Radio without headset? / Should I install.. - neoTouch S200 General

Hi guys.
I have a few questions to ask.
1) How do you play radio without using your headset?
2) Should I install the latest ROM given by Acer at their website? (3.0.0.3 or something).
3) Where can I get the PDF viewer for this phone?
4) Where can I get the mobile applications for this phone?
I couldn't find any specific answers for these questions, I really hope someone can help to resolve these issues yeah. Thanks

If your rom is v2.x.x + then you just start radio app and scan for radio stations. Sound will come from the main speakerphone.

Of course. They have fixed a lot of problems (volume level, bluetooth etc)

Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=144167&d=1231371379 (AdobeReader LE 2.5). If it does not work search in XDA and you will find a working version.
It's integrated in my rom so I have no cab.

And every application that works with WVGA screen.

As the headset acts as an additional antenna, sound might be better with the headset. If you click on the headset logo on the right side of the station frequency, sound goes to the main speaker.

BlueSoleil solution..... come check it out !!!

This is a crack for the well know BlueSoleil stack...
all you have to do is to replace the original file with this one.
the file is located in \windows
all credits goes to DR.YAR in mobile4arab.com
I must say... Piracy is against the law, so if u like the program, buy it.
Neither I or DR.YAR are responsible for you downloading this file..
I am not using this file coz I don't use bluetooth that much...and the M$ stack is more than enough for me, but for those who are really in great need for the PAN profile, this would help.
cheers
See http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=18537 re why this might be needed.

Forgive me for not reading through the other BlueSoleil thread, but what's the advantage of this stack over the M$ stack on the JAM?
Does it provide an Audio Gateway for the headset (i.e. Voice Command over Bluetooth, etc.)?
Hi Duke, perhaps Im blind but I couldnt find any crack file in your article. Will you pls. help me? Thx.

first, sorry for not replying so fast... I didn't have much free time lately.
as for ur question...
According to their web site, supported profiles are:
PAN, OPP, SYNC, LAP, DUN, FTP, FAX, HID, SPP, HCRP, BIP, Headset, AV

as for the headset question:
this is the summary of the topic
the stack DOESN'T support HEADSET OR HANDSET PROFILE

it doest support A2DP either .....
the stack isn't that much stable, for it was not designed to work with the magician...
it shows the sender's name BTW.
I hope this will help.
I've installed the BlueSoleil stack without any problem on my MDA Compact. The problem is that neither File Explorer nor Resco File Explorer seem to be compatible with this stack. I cannot send files to another phone using this stack from these programs.
The ony way I found to send, recieve files is through FTP but not all phones support this profile. Is there a solution to this?
And when Bluetooth is switched on, the blue LED does not blink either!

yeah.. all of the things u mentioned are true.
1. FE and Resco are not compatible....
I don't know Why FE is not.. But resco is not compatible for sure.. it supports Widcomm and M$ only, maybe we can contact the developer in order to make a support for the Stack.
The only way - I know - to send using the program is though the manager i self.
2 as for the Blue LED disappearing... well I guess this was reported in the main topic about this Stack...
no solution AFAIK.
Yes I see, sorry. But as I noticed that crack was dedicated to WIN CE. Am I right?
crack seems not working , i replace the exe file in program files and it's doesn't work

Does this stack allow you to hear system sounds through the Bluetooth headset (i.e. listen to audio files through a bluetooth headset)?
The JAM would be perfect if it could I hate carrying around a bluetooth headset and the headphones.
Thanks,

how do I get BT headset to work with tomtom/media player

I've just installed the latestst T-Mob US 2.26 rom...
Is there any tweaks etc that will allow tomtom directions to come through the BT headset rather than speaker phone... it would also be good for listening to music etc via the bt headset...
any ideas anyone?

thats an older version
It sorts the songs correctly, finally.
Man.... You just made me so happy. I have been searching and searching for a version that actually sorted the songs by # instead of title. YOU ROCK.
Now my question is.. why in the world don't they have this version in the ALL HTC APPS thread instead of that older one?
So, for anyone who needs HTC Audio Manager that sorts properly, grab the one linked in this thread.
Thanks again.

