[ROM][WWE][WM6.5.0][21895] freyberryROM.V8.0 - clean and fast ROM [11.03.2010]

This is a clean WM6.5 (build 21895) ROM that's very close to stock, but with the newest software (inlcuding Sense 2012 with landscape support):
Two versions:
- premium: This is like the stock ROM, with Sense and with HTC Messaging.
- premium_nomess: This is like premium, but without HTC Messaging
Please read the whole post for important information. You won't regret it!
The ROMs are kept very close to stock (Leo 2.10 packages). I try to make them stable and fast, no 'bloatware'.
Sense is fully Landscape enabled!
However, you have to change one registry key to prevent the music and pictures tab from rotating. Read the 'problems and solutions' section at the bottom of this post on how to make it work in landscape without issues!

im gonna give this rom a go, havnt liked 6.5.5 and 6.5.3 on previous roms ( non frey'b ) due to visual issues but it looks like this is a 6.5...;-)
im eager to see if footprints works without crashing as i find once footprints gets a gps fix and i press to take a photo it just crashes on my current rom.
also is this 576 meg ram capable ? and if so does the relevant radio work in the uk or is that radio just for the us at the moment ?

No, the RAM is not enabled. That only creates problems and doesn't improve anything, because it's practically impossible already to fill the 448MB.
There's no point in enabling RAM you'll never use anyway.

on the subject of memory i always find it hard to work out whats what on htc devices as when you go into settings and add up the program and storage memory it never adds up to the ammount that it should.
ie. "storage 230 mb" - "program 337 mb" = "567 mb" ( Standard HD2 )
im sure theres a reason im missing that explains this in the Q & A somewhere.
anyways - point taken with regard to the stock ram being plenty .

Internal ROM (storage) is 512MB. The reason why it displays less than that is because some is taken by the system.
Same for RAM (program): It's 448MB, but displays only 3xxMB, because some is taken by the system.

Bu default the region is hungarian. Go to settings - menu - all settings - system - regional settings, change to your preffered region and mon tue wed will come back

Yes 23534 is under testing, so it will be up soon, but in my other ROM thread (you can find it in my signature)

My Second ROM i am posting on this forum.i am not going to give it a fancy name or claim hacks that are not there or such.i am simply cooking my ROMs for me and my friends to be fast, clean and ready for everyday use for longer time.i do not want to be flashing ROM every day so i do it once and then use it for some time until next significant update release by HTC.i have tested this ROM with my friends for few days and couldn't find any bugs.So i decided to share with this great community.
As base for this ROM i used latest 2.10 T Mobile USA ROM version and i did a lot of modifications to make it faster and i did some registry changes too.Do not ask me what exactly cos it is a long list.i have used Manila 2.5.2121412.1 (latest one).so if you're looking for full landscape this is not ROM for you.PLEASE USE LATEST RADIOS FROM Tmobile ROMS WITH THIS ROM!

WKTask Manager - for me this is the best one.i did some optimizations so it is usable on WM 6.5
SP Time Sync - very small and useful app to get time from internet

Go into quickmenu and check the settings on the first page. startmenu-quickmenu-options. Check the options on the first tab, "General". Running my sense 2.5.2014 rom atm...

I do not follow. I clicked the start but i do not see quick menu. I am running the latest 23569 version....thx

OK so I found it but the check box is already checked. However when I open any application, the X button still does not close the program completely but lets it run in the background. I guess that is a bug. Well am still playing with the ROM and loving it so far

I didn't make a 23569 for MobileShell... If your running the Sense rom, then touch in the upper right hand corner for the quickmenu menu.

It was the sense rom i downloaded...i.e. rstg_hd2_TMOUS_Sense25_23569T_14. Sorry about the confusion. However it has been set to close applications with a short press of the x button but that still does not work. Any ideas?.....thx

the dload package is almost 230MB... whats it packed with?

The stuff you need to flash it, and the ruu_signed.nbh. Which is 254mb in size. Anyone can cook a clean rom, I like to add stuff to it. Don't worry, you still have bookoo free memory...

Hi! I just loaded your ROM and the few changes I've seen you made are SICK!!! (that's a good thing, don't worry ) The HTC Hub is very nice. I used to hide it because it was so bland and boring. Also the wallpapers you loaded are the first I haven't wanted to delete LOL My main curiosity is where is the screen you show in your 5th screen capture? Where it says "My Menu" and "My Settings"...I'm not seeing that anywhere. My secondary, minor curiosity is on the HTC Hub live tile I guess it's showing tiny icons of the featured apps...can I get rid of that somewhere? It kind of clutters up the tile...
High five for allowing TouchXplorer and Registry Editor to work as well as adding in the Blackberry notifiers...the HTC/Windows tones were so faint and wimpy unless you had the volume cranked up to the max. I'm not done playing around yet so if I see something else that's a concern or kudos I'll definitely be back here to let you know if it's not already known.
You'll be my ultimate ROM hero if you help me with the things I mentioned above (how I can get rid of the tiny featured app icons from the HTC Hub live tile and get me that nice menu in the 5th screen shot)
Oh yeah-- and if it's possible...maybe in a future release add that "instant resuming" feature. Not sure if it's proprietary to the Infinity ROM but that would make this ROM 100% perfect for me Thanks again for cooking up this excellent piece of ROM'age lol
