HI Team,
I am facing a very weird issue in my omnia 2 and would really be grateful if any of the experts here could help me sort this out. I have recently bought an omnia 2. In my Omnia 2 Samsung UI Main Menu Icons have lost their pics and i can see are the fonts. I was tweaking around with my phone when this stuff accidentally happened. On checking the phone it seems that i do have those icons and they work with any ui that i install but the pics of the icons just dont show up at all in the samsung UI main menu and in the others screen in that menu. If someone could help me rectify this without a flash it would really be great as I too want to know how do we rectify such issues on the phone.
Guys any help would be really appreciated. Even if someone can tell me where does the UI pick up the icons from it could be of great help

You dont have to flash. Create a backup with SPB backup to your storage card. Reset/Format and restore the backup.
You can spend more time explaining/trying or spend 1 hour and all is well.
See i will tell you whats the issue theoretically. In the registry there is a command given for the file which will show these icons. It might be missing there. All someone needs to help me is by telling me where is that string in the registry and what string should i replace it with. There are tons of expert modders out here who can help

I have been exploring various contact managers and i really enjoy funcontact, my biggest problem is the lack of customization. I found out where the original icons were and tried to modify them and after i was done and reset my phone the program started to load and then there was an error that said no skins found please reinstall......i was wondering if anyone knows how to modify or create skins for this program.....any response would be appreciated

Hi all. I have recently purchase the Touch diamond and have really been enjoying the funcitonality of it, although I am getting bored of the themes and games available.
A friend of mine told me about the site and you guys really seem to know what is going on. I have done a little research on new themes etc and there are a few things I want to ask, before of course asking for help
Firstly, I heard about something called flashing. I have no idea what it is but apparently it is quite a good way to upgrade the standard phone. Could anyone explain flashing to me?
And secondly, could anyone give me an idea or even an example of how to change the themes on my diamond by either flashing or by using a theme configuring programme etc. The help would be greatly appreciated.
Im new to this forum, never done much messing about with smart phones I get by with pcs.
I got an x1i yesterday so far ive got TF3D working installed a couple of panels, xperia tweak. I installed diamond tf3d config and i keep getting an unexpected error when i try to open it. Everything else im relatively happy with. But at the moment im unable to change backgrounds or themes, if someone has the time i would really appreciate an idiots guide to changing themes and backgrounds on tf3d. And i mean idiots guide, I have looked for a guide but the one i found kept getting a 404.
So from start to finish if you have the time or patience thanks, any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance
Changing backgrounds in TF3d is easy, just go to the settings tab and hit wallpaper, then search for the pic you want on your phone and select it.
If your looking for wallpapers you can start with my thread HERE, these are all formated to fit TF3d nicely.
to get the background to show up in all tabs, I recommend using mun_rus's mUn background4allpages.cab There are also several applications out there for further modding your phones appearance, I suggest using the Forum's Search feature, your bound to find some useful info.

Yeh, go into the install folder and delete the file tweaks.xml then run the app again. will work now

I'm just about exactly where I want to be with my HD2, and I'm seriously LOVING it, however the one thing I DON'T love is the taskbar icons being extremely plain, and without color.
What I would ideally like to see is my Windows icon on the upper right resemble that of Windows Vista / 7, and to change the other icons too. I've seen this done before but no matter where I'm searching I can't figure out how to do it!
Would anyone be able to help me with this? Any contributions and feedback would be IMMENSELY appreciated!

you have to edit .dll files which is way above my head. Your best bet is to head over to the themes section and look at what's available.
Yeah, editing .dlls is way above my head, too, but if worse comes to absolute worst then I might just have to do that, I was just hoping there would have been an easier way to go about changing them.

I hope this is the right spot for this. I've search and so far not found the answer I am hoping to find.
I have a series of GPS devices (Trimble) with Windows Mobile 6.1 on them that I'm setting up for our field crews. I'm in the process of setting them up to be universal in the settings so anyone can grab and use any device without trying to figure out where everything is again.
Is there a way that I can lock down these devices where the field guys can't go back behind me, once I've made them universal, and change everything around? Or do you all have any suggestions on things that may help me with this? I'm thinking along the lines from wallpapers and customizations and even down to changing owner information. I'd just like to keep these similar and not let them get out of control and messy, if you know what I mean.
