version of the ROM.... yeah, you're right. I wouldn't bother.
I've just updated my HD2 with the 1.48 release, and it's a LOT faster. It's still new though, and a couple of issues have already been found. It's always "at your own risk" whenever you flash the ROM or install mods.
can i ask you what come in the box with tmobile handset, carry pouch? micro sd? an such. and did you get it from tmobile themselves or a phone outlet like carphonewarehouse, thanks in advance

hi....sure! no probs...
i got the handset (obviously lol) charger and micro usb lead (which is quite short and frustrating actually) also got a 2gb micro sd card! There was no pouch - although as far as I am aware HTC supply a pouch...which t-mobile (and all other networks as far as im aware) remove....to force u to buy one! So i bought the official HTC leather one online for £10 - which is quite nice!
I just walked into a t-mobile store in glasgow and asked for the phone...and they had it! i had been arguing all week on the phone with t-mobile upgrades and retentions.....they wanted to charge me £380 upgrade charge as i have a 50% line reduction.......but when i walked into the store they done it for me for £50!!! and kept my discount!!!! so now i get 1000mins, unlimited txts and internet for £20 a month! if ur looking for the phone and dont get quoted a good deal keep shopping....there's always someone willing to do a good deal!
happy times all round!

Sorry - you're absolutely right. You can't upgrade with that ROM. The experts on here are working on something called "Hard SPL" which basically allows you to flash any old ROM you want, regardless of your ROM version at the time.
The ROM that's bouncing round at the moment is an official HTC one, and can only be used on phones that aren't locked to providers.
Since it's a new phone, I'd recommend getting used to it and the available mods on here. You don't need to be able to flash the ROM to install most of the mods, so you can still tweak your phone like mad!

I'll have a play around with some of the mods on the site and try get it looking much sweeter!lol

hi thanks for quick reply
am glad you get micro sd, they could of threw the pouch in too LOL, oh well suppose its not that expensive. (know what you mean bout charger cable, same with diamond2 lol) i`m with orange at the mo there not releasing the phone on there network at all i dont think, got my diamond2 from carphone warehouse 10 months ago. its been put in for repair 2 times already due to touch screen failure, last time i put it in it got sent to htc who declared the warrenty void because of certain applications on the phone and have demanded £70 to fix even though i pay insurance every month. decided am not paying gonna cancel direct debit as it was nothing to do with software why i put it in, in the 1st place, think its ridiculous! i`d flashed a cooked rom on my phone and unblocked it with hard spl, i reflashed original htc rom before putting it in the shop but forgot to reblock my phone again, thats what they mean by CERTAIN APPLICATIONS. so beware if flashing your device with non htc rom and you have to claim on insurance for anything, you have to reflash everything back to original htc factory software/roms. to be honest hard spl(unblocking programme to flash any rom) is not out there yet for hd2, i dont think. but just a little tip for you..
by the way lol, i cant seem to get my hands on a hd2 anywhere, there like rocking horse sh#t!! lol am getting really bored watching videos about the device on pocketnow.com now tho Grrrrrrrrrrrrr lol i NEED one soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
just had an email from tmobile, apparently its on its way!!!!!!!!! yaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Erm you can flash the newly "released" Official HTC WWE ROM using the goldcard method. I did so on my T-Mobile HD2. The benefit of doing so is to regain the applications T-Mobile removed like You-Tube, CoPilot trial and Jetcet print. Also you get the advantage of being able to flash future patches directly from HTC, instead of waiting for T-mobile to get their hands on them and break it.

Hey buddy, did you manage to flash your rom then?
Like you I'm very new to this scene (coming from an iphone) so just wanted to know if you had successfully flashed your rom. Which rom did you use because I can see a lot of different versions of this 1.48 and don't know which one to use.
Surely if you flash your rom and it shows the youtube app as well as copilot, tmobile will void your warranty wont they???

not sure regarding the warranty issue....id think so....tho if i had to send it in for repair (touch wood i wont) then id just restore it back to its original version 1st....

What are the cons of Rooting??

