Hi! I have a htc magic 1.6 (swisscom) and i would like to know is there a way to update my sense ui! I've visited htc site,entered a s/n and it sad my phone is not supported! Is there another way to update this branded magic? Or...can i install a hero ROM on it?

From what I know, the Swisscom Magic is a 32B and will therefore never get a Sense UI upgrade. You'll have to install a custom Dream/32B ROM if you want it. Check the Dream forums.
there is an 2.0 update coming in 2nd quarter of 2010 for ''google'' magic

official update only for the htc magic sold by italian operator noverca. it should be a 32a, i don't know for sure because i own a n1. maybe some chef could extract the sense interface and port it to 32b & other operator device. here is the link : w*w.noverca.it/downloads/HTC_Sense_Noverca.zip

Do i need a different ROM or can this be installed with Cyanogenmod?
I tried to download the HTC android phone rom update utility from the htc site but it says Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device.

By reading The ROM Bible, finding a 32b rom, maybe read a little about the rom, download, do a nandroid backup and then flash away.

do you know what is your sapphire? if it is a 32a or 32b?
If you have a 32b sapphire, yes. If you have an old radio 32a, you might have to flash a kernel. New radio, idk.
I know that rom works on the 32b sapphire, I test it on mine before I release.
