Different screens/skins at incoming/outgoing calls at i8000 - Omnia II General

Hey there...
got my Omnia II just 2 weeks ago (T-Mobile Germany). And I installed SPB Mobile Shell and everything works fine, but there's a little "beauty error" (hope this is the right word)...
I think outgoing calls use the beautiful black WinMo-Theme/-Skin and incoming calls will use the colorful Samsung-(?)-Theme/Skin (With a green and red slider for Accept and Decline)... But ONLY if the phone is locket (Display is off). If it's unlocked and there's an incoming call you'll see the white "Windows-Popup"...
Any ideas how I could change that?
Thank you!
Greetings,
Alex

XDA2 Strange text !

Hi all. I am a newby so please be gentle.
I bought a secondhand XDA2 which unfortunatly had a broken off switch. I have repaired the switch but now I have some very strange text ( looks like a 3D effect). All the text is black except for letters with a verticle line (LlKkIiN etc). On the today screen these are in red and in normal text they are blue. All is ok in italics. I have checked all the connections and they seem fine. Any thoughts?
Cheers

Are there suppose to be lights on the MDA???

Hello,
I just got an MDA from t-mobile off of Ebay. I was able to unlock it and everything seems to be working fine.
I am just wondering if the "messaging", "internet explorer” and the two buttons above the call and end buttons are suppose to light up. It looks as if they are suppose to, but they are not on mine.. Is there a setting or something I need to do???
Thank you all again for your help!!!
They don't light up unfortunately.

'Pocket dialing' major problem

I've got a new T-Mo HD2, and I'm having a problem that either after a call (I use BT headset alot) or when an alarm sounds, the HD is active long enough to dial numbers and/or for instance compose a senseless text, meaning the screen can be touched and activate functions during this time. An ideal solution woudl be for the proximity sensor to disable the screen all the time, not just during a call. Fallback woudl be for these functions not to activate a live screen after the phone has been locked. Tried searching, no obvious answer to this one. Thanks in advance.

I use PocketShield. It works like a charm. I never have to worry about the problem you described above.

Good luck!

Thanks Peter, this looks like what I was asking for, except that it is paid...;-(
I was wondering if there was a free fix, and/or if this was a common problem (seems like it would be). I'll download the demo and see how it goes.
Thanks,
Dave