As the title asks, with me getting the Evo (2 of them) on the 4th and wanting to root them to get full access, I understand the "pros" for rooting but what are the "cons"?
If you dont know the cons of rooting your phone... the con is you'll probably brick it.
good luck !
There aren't many, but I guess if you had to list them:
1) Slight risk of bricking your phone, but this really only applies if you're not careful, IMHO.
2) Technically it voids your warranty, however, you can always unroot, assuming your phone is still operational.
3) You won't receive OTA updates, however HTC has made a habit of not releasing timely OTA updates for their phones, and you can again unroot if you really want to.
Can you post a link to the PROs of rooting please. Thanks.
A few Pros:
1) Can install custom roms, which are usually faster and more customizable than the stock rom.
2) Can overclock
3) Can remove bloatware (e.g., Sprint pre-installed apps)
4) Can use a free wireless tethering app
5) You often get features from upcoming versions of Android faster than if you waited for the stock ROM to be sent out by the carrier/manufacturer (e.g., by installing new custom ROMS).
In regards to #4. How long do you think it will take someone to get wireless tethering going on the EVO. I think it is another 30 bucks a month if you want to pay for it. Overclock, that will be new territory for me, I have a Palm Treo Pro which could seriously use an OC.
I had WiMo for years and did the Kitchen and RUUs on many. My 6700 was OC'ed to 624. My VZW 6800 has a Sprint radio on it for GPS and 6.5 with lots of reg edits. Im not worried about bricking my device. Ive never bricked one before and done plan on it now.
Im aware of voiding the warranty but its not like VZW or Sprints reps have been much help or use before anyway.
Unrooting is something I dont see much about. I can understand why since rooting is where we all want to go but how do you unroot?
Not worried about OTA updates either as Im sure the updates will be on torrent sites and sites like this one for manual updates to happen.
Does all 3rd party software work on a rooted device or is there something in the software itself that needs to be changed?

I currently use PDANet to tether.
It does not require Root.
Maybe I am missing something here.
You can also use the multitude of root-required apps like Titanium Backup (my favorite Android app).

Yeah I dont think they have been released either. They are waiting for the phone to be officially released first.
I have PDAnet also for Android and am just waiting to get the device. I use it one my WiMo all the time and it works great.
here are the cons I have noticed since rooting my Hero......:
1. You will quickly turn into a flashaholic...
2. You will be glued to this site all the time......
3. You will never ever leave your phone alone....."if I could just change this one thing i will be happy" nope.... IT NEVER ENDS
4. oh and yes u could brick it and it does void the warranty
jus me 2 cents

..and I'll add another 98 cents to that!!
I had root on my Hero for wifi tether, and the roms. OTA updates don't mean anything because the devs are able to usually incorporate those right away and even before they are released. I was running 2.1 on my Hero long before Sprint released it. I also like having the ability to remove all the System apps I don't want. I don't see much negatives from rooting.

Do you Think HTC will place the same Hardware root block on the DHD as they did on G2

Well, according to these very forums, the US T-mobile G2 has a hardware root block - a chip which flashes the phone back to the original ROM every time it detects a custom one
Do you think HTC will place this same hardware root block on the UK Desire Z and more importantly, our precious Desire HD? Personally, I'd like to believe that HTC did this under pressure from T-Mobile US, but I don't know...
Yes the desire HD will have the same protection as the G2. athough that sounds bad its not as bad as you would think.
1) there will be loads of devs working on the same problem (G2, DesireZ, DesireHD) so the quicker the full root will come
2) we can still "temporeraly" write to system unlike the Evo/Desire/ect. before root
Presumeing that the DesireHD is also vunrable to the rageagainstthecage exploit like the G2. Im pritty shure that it will be as G2 is and the ROM will be built at a similer time if :-D

The G2 is running Vanilla 2.2 though, so it may be somewhat different... Lets hope the Desire HD can be rooted ASAP, Im sure Paul OB has a few tricks up his sleeve He has an answer for everything you know))
JD
yeah i just read about this on Engadget. This could potentially be a major problem for us future DHD owners.
Nobody has confirmed yet that there is some sort of hardware block. To me it sounds more like a kernel customization. Anyways, give the G2 hackers a couple of days to figure it out. I wouldn't be surprised if non-US phones (where there is actually competition) will not see this crap.
Thanks for your opinions guys! I guess the key is patience, it seems successful steps have already been taking in unlocking the device. With the combined effort of all of the HTC droid hackers, it shouldn't take very long at all
If they cant disable it, maybe they can make the phone reinstall a rooted version of the stock.. They have temporary root now, hopefully they manage to locate the hidden nand.. If they managed to get write permission to the part where the stock image/rom is, hopefully they will manage to make it restore a rooted version of it. If they manage to disable it, it would be easier for us to flash using rom manager etc but if they cant, we will just have to perhaps rely on restoring method. Its like a nandroid restore mechanism.
Just wishful thinking here, i do not know what they are doing now but hopefully it will work either hard or easy. Things go hard at first and hopefully will be more fluid as time pass by. Pray.. pray.. pray.. Go modders/devs!
I can tell you all now HTC will have HW R/W protection on there probably controled by the bootloader. They did it on the Desire/Wildfire/Evo they are not going to take a step back with this phone. 99% of the stuff ppl here about the G2 protection is wrong. i.e its not a rootkit :-s what happens.
Bootloader sets eMMC to R/O --> boots os --> any changes get bufferd --> on reboot bootloader restores removing changes
Thats what happens no one realy knows how the restores happen yet.
Root will come probably for all 3 devices at once.

