all i want is to have the same background on all tabs and to have a transparent slider.
I've been looking for this like a crazy person and tried at least 5 different cabs and none work.
Any one can help me out

I think i can help you.I was searching for background on all tabs by yesterday
Try hd wall.You will get a result better than you want.
1-Just drag and drop your desired wallpaper for portrait mode
2-Then press landscape on the ta-op then drag and drop a wallpaper fits your landscape mode.
3-Click config and choose your appropriate Manila version then come back
4-Click create cab then choose both "include portrait wallpaper" and "include landscape wallpaper" then press convert button.That conversion porcess will take approximately 2 minutes.
5-Don't forget to consider where you want your cab file to be created checking the option on the top right.
6-And give a name in application title
7-You are ready to go.Press create cab and your cab will be created to the folder you chose so transfer it to your ppc and install then restart.This solved my problem.
And here is the cab to give your slider glass look

1) Is the cab I attached below one of the ones you've already tried?
2) If you've followed the steps above to install one of the HDWalls wallpapers, and it appears everywhere but your home tab, then you need to just follow the instructions HERE (it's a common thing for people to have to apply those steps when using HDWalls wallpapers)
whenever i've tried to install that BG for all pages wvga.cab file, it messes up my clock display. the clock get's huge & i can even read it. am i doing something wrong? i'm on Verizon & running Windows Mobile 6.5.

i was using the BG for all pages cap greatly on my tp2 when it was 6.1 WM but when i upgraded to 6.5 with the new clock with weather in it , it work but after it destroy the clock and make the weather disapear !!!!

You can skip the weather animation, but thank you...I don't think it will work with my 6.1 ROM (or am I wrong..?)

it's no possibile with a digital clock?
I try to install this cab, clock appear at center of the home tab, but the background in others tab is now black with a white square a corner!
now i must restore my last backup...

also for those wanting to get the file so you can have a look, the only way i managed to get the file off my device was to changing my computers folder view settings to show "all hidden system files" and "Show all protected operating system files" then to connect through active sync, and search the windows dir on my device (which took F'in ages!! so be warned if you try!!!) using windows explorer, and then copying it to desktop.
I have tryed the analogue clock approach HERE found i had the problems shown by the screenshots and posted for help 7 or 8 times.
it seems people wont help at all when it comes to this!!
i hope the info i provided gets a solution for this irritating problem

Well, the easiest way i could think of, if u do not want to have the call hist/cal/clock on the Today screen, is to dl any analog clock, extract the manila files, replace the clock images with transparent ones using Manila Editor, and finally copying all those files to the windows folder in ure device.

so am i correct in thinking that if i add the manilas from this cab and added them to what i already have i will end up with a homescreen with nothing on it!!

Sorry, I can't found on my windows the file '7e640092_manila' (xml language file) for edit the text for the different entries on the home tab i have a italian rom where i search it?

I don't still try it, but I understand that this mod delete text and icons, but "commands" stay there. is there a solution for no commands when you press where the text is been deleted?

yikes, it seems u kinda misunderstood wat the cab file does. All it does is remove the white dotted lines between the call history & calendar texts. dats y she posted further instructions to remove the remaining call hist / calendar icons & text.
Anyway, just found out dat on the next page lies the "clean_startseite_custom.cab" file, courtesy of Elvelynn, which shd clean up the home screen, and if u have installed the "clean_startseite_tf3d.cab", be sure to uninstall dat first b4 installing this cab. of course, theres no guarantees it will work on ure device, so a backup might come in handy for some folks

i try to modify these manila files with nothing and then with some space, but when i reopen tf3d the text is still there!

according to the author of the cab file, it does wat the instructions say in the first link i posted here, i.e. it removes the dotted lines & the call hist / calendar icons and text, and the clock background becomes transparent. it also seems dat if u use the default WinMo alarm clock, the alarm time will still be displayed in ure home screen.
u could just backup ure 1bbfdc9b, 7e640092, 4820c63b, 6aec5f68 and 74ddfccb manila files, which is wat this cab file replaces.
the Keys in xml files should be
IDS_NOAPPOINTMENTS
IDS_CALENDAR
IDS_NOMISSEDCALL
But for italian language there isn't a manila file that have these keys...