Ah, I was just looking for this version, lets keep this thread alive until someone finds that the ALL HTC APPS thread should be fixed. This is something.
yea, I had just upgraded my phone to the GPS enabled version (6800) and had to redownload all my apps... figured i'd see if there just happened to be a version that had the sort figured out... couldn't find one and then saw this one... figured what the hell, might as well try it.

Mine detects them all but refuses to play some of them. Mortplayer plays all my MP3's but Audio Manager just hangs if it doesn't fancy playing it
i have installed the latest audio mgr. however, after playing few mp3s, i notice the music starts to get jerky when i am using my bluetooth stereo. anyone face the same issue?
it says cannot find audio manager or some of its components... why? Help.

Skype Mobile

Im not exactly sure how it ended up on my original build, i think i went to skype.com/m and just downloaded it, but when i do that now (with the new rom) it says "there's no version for your phone"
Is their a way i can get it installed again now that ive flashed a cooked rom? (as i don't see it already in the rom itself.)
As usual, i find the answer soon after making a post.

Problems with Skype mobile
On my phone sky mobile runs only thru loud speaker. Maybe it is a good thing that skype discontinued support for Windows Mobile, no one has to waste time on that crappy thing anymore. I always switch to desktop when I receive or have to make skype calls.
Go to Skype.com and download the .cab file.
can somebody upload the cab file here... skype site is blocked from here, but not the software service... having hardtime to download the cab...thanks in advance
you can still get it from here:
skype (dot) com/intl/en/download/skype/windowsmobile/
but the WM support is according to golem.de deffinetly over now
That's a shame, it was working quite well through a headset...

The download is actually a 10.5MB .exe package, so I can't even zip it up and attach here. If you have e-mail that can accept a file that big, PM me and I'll be happy to get it to you that way
EDIT: I actually have just the .cab too after all...but it's even bigger (11.5MB)

I was really hoping this thread would have said "Hey, skype isn't going through speakerphone anymore on the TP2..." but no such luck. If Skype had no intention of fixing that horrible issue, then I really have no interest in its service on my mobile, anyway. It is disappointing, however, I used to use it on my Blackjack II and it worked great.

But not by itself. You have to use Audioroute (http://www.teksoftco.com/index.php?section=freeware), this program will route any sound either to the earspeaker or backspeaker. Just start it before Skype and you'll be able to use it like doing a regular phonecall.

Thanks, it seems useful, but not really enough. Personally I like to leave Skype active as a second line on the phone... which means I'd have to manually start it before every call (even incoming). If I were to just start it up on occasion to make a call, it'd be an easy Mortscript, but I'll have to see if there is something a little more sophisticated that I can write.
i just used skype today on my TP2 with the sound piped to my bluetooth earpiece. no issue at all and no 3rd party software required

Thanks. Now the only problem is my ear will touch some certain onscreen buttons and get in the way and when I turn the screen off, skype phone conversation stops working. I know a simple earpiece or bluetooth device solves everything but I don't like using neither.
Is there any other way I can turn off the screen and still have a phone conversation on skype?

Whats the dileo on Skype with HD2

Hi,
Is there a Skype version out for the HD2? If so, is the audio fixed where the sound comes out of the external speaker?
Or is audioroute still the go? Honestly I could not get Audioroute to route.
Any guidance?

I don't think Skype is being officially supported on Windows Mobile anymore. I can't post links yet but if you go to skype dot com/intl/en/mobile/ you'll see that only the iPhone and Symbian have download links on the page.
Now that they've sold out to Verizion, I believe going forward only Verizon devices will have official support. That said, there are some very smart people on this forum who may be able to hack it so that it works on WinMo phones .

if you want it to come out of internal speaker you need to use a seperate program along with skype, use the search function on the forum to find the link to the software. skype will not release and more updates for WinMo Skype as they pulled it from their site
