i'm testing the rom right now and i will give a reaction in this forus a.s.p i know what is better in this rom. I hope the Battery live will be longer, because in the rom 2.94.90 the battery drains verry fast.

I hate to ask a noob question, but....
Why should I upgrade the GSM radio?
Downloaded and flashed perfectly, cheers Pof.
A basic reason for upgrading the radio rom is that it helps make calls clearer, fixes a few (not sure of any) bugs and generally increases battery life when making calls etc.

I think clear sound and the battery drains less than radio 2.94.90.

Chasing the dragon?
Is there any point chasing the numbers game? Just because one of the numbers is higher doesn't mean the software is any newer!
Take a look at the WM6 upgrades from O2 for DE and UK, released at the same time. It is obvious which parts of the numbering are region codes and which are software "versions".
RUU_Artemis_O2_DE_3.4.207.2_4.1.13.41_02.88.90_Ship.exe
RUU_Artemis_O2_UK_3.4.206.2_4.1.13.28_02.67.90_Ship.exe
i.e.
both are OS 3.4.xxx.2
both are Protocol 4.1.13.xx
both are GSM 02.xx.90
So as far as I can see, GSM 02.94.90 would be exactly the same version as 02.95.90, just for a different network provider or geographical region? No doubt they have to keep track this way as each "flavour" will need to be certified individually by each regional provider.
I have radio 02.94.90 and i tried to upgrade 02.95.90 but i received the message "file is corrupted". Someone can help me?

My radio version seems to be the original 02.67.90 (protocol 4.1.13.28).
Should I update to radio version 02.97.90?
What would be the advantage of this update?
Is there a possibility to backup my old, original radio version before updating to a new version?

I've just now done an upgrade (Second Methode Type I) from 1.13.00 to 1.15.00 with no problem.

I was talking about the error message, not the Rom itself.
is there any mistake? How can we use Hermes radion on BA? Pls clarify.....
It is inpossible to use Hermes radio on BA because of the difrend hardware, if you somehow manage to flash hermes radio to BA you may loose the gsm module forever

For me the device works perfect. No BT problems, no weird sounds, good quality pictures, camera ok, good network coverage, wi-fi, etc.
I'm looking for somebody that could explain me the complete process to dump the ROM and Radio and create the RUU_signed.nbh ready to flash like the cooked ROM's or Radios. I now there's a thread talking about this but is a bit confusing... 4 rar files, etc... my english is not the best.
If somebody want to help me, I could dump it and upload the Radio and ROM... maybe this could help somebody to solve some problems.

1.64 is from other HTC phone with same radio hardware module ( I forget the type). But radio ROM should cowork with protocol version. Therefore 1.58.x is best for Polaris, please dump your radio ROM

To solve my problem I tried the 1.58.21.23 and it did not work while I was in USA, then I came back home in Spain and the only thing I did, was reputting the service center nr. by hand (but this I did it before too) AND I put the +34 in front of the 177 the voice mail number ... and IT WORKS NOW a very strange thing ...
another thing I do not understand, the newest Radio ROM for Polaris seems to be the 1.58.26.20 (it has the highest number) but in this post a colleague from PT says he has the newest, but it is a lower number ...
I really feel lost ... can you explain a bit more?

1.64.XX.XX radios which are from kaiser aswell.

Currently I use this version too (for WWE).
But before flash to WWE, original shipped radio ROM
1.58.25.21_sign_25.69.30.05 is better in usage as I remember.
Therefore, please dump radio and upload, guys~

I flash this Radio. It's worked perfect. GPS and GSM signal are very good. Much better than 1.58.25.14 or 1.58.21.23 And camera work great.

Signal = Good..not got signal lost at this moment (GPRS Full HSDPA 2lines of Signal= good at my place )
Batterydrain = Not verry much drain..1 1/2 day with HSDPA internet connection
Camera = Works fine (not in the dark)
GPSfix = Looks like it was faster than normal.
No phone drops and everything works stil good.
So in overall looks verry good
Tested with c_shekhar rom with footprints in the Netherlands T-Mobile HSDPA & 3G

In this package there is the rom of C_Shekhar and also the Radio Rom.
At this moment in my opinion this is the best rom and radio rom.

I have it from the vlite V rom, very very fast gps signail, wothin 10sec or so. and good radio signal. better pbattery life as the radio that came with udK rom's

Does not work with udK R7. Try 1.59.xx.xx radios only with udK R7. Best of Luck ....!!

Try to first flash the official rom from the HTC site..without a SD card and simcard in your device.
After that you flash the C_shekhar rom.
And after that you flash the radio rom 1.58.32.33 from my package.
Than it should work fine again..if not your device isn't comming back to normal anymore i think..than you can better bring back your device to its original state and try to let HTC fix it.
Because the murata radio wil not work also.
