Unable to make calls and recieve calls
Poor sound quality
Poor audio

Artemis 7.0 works : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=612580

Mine works (see my sig)

ROMeOS4 v4.05a

The OzROMs do, as they are base 1.72
Isn't that the distinguishing feature, simply that no 2.10 TMOUS ROMs are compatible with this Radio, since it is not a TMOUS Radio?

Nahh no rom with 576mb works, artemis v7 is 2.10 and works great with radio 2.09.

mine does (1.72 based)

Would be nice if an admin would make this thread a sticky.. Really hard to figure out what rom to choose, when there are so many to choose from.. And in my experience, the 2.09 radio is the best made, for battery, reception etc..

Mine works fantastic with Radio 2.09.

Duttys Leo Sense 2.5 HG V1.6 not working....

Im using the latest evo 1.4 rom from Xannytech and this radio is working just fine but the first time it wont boot,i take off the battery and reset, its working fine now, when i restart the device its not working anymore again....so not compatible!

Works fine on Eugenia 1.1.

@ionhide:
to make this post worth a sticky you should update your first post with every rom posted on this thread.

Oh yes of course - Will start working on it immediately!

EnergyROM working
The latest EnergyROM releases are working fine with the 2.09 radio.

I don't think it is necessary for a sticky but it could serve as a information post. The only think to remember is to look at what base build the ROM is built on before flashing. If your not sure PM the cook.
It is very simple any TMOUS base roms this radio will not work. If the ROM's are based on 1.48, 1.66, or 1.72 this radio will work.

I just updated 1st post - Will be updating later with more information..

For me, the EnergyROM does not work with the 2.09 radio. I tested with 23549 MaxManila, and 23541 MaxManila before, none working. The phone can bootup fine, but you cannot make any phone call. No sound when call, and lockup after call hungup.

I'm not sure but he maybe using some drivers from the 2.10 in his ROM. If you try the 2.08.50.08 radio and it works then this is most certainly the case.

[RADIO][DISCUSSION] v2.09.51.03

The radio is taken from:
Leo_Dopod_CHS_1.73.706.0_Radio_CRC_Signed_15.36.50.07U_2.09.51.03_2_Test.exe (look on http://www.darkforcesteam.com.cn/ and http://www.playpda.net/ for more info. The rom was online a couple of hours ago and is now offline)
Download RADIO_2_09_51_03
Unfortunately the radio doesn't support the new unlocked 576 ram.
MOD EDIT: DO NOT FLASH THIS ONTO A US HD2 WITH 1024ROM OR YOU COULD BRICK YOUR DEVICE!!

Great, maybe you can give a link to your radio folder too. Great repository you have there.
Now all we have to do is to find the 2_09_50 counterpart so we have our memory back.

Yes, I run a 2.10 base and I flashed it without any problems. Don't know though if this radio prevents the device from booting up after a flash or hardreset. Maybe someone else can shine a light on this. (Curious myself )
15-03 my moms bday
Thx for the radio.
My guess is it may not be compatible with 2.10 roms (wont boot after reset) because it comes from the 51 tree. Be great if it does work though

HSPL Versions

Hi there,
I was hoping you could answer a question for me. I have me searching for days and can't find what the different is between the Hspl versions. Is the latest the best?
My HTC HD2 was on 1.42 and I ran HSPL and change it to 1.42 HSPL.
It is working fine, but I was wondering if i made the right choice, and what the difference is?
Also, can I run it again and change the hspl version ?
Thanks in Advance
The developer of HSPL recommends matching your hspl version to the rom you are using, so 1.42 matched to a 1.42 - 1.48 based rom, 1.66hspl to a 1.66 or 1.72 based rom and 2.08hspl to the later roms. You supposedly get a more stable rom. I however can't say I have seen any significant difference between 1.42 hspl and 2.08hspl.
Just run HSPL2 again and you can change between the various hspl versions or even revert to stock spl versions at will.

Thanks for quick response. I think I will leave it on 1.42 as that was the same as my stock spl.
The next step is to choose a ROM. Any suggestions? Im looking for a stable, fast rom, with app updates, but that still has the weather animation. Also, I would like to be able to run fspce without any issue.
What do you reccoment?
Thanks again.

ROMs are personal decisions and what I like may not be to your liking. I suggest the best approach is to review the threads, look at screenshots, read the last 5 pages or so of the threads to see if there are major problems with the rom and then try a few.
The one I'm using is linked in my signature

I have radio version 2.05.51.05_2 and I would like to use this rom, which radio version should I use ?
I found Leo_RADIO_15.33.50.07U_2.07.50.27 **(from TMOUS 2.07) which looks ok, but will this be ok for a 512mb HTC hd2? Or is it for the T mobile version only?
Thanks
at this state you can flash all radios available on a 512 mb device. the new radios detect if its 512 or 1024 device.

Radio OR ROM ?

