Any Stock Rom v2.02 or later has the 576MB Ram available as far as im aware. The TMob 2.10 stock rom certainly does.

Sorry Sir for my question.
T-Mus 2.02, 2.03, 2.05 2.07, 2.09 and 2.10 are Stock ROMs ?
Please Sir, can you post an official link to download these T-MUS "Stock" ROMs ?

This is the stock T-Mobile 2.10 ROM. It is full of crapware though and it changes your bootsplash to T-Mobile's. It should feature the 576MB unlock.
I've got to stop posting posts without links:
http://www.conflipper.com/shipped/L...dio_Signed_15.34.50.07U_2.08.50.08_2_Ship.exe

Just to make ABSOLUTELY SURE, flash stock roms via active sync and NOT from the microSD Card as it will take off your HardSPL and put SPL2.10 on your device. If this happens you will not be able to reinstall HArdSPL and will not be able to downgrade your SPL if you ever need to send your phone back.
Also if you wish to put back the STOCK splash screen after you flash the TMOBILE Stock Rom then just unzip the attached file and flash via activesync.
Mark.

But 2.02 and higher builds are only T-Mob isn't?
I wonder when HTC is going to give us a official rom which enables 576MB Ram.

Can't you just flash any stock rom and using the custom RUU, flash the radio version that enables the 576 Ram, as long as you have HSPL? via activesync

You can, but only the T-Mobile ones have it enabled - other ROMs will still show 448MB RAM

Sure, but any ROM with the right radio will unlock the RAM, I've done that with 1.66 version.

The Rom has to have the right packages ALONG with a compatable radio to enable the 576MB Ram you cant just use anything. What 1.66 Rom did you flash that you could enable 576Ram on? Was it a stock rom with no alterations?

HAPPY 5000 POSTS MATE!!!
I really dont know whats going on with the Rom versions right now. You are right, all 2.02 and higher Roms are TMOBILE so I dont think HTC will ever officially release a 576MB enabled Rom.
I dont even think theres an officially released Rom from TMOBILE yet. I wonder what version the american HD2's are being shipped with. I very much doubt any of them have 2.02 or higher on them.
Maybe they only build them for chefs to get their hands on and make them better

Any ROM will show 576 RAM with the respective radio flashed.

you need to use the nk.exe (oemxip) from a 2.XX-rom and one of the 2.XX radio roms to get 576mb ram.

Think so, I flashed HSPL 2.08 and the ROM still worked....
So everything should be fine. Only issue is, that it probably has SPL 0.67/76.
And Dunno if the HSPL app allowes you to upgrade it, so don't flash with sd card!!

OK, thanks. I'm dumping the rom right now.... I'm very curious to see what has been changed. Maybe there are some goodies which they decided to left out in the final ship version (like what was the case with the tmous e-reader tab, although i think this tab was left out because they finally choose for Barnes and Noble and not for Borders)

Well this ROM doesn't support Twitter.
Twitter was something HTC added in the last minit.
Also no Opera.
Only thing cool about this ROM is the speed and graphic smoothness.
There is also a WWE version of this ROM, but don't have it

You're right graphics are very smooth. Speed is OK.
What I like the most of this rom is the way the internal speaker sounds!!! Way much better than what is the case with the new roms. Anybody any idea what sould be done to "port" the sound drivers of this rom to a new custom rom? (which files should i look for?)

What difference can I expect to see with 576MB ram?

Hi all,
I've searched but I think my answers are lost in the void of a 5000 page long thread!
All I want to know is, in simple terms, what can I expect to be different flashing with a rom that enables 576mb ram?
I'm currently using a slightly older version of CleanEX (1.54 I believe) which is based on 1.72 and doesn't enable any extra ram. I'm using a 2.09 radio which again wouldn't enable it.
I like the combination I have now, but it's been a few weeks since I last flashed and well... I'm craving some modding!
I've been very happy with the CleanEX series rom, it's fast/stable and doesn't detract much from a stock 6.5 stock rom at all, only fixes its bugs. Chances are I'd flash with the newer 4.28 CleanEX rom and a newer 2.10 radio which enables the extra ram.
Thanks in advance!
no difference. things don't run faster with more ram you can just do more at the same time, however the leo is tough to max out the ram anyway.
slight correction... the 2.09.50radio will unlock the ram.. any radio with .50. in the version will.(assuming the correct rom too)

He wants 576Mb using a stock ROM. And no it's not possible as far as I know, you need to flash a custom ROM with 576Mbs enabled.
the only stock roms with the 576 are the tmous 2.x stock roms.
yes you can flash a tmous stock rom to a normal leo, but you need hspl.

no hspl for run android?

is HSPL needed to run android in hd2?
Do you think this is the right thread for 'question'?
Normally HSPL is needed because you need to flash the radio rom suitable to run android.
as long u using 3rd party rom u need it..
I don't believe it is "needed" to simply run Android. Now if you want it as your daily OS, I would strongly suggest it. You will be able to flash the recommended Radio / ROM combination so that you get the most functional build possible.
Without the right radio or ROM, you will have some unwelcome bugs.

since the day i bought hd2 until now it never been hspl yet in other word it still original official hd2 rom, here the descriptions:
os: 5.2.21869
manila: 2.5.19211619.0
rom: 1.66.707.1
radio: 2.07.51.22_2
protocol: 15.32.50.07u
I have stock T-Mobile US HD2 and I have not put HSPL or anything... it's even GSM locked to the carrier...
I managed to get FroyoStone series to work just fine; mccm build FRG33 and FRG 83 build as well... besides that I did try some builds like shubcraft or whatever the name is and it did not want to work due to screen freezes - so I just went back to mccm 1.5

anyway our advice is already stated there..
u want to install or not is depend on u..
any brick on ur phone will be responsible by urself..
You can run Android on a stock phone, but just be ready for any of the various annoyances with doing so, most common is audio issues like robot voice during calls. I tried it on stock Tmous HD2 for a while before finally loading up custom roms.
You might get lucky and not have the issues.