Personally, I can live without custom ROM, though I would prefer to have it. I currently own a Hero with MCR5, and love it.
But what is REALLY important is root access to access Market and download the many programs I have already purchased.
Here in Denmark, we only have the locked "free apps only" market. I need my CoPilot and much other stuff!
If I have root, and can run my "root required" apps, then I am happy.

Have you been inside a cave this last few days?!? If it's all about the market, google is going to open up to almost 30 new countries....

Oh, but you tell me, that the X app or the Y app still is not going to be on my country's market...
But that's not google fault, now it up with the software devs to select what country market they want to be

Still, not all countries are on that list (like mine for example).
So having access to paid apps is still a pretty good reason to have root.
So, i need a help from you guys with this. I never had Android and have one question.
Ok, i understood that if i want coocked ROM i need to root it, BUT if I want instal crack games and programs and all availible apps from the net, do I still need this root?
Without root i can instal only free games and buy the one with price and thats all??
Thanks
Hang on, are you asking for advice on pirating? O_O
OMG!

...And this is where MarketEnabler is great. I buy stuff from all over the place. Some I can maybe live without, but some I would hate to miss out on.
And I still need Root for Titanium Backup.

Can somebody explain.. Is this feature "HW root block" will be affect every DHD or only SIM-locked (operator's) phones?
I'm using Galaxy S and it is not difficult to guess that I have pre-ordered DHD on Clove. My Galaxy's using experience tell me to be bad without having root access. So I have been a bit confused when saw this topic.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
The DHD will have the same R/W (root) protection in place as the G2 (vision). I know this as its based on the same chipset and will contain the same eMMC.
HTC always do this on every "generation" of phone i.e desire/evo/ect. Generation had the same NAND lockout as eachother.
So every single shipping DHD will have the G2 style protection
Can a mod pls close this topic its pointless and missleading
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
Apache you gave me a reason to wait details about this are 100% defined and I add..unlocked..before buying. Can't live with a locked Htc with no custom roms.
One question, can you point me where I can follow the development of this?

How so? I'm asking a valid question, T-Mobile US may have pushed HTC into doing this, just like they did to remove Wifi tethering to the G2's supposedly 'Vanilla' version of Android... Do you work for HTC? All we can do is predict trends, nobody knows for sure if the DHD will share the US G2's exact chipset.

Mrjonnyrock,
Im on Vodafone UK and my phone arrived anbranded. Im currently on stock 1.72.405.3. I think the bloatware (Facebook, twitter etc) is actually HTC standard bloatware rather than Vodafone. I originally rooted using the one click method and removed all such software. You will need to follow the down grade threads to return to 1.32.405.6 to use such a method though but it isnt that easy.
Heed the warnings though as removing such software blocks HTC's OTA updates (I learnt that the hard way).
A programme like LauncherPro will enable you to hide unwanted apps from your app drawer. I know thats not permanent and they still exist in some alternative reality but if you are only going to root to remove those apps rather than run a custom rom it may be simpler and easier in the long run.
Just my opinion though.

There are a bunch of stupid demo games and other crap installed including vodafone 360, rubbish that i want to get off.
Why put this crap on a device? Its like the laptop OEMs, installing all the crap under the sun to make some extra cash. I am not offered my device for less money, but they get my money and money form advertisers.
WHEN THE BLOODY HELL WILL THESE PEOPLE LEARN. WE DON'T WANT YOUR CRAP SOFTWARE INSTALLED ON DEVICES THAT WE PAY A LOT OF MONEY FOR. why must i have stuff installed on a device that i do not want with no way of getting it off the device. I pay for the device i should have the right to choose what i want on it and not be forced accept having the stuff forced on me.
i have had the phone for a day now and if i don't find a way of getting this crap off the phone without voiding my warranty, it will go back to vodafone.

Nope, flashing the phone with a different ROM is going to void your warranty, Vodafone put this crap on your phone as it makes them money, so it is there vested interest to insist that it stays put

i thought as much My original HTC Desire had to go back to HTC for repairs and this could take longer than a week. the phone did not really have much crap on it. i guess this because there is not much memory on the phone to install crap. I did not think that the Desire HD would come loaded with rubbish so did not even think about that.
Can i deal directly with HTC if there are any hardware issues with the phone? or would it have to go back via vodafone?
Vodafone have bad habits of doing this to people so this is hardly surprising. I got my DHD a couple weeks after release and theres no bloatware on it, but i had a feeling they were going to, so I got it early. But Google in their infinite wisdom said that 2.3/2.4 android will make things easier for mobile companies to brand the phones.
i do understand the guy....
i have a desire which i bought via ebay and got it unlocked.
it does have some t mobile stuff...start up animation etc....
i was thinking of copying an official rom straight from htc to it...
the problem i have is this ...... which one
had the phone for 3 days only and haven't had time to play with it... it's not my first htc phone flashed others before... just need some direction