I have radio version 2.05.51.05_2 and I would like to use this rom -
ROM: ★ Energy Series 23557|Apr 12| , which radio version should I use ?
I found Leo_RADIO_15.33.50.07U_2.07.50.27 **(from TMOUS 2.07) which looks ok, but will this be ok for a 512mb HTC hd2? Or is it for the T mobile version only?
Also, do I update the radio first? with my current stock ROM? Or do I update the ROM first and then update Radio?
Thanks in Advance
Will this be your first flash?
If so, check this before do anything else: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477
If not, and if you already have HSPL installed on your device, you should first flash the RADIO ROM and then the ROM. (check previous link for that too)
I personally like the one's on my sig, but you must try several rom's and radios' and see wich one you like more.
Hope i could help.
i think next time you may not make a new thread. you can ask what you are confused on Energy ROM thread...

Thanks for that. This is my first flash, but I have already run hspl2 and my phone is set to 1.42 hspl.
I just want to make sure I have all the correct info before I flash.
So you can confirm that this radio will work with my device?
Hi
I use Energy rom now
I use radio 2.08.50.08_2
And everything is OK
But somebody said that radio 2.07 will give a better battery life, you could try this I use radio 2.08 because I like the newer radio
You should upgrade radio first, then Rom
My device is "normal" HD2
Im sure you have either a: allready flashed your phone successfully
or b: bricked it and are now crying under your bed sheets as you've managed to make the worlds most expesive door stop.
either way, do energy roms will not work with a .51 radio. it has to be a .50.
I use 2.08.50.08 and works a charm, its reported that 2.07 radio's are better for battery life.

As djchubbs said, you should use only .50 RADIO's on Energy ROM, so the one you said it's ok

Read the stickys in the ROM Development forum.
Look here it tells you everything. Try to use the search function to find the answers to your questions, this topic comes up too often and people will usually flame you for not even looking at the stickys in the relevant forum.
Really sorry for posting in the wrong section but I did check that thread and that's how I learnt how to HSPL. What I don't know is which version of ROM should I get? I did check the various threads and there I found some official ROMS. I would like to know whether the official ROMs will work on my HD 2 using HSPL.

If you have HSPL installed you can use any offical ROM, but you may well have to be mindful of the radio you have installed, flashing an incompatable ROM/radio combo will not do you any favours. T-Mobile US devices use a different radio than the international devices so flashing a US ROM without having a US radio will lock up your device.
Are you planning on flashing a custom ROM, or official ROM from your network provider?
I am currently downloading the official ROM I found in one of the threads. It says 1.66 - Test Rom (english).
This one to be precise - "World Wide English - TEST rom (WWE) 1.66.405.1 - Direct Link"
Is it ok and will it work with Radio 2.05.51.05_2

Have a look here, I don't like the sound of a 'Test ROM'. Your radio will be compatable with all of those 1.66 ROMs.
Thanks for the link.
I see a more later version of ROM there. I would like to install 2.02 version of ROM as I guess it would be the better than the 1.66 one and hence won't require a lot of updating. When I click on the 2.02 version, I see only 1 link inside that folder. Should I just click on that link for the download to start? And what about the radio version? Is my radio version okay for the 2.02 version?
i should stay away from 2.02 too. in fairly sure that too is a test ROM. u think it even has a watermark.
if you want the latest, why not go for the tmous 2.13 rom?
So which one do you suggest I should download?
I mean are you sure 2.13 will work with my radio version?
And one more thing, when I go to 2.13 ... it says 0 files in the location?

You will have to update your radio to use that ROM. It's a T-Mobile US ROM. I am not too sure if the radio comes bundled with the ROM when you flash an official ROM as I only flash custom. But to be on the safe side flash a radio from here before you flash the ROM. You need to make sure the radio is a 2.07.50.27 NOT a 2.05.51.05_2. It doesn't matter what radio it is aslong as it's a 2.xx.50.xx and not a 2.xx.51.xx, .50 radios are for T-Mobile US ROMs, which is what the 2.xx ROMs are.
I think I will download Radio 2.10.50.8_2 ... I just have to click on the rapid share link, download it ... run it and connect my HD 2 with WMDC to install the radio right?
Also, please suggest how to get the 2.13 rom as there are no files in that folder.

To be honest, if you are going to flash a ROM, I would probably advise trying a custom. That 4shared link doesn't seem to have many decent 2.xx ROMs. I am not too familiar with official ROMs and which is good/no so good.
I am very biased toward Energy ROMs if you click my sig it will direct you to the page, there are many other fantastic ROMs about Artemis is another. Custom ROMs are lighter and much faster than stock ROMs and are obviously installed in exactly the same was as the offcial.
Okay fine, please check as I have sent you a private message. I will download custom ROM only now. Would really appreciate if you help me out through chat.

[Q] Clean WM ROM (based on 3.14) to run Android on T-Mobile HD2

I'm looking for clean (minimal) ROM to use as base for Android ROM. It has to be for T-Mobile HD2 (based on official 3.14 ROM). Most of "clean" ROMs here are for International HD2
Any recommendations ?
Also appreciate advise on dual boot application. Thanks

Not sure what you're talking about but VBN core is 3.14. You can also try OzDroid, both are barebones winmo roms for booting android. I've used both, and they both working flawlessly, very fast and no robo voice in android. I've only recently decided to go to OzDroid because the buttons in WinMo are bigger so it's more touch friendly.
