apparently the GPS has problems because the registry key
HKLM \ System \ CurrentControlSet \ GPSIntermediateDriver \ Drivers \ UNTSServerURL
to the following: agpss.orange.fr: 7275
IGO8 not sync, he connected for 5 seconds and nothing, even with GPS Gate and after several soft resets.
Before the IGO8 with configuration is connected to almost every port, from nothing, I think I'm going back to the previous version.
Confirmation of what I thought,
when delivered earlier version of the TG01, IGO8 connects again without problems and other GPS software such as Google map etc. ...

As far as I know, the debranded 0.001 UK version should not have this issue. I've done a lot of work arround register into the 0.009, and I'm using the same work for the "multilanguage" releases. Maybe I deleted some register entries that I shouldn't delete. I will work into a hotfix. Just be patient.

Cool, but I would really like seeing it without both the TomTom's
and also Skyfire (and Opera), so one could install whatever
likes by cab. Opera and also TomTom 6, 7 and Skyfire is
available as cabs and you would not waste space when
overwriting old versions with updates. I for myself prefer
IGO8 before TomTom and I would really hate wasting 12-16 (?) MB
space for unused TomTom versions. You could maybe create
a basic and premium version of your rom with and without those
apps. This would be very nice, indeed!!
Btw, were you able to dump R0 with all dsm/rgus you need?

Just one question - how does the Skyfire application work? Currently the client is only supported in the USA, is there an workaround existing?

I will make 2 Editions of the ROM, the one will be clean ROM, without useless STUFF. Just the R0 in GERMAN. with critical Bugfixes !! Additional Software can be installed with a cab. will post them, too.
The second one will be with additional Features like TT & IGO, Skyfire etc.
Skyfire works in USA normally, youre Right, but its cracked Version, Have edit some Programm Files and get it to work on Polaris in Europe with all Functions !!
I have dumped it with all dsm - nothing changed so far..... Had no Problems

udK say that he will release it on Thursday or Friday, he dont Released, but it wont take more than 3-4 Days i think, so just sit back and Relax, the R1 will be released by udk and that is the r0 with FIXED BUGS its in WWE (English)

I used v42, it's fast, but the messages do not work as it should, the cursor is not always where you need it, sometimes the keyboard occurring on some black stripes. But it wrong fewer letters when writing or is just an impression?

no impression... also had some probs with the messaging and the keyboard!
also had big troubles with WiFi, so i changed now to KhanX (v1.4) ROM
maybe I am lucky but I'm having no problems with v42.
seems to use way less memory than udK Syrius r4

i have made a german version of yevg001's 614c_WM6.1_20270_v1.4_rev1.1 image.
it's only tested with radio firmware 0.88 (M:MP-0088-200608) - don't know if it works with other versions.
german and english t9 are included.
flash the phone as usual with the sd-loader method - and as usual.... do it at your own risk

sorry i currently don't have the time for making an image in another language than german, just try it yourself!
after i have found some language bugs in my previous image i have made a new one. there are also some other changes:
- removed some trash (google search, hp photosmart, hp help, hp tips ...)
- updated googlemaps to the latest version (streetview)
- included manila 2d/touch flo + htc album + htc audio manager + htc comm manager + manilla 2d customizer
- included youtubeplay
- manila 2d internet tab fix
- hp ipaqdataconnect - made a DACH edition (germany/austria/switzerland) - removed all other countries/providers
...
the phone is now 99% german!

thanks for your work - tryied you last version it works well but the power drain is mutch more than before. I saw that some autorun progies like HPconfig ist not active anymore - could this be a matter for the power?
Also I would prefer to keep the Ipaq data settings for the other countries in case of travelling.

it bases on 614c_WM6.1_20270_v1.4_rev1.1 (without manila, i added manila myself), when i started building the image there was no rev 1.2 out - if somebody has some spare time it would be nice to compare rev1.1 to rev1.2 and list the differences
i know about the shutdown message but i have no clue from where it comes, i have changed nearly all language files and registry entries to german (in the sys part i currently only remember the remote terminal service client where i haven't found the german files)
if anybody knows a solution please share it!

bad to hear that power consumption has increased. i haven't used the phone for 4 days now and i have 29% percent without loading since that time. (nearly no calls and no data activated)
what do you exactly mean by hpconfig?
i have removed google search, hp help and support, hp customization engine, hp cert enroller, hp internet bookmarks and defaultpage, hp ipaq tips, hp photosmart mobile, hp ringtones and hp shortcut - i don't see a relationship between that components and the power consumption??

2. iPAQ GPS QK Position from 914с (was also there in rev1.1)
3. GPS Viewer (dito)
4. PIM Backup (dito)
5. SMS Backup (dito)
4. хТ9 russian and polish (dito)
5. module sp40002 (better keeps network) (dito, this updated dll (rilgsm.dll) is definitly in rev1.1)

If you don't need them, you can try it this way...you need part2.raw rename it to flash.dio and then you have got your old one....but it has to be ~80MB...
But I don't take care if these are working correctly
but other issues are:
* the bad camera went from bad to worse!
* Wireless doesn't work very stable...it sometimes deactivates itselfe, if I want to connect to a network manually and sometimes it disappears from the wireless-manager....
but the rest its a stable ROM and much faster....

One of the best rom's i've tried so far, and belive me i've tried allmost all the nice roms that have been coming out latley
Though i got a little prob. Ive edited the reg to make use of the Danish eT9/xT9 and word sug. so far have been working great on all the other roms i've tried out so far, but on this one, I can see the Danish language in the input settings and the French and the Italien and Spanish and English. But when i select whatever language it will will still show English Language and WONT change the eT9/xT9 and the word sugsution either...
It's like it only can see the English lang and not any of the others, so now i'am stuck with eng language even the arabic one desepiered from under languages in the keyboard input settings after i edited the registery settings ....
Have tried to restore 2-3 times with no luck .
Any 1 have a clue of what the prob could be ? Maybe the other language files were removed ?
Downloading the eng ver. now to try out if it has the same prob, but then i'll be missing the arab lang support :-( rapisshare is ((( ssssLLLLLoooooWWWW)))) as hell when u r not a prem. member....
Other then this little isue, the rom is racket fast and stable, and looks very beutifull Great work on this one, hope to see more roms in the future from him...

I don't know about the S743. Does the HardSPL work on the S743? I think I would need to replace some drivers for it.

I know that it has o German language in it. I already wrote which languages it has on the top of the first post.
I might add more languages over the coming weeks.

BTW: Asian languages will take a bit longer, because I have to re-do everything with a Asian-capable SYS!

congr for first cooked rom. Could you post also your kitchen? Best WM 6.1 standard I ever see was cooked rom for HTC Tornado. I would like to add many tweaks and addon from this rom, but dont find time for setting kitchen yet. If you have already working kitchen with setting it would be nice to share.