Anyone know what loading this would do to my uk vodafone Desire HD?
well i had an orange hd phone before...
i had to run a root kit before being able to copy any other roms...
so you may have to check that before...
i still need some time before i flash it or maybe wait for gingerbread to come out... so that i do that only once
why don't u unload uninstall any vodafone stuff?
I had my phone from Virgin Mobile. Luckily not too much bloatware on it.
I eneded up rooting it simply as I like using stock Android rather than HTC Sense, which is always a good reason to root.
So now I'm runnign CyanogenMod7 , which is Android 2.3, runnign overclocked to 1.5Ghz.
Fast like you would not believe !
And to be fair, once rooted you';ll probably get updates here faster than waiting for Vodafone to update it OTA !!

the uninstall option is greyed out. Stuff like Tower Bloxx NY Trail, Texas Hold'em, uno trial etc can not be removed. Also this vodafone 360 stuff is rubbish. Great i am with vodafone, but i will never use this stuff.
O and what if i was a recovering gambling addict vodafone? Or if gambling was something I did not want on my phone for religious reasons. This is the UK, looks like someone did not check with legal before sending out devices.

Did you actually pay Vodafone for the phone, or was it free/discounted on contract?
If you paid full price for it... why not buy it unbranded e.g. from Carphone Warehouse?

well its a new contract so its not free. You get nothing for free.
By the time the contract it up i would have paid for it.
Discounted, don't make me laugh. Vodafone would not offer any device/service if they did not make money. They have a % of profit that they need to make on every contract.
Edit:
also, i am not really that unhappy with the vodafone branding or the 360 software. i will just not use it. Its a pain but i can live with that. The thing that is just not on is the installing of demo or trial software that can not be removed.

Thats the one I used to get rid of my 3UK bloatware. Its perfect.. fastboot really is fastboot now! No more splash/loading screens.. no more unwanted games and apps.
Don’t work ( RUU_Ace_HTC_WWE_1.32.405.6_Radio_12.28b.60.140e_26 .03.02.26_M_release_155891_signed.exe) on mine (vodafone UK). it may be that mine is now running Andriod 2.2.1 but when i try and install it i get the error customer ID.
Am seriously thinking that it needs to be taken back to Vodafone.
The thing that is worrying me is that in say 12 months time Vodafone might not bother to update the device even if google/htc have an update for the phone.

[Q] If i unlock then relock, can Moto tell that i unlocked?

I know this has been asked before but i just want to be sure, i just got the xoom and i want to know if i can send it in for repairs. I just want to kno if its like the ipod's/phones where there is a physical feature that is broken, so i can relock and my warranty will be valid.
Moto doesn't care.
K thanks

Wait, what makes you say that? Do you know something we don't know? As far as I've heard, they've been very specific to say that they will not support devices that have been hacked.

... yet they sold us a Google-Experience device with an unlocked bootloader.
You can't break anything seriously with software, which means any potential problems we'd have are either physical, user-abuse, or hardware defects. If you send it in and they determine that the problem is SW, they'll probably just wipe it back to stock and send it to you.
Fact does remain, however, that when you unlock that device you have to acknowledge you are voiding your warranty if you proceed. I'd like to think they would be reasonable - but at the same time, you have agreed to kiss off your warranty when you unlock.
That is why I am hesitant to unlock, on all of my Android Phones I have rooted because I know there is no hardware function that can tell it has been "Hacked" like on the iPhone. The Xoom I am unsure about because nobody has a definitive answer yet. My Eris broke 3 times while rooted and I unrooted each time and sent it in for a exchange. I just want the above situation to be equivilent to when/if (Hopefully not) my xoom has a hardware failure.

Moto has released their newest UPDATE for the xoom, on their website they included instructions and software to "RE-LOCK"/"UNROOT" your device before doing update. they dont care as long as you "relock"before sending the device to them to fix or reflash stock after you BUNKED a mod or etc...i dont recommend doing a theme flash, i did a few of them and had to go back to stock after every theme i tried, they did nothing but force close and i almost wasnt able to get back into CWM because the device wasnt recognized in adb...unlocking and rooting does nothing bad to your XOOM, best thing going for it, at least til there are some ROMS that couldnt get here any sooner...just a heads up

Thanks everyone! I think im going to unlock it when I get the chance, the SD card slot is a BIG thing that I could use, also I want it overclocked just a lil (1.25 Ghz per core) so it doesn't lag much on the home screen. Also im not going to be flashing roms and stuff mainly kernels. This device is going to be used as a family computer so i can't mess with it as much as I can with my Phone . Anyways thanks guys!
