I need your help to unlock my HTC HD2 (LEO) ???
Operator : Orange - France
The only way to unlock as of now
Well bro there is no free app available yet to unlock the phone you gotta get the code from the company your phone is branded to or try searching on EBAY , you'll find the cheapest code's here, I did via ebay itself..!!!
It costed me only 6.9 GBP..!!!
PS : - You have limited number of tries to enter the unlock code if you enter wrong code more than twice [I presume] your phone will be locked forever, so don't play around with that..!!!
One of our fellow XDA member has already got it trouble cause of that..!!!
So if you LOVE your LEO be careful..!!!

For French Operator you have to go through Factory Code and not possible through the Operator.

Well EBAY is definitely secure but according to ferraripassion you need to get it from your operator, I have no idea about that..!!!
Well just send a mail to any of those ebay sellers & tell them on which operator is your phone locked to & ask if it can be unlocked..!!!
Learn from my mistake!
I sent about $20 USD to http://www.mobileunlocked.co 2 days ago.
I immediately got one email telling me that instead of 5 minutes, it'd take 30 minutes!
That was the last communication I have received and I have gotten NO response from several emails sent to them in the mean time!

I am so tired of dealing with people who keep making this "guarantee", then simply fail, and issue a refund. The unlock is what I want. i AM willing to pay for it, of course.
If it "can't" be done, I'd rather hear THAT, than go thru this "Song and Dance", Over and Over.

I think, it is obvious, that you are going to, again, be unable to unlock my HTC HD2, in spite of the inflated price and assurances.

BTW - most Herlad, WIng and Terra don´t haveto be SIM unlocked.

I believe you have to upgradio your radio version or something, but pleas read the forum better, i believe there already was a topic about this.

Please explain "1 code to 1 person!". Do you mean 1 FREE code? If it is, why did you refuse my proposal? If it is not free, please give us a quotation. If it is not free, I hope it will not be "1 code to 1 person!" and the cost will not be more expensive than at imei-check.co.uk! Its not bad if you can provide such a service, but please give more details or indicate your website if you want to sell your service

Tupsie-doopsie, why don't you just pay for your ads and really contribute to this forum, instead of using free space to advertise and make money?
Nobody does anything here for money... people accept donations, but they also post their work and THEN ask for donations. If you have figured out how to SIM Unlock these phones,
I can easily call T-Mobile and have them unlock my device, but I'm willing to personally send you $100, and I'm sure some other people here might contribute something as well, if you upload your SIM Unlock tool or method.

I think your mistaken, operator branded phones usually come sim locked, I assume it is the operator codes you are supplying tupisdin.
only operator thats signed up so far is o2, and theirs is unlocked as well

a mod should delete this!

dont bother yourself, it will comeout soon the unlocker for all those htc products. for example the htc cheetah, i unlock already 15 units but there is not yet possible solution there in the forum of cheetah but thanks Olipro for the hardwork.
Swiss version from sunrise is sim unlocked.
And this site is about developing for free.
Will chat with the mods about the general subject of making money through the site and the site getting nothing for it as well as users getting ripped off.

Sim Lock is when you buy a phone from T-Mobile and try to put a At&t sim in the t-mobile phone and it will not work.
Sim Unlock is when you have a phone you bought from t-mobile and unlocked the sim. Then you put a at&t sim card in the phone and it works. you can call on at&t networks if you have a at&t sim.
basicly allows a t-mobile only phone to work on any sim network.

I'm sorry, but I disagree completely. (Politely said, no?)
What I consider impolite, is trying to use this forum for free advertising. If tupisdin wants to advertise his paid sim-unlock service, then he should pay for advertising, either on this site or elsewhere.
There is a word, for people trying to use discussion groups such as this one, for free advertising. That word is called SPAM! (Exception--forums specifically for the purpose of buying and selling used equipment, etc.) A lot of Usenet discussion groups have become totally ruined by spam.
Tupisdin spammed this board with this thread, and I do not appreciate that. I would suggest that the board owners delete this thread immediately.(Perhaps also remove his ability to send and receive PMs.)

YESSS - T-Mobile WILL give you the SIM unlock code
Just call them - I just did - and tell them you will be traveling and may need to use the phone on another network - they emailed me the code in about 1.5 hours!

Could someone of you who is a subscriber of AT & T, call their call center and ask for the unlock code. I've already called twice, I do not want to give the code as I have with them is to be signed a contract, and I live in Europe. And then I have them struck up a conversation. The code in the end to no avail.

Maybe they have some asistence in spanish. It would be easier for me.

I wrote in the chat support of AT&T and they said THAT WILL GIVE THE UNLOCK CODE ONLY SUBSCRIBERS OF THEIR NETWORKS, WHICH GIVE A PHONE NUMBER AND ACCOUNT NUMBER.

Defy Soft Sim Unlock
Have you tried the software sim unlock methods that work for the Defy??? No reason they shouldn't work for us. Its worth a try anyways. Hope this helps.

You use at&t and have wireless number?
Yes. But I'm on my parents plan but I don't know the account code, and they won't help because they think this costs money. I tried calling but since I don't have account code att wouldn't give assistance.

Account code is not necessary, enough of a phone number, they on him check your balance and other information.

Account code is necessary. After 20 minutes of talking to the rep, then her manager, they wouldn't help me without it. The code is necessary for me anyways.
What about BravoMotorola, he's American and on AT&T. Can he help?