I'm near to solution
in file 1c684cd8_manila you can change the font color (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2749452#post2749452) and I try to modify in this file the font size!
I find:
- " F o n t S i z e "GJ $ " for the size of Call registry and calendar
- " S i z e "GJ p " for the space where texts are..
But if you go in hex (for font size) and change 24 to 00 the tf3d don't start...
If you set it to 01 you see only a simple line, but the space of selection stay there and i don't find a solution to remove it, changing the number of hex in S i z e nothing happen...

you probably didnt do anything wrong, it messes up a lot of peoples phones i think.
There are themes out there that have the background in all the tabs, i have installed a few of them and never had any of the problems i had with the cab file.

That works great on each tab, except home where i don't have anything. Just the wallpaper an top and bottom curtain. But no clock, no calendar, no more missed calls .....

Yes. A theme i downloaded here. Speed black i guess.
In fact each time i go back on the home tab, it keeps the spft key of the previous tab. And still no clock or calls/ calendar.

Its mun_rus's mode9 file, but with my image embedded into the manila file. I used manila editor to change that.
Im running dutty's V4 rom with no changes to manila and it works perfectly.

I tried Milillicuti's_Background.cab which was nice then tried to edit the cab file with my own wallpaper, maybe i dont know what Im doing but it stays as the same wallpaper and the big question is HOW do i remove file to go back to the default setting.

How do I uninstall this?! I installed and thought I could have my own custom wallpaper set as bg for all tabs.. DAMN!

i have a bette rquestion ? how to remove bckgrounds from the tabs? i have installed a rom, wwe george for my diamond but i dont like to have the same background for all tabs. I want the standard bckground for all tabs, just to change for the first, home screen.

TF3D Neon Tabs Theme
Still development in progress but so far I have managed to get the actual TF3D tabs to be in a type of "Neon" scheme.
I will be working heavily on this trying to go through all icons in TF3D making them Neon so there will be many updates to follow making this simply perfect.
Feedback more than welcome and opinions probably will be worked in.
Please note, people have confirmed this works on....

If you do try this on any other phone, please let me know the outcome, I should be able to adapt the files to work on any phone in theory
The Cab file is fully un-installable so if you don't like them, just remove the program in Remove Programs and you're back to normal.

hi everyboby, sorry maybie i make a mistake by posting here, but i got a little problem, when i extract the file i didint see any cab file, even when i put it on my storage card ,i can only see a setup, then double clic, and going straight to open a web page and nothing else, i did some reseach to know how to install the cab, can soemeone please help me about that i am totaly knew in wm, i got the tp2 answsome mobile, and i really like this forum, sorry mod maybie this is the wrong place to post , but really need advise pls .

There is no need to extract the file, it's a cab anyway.
Just copy the file to your phone and open it -it installs itself.

The slide part, the button that you hold to move and slide, the "block". Can't think what its called but its the rectangle block that you slide from left to right.

Looks good, I want it to be a bit narrower though I think, not 100% sure yet, haven't made my mind up. Think I'll have a play around and might incorporate it in my icon set.

Updated icons to include people section and also added transparent slider and transparent bottom curtains in so no need for extra installs.

Hi there, just want to say it works on my Touch HD Unfortunately I am using a chinese rom (Devilstone v3.7 with TouchFLO 34 2.1.38158.2), so I am not too sure if it will work with other cooked romr, just give it a try I guess~

I downloaded a hd wallpaper but it doesnt work. Some how touchflo 3D Wont let me. i tryed downloading the phm registry editor but they dont work... can someone please help me walk through this.. im new to the touch pro 2

please explain what u did and already tried to make it display. using regedit isnt usefull at all. just place the wallpaper in a folder on your storagecard , then go to settings, click on personalize,and then select hometab wallpaper, you can now select the wallpaper of your choice. this is the most common way to change your wallpaper. also you can go to; settings,today, click on "use this picture" and then hit the browse button. hope this helps you. please also state wich rom u use ( i think stock as your new to the tp2 lik eu said)

is what he is referring to. In which case you have to turn off TF3D when you install the CAB.
Also, you need to change three registry values to make it so you can see the wallpaper on the Home Tab. They explain it pretty clearly on the forum page though. Not sure what you're having trouble with.
i turned off the tf3d.. and the home page on the phone is blank. i mean the wallpaper i selected works on the other tab windows but not on the home tab.

What program are you using to change the icons?
I have been using cfc-gui to change my icons and they are grouped together depending on what they are (i.e. - tray, hero, people screen, weather screen, etc.).
Are you trying to change your "tray" and "hero" icons or icons within each tab?

Start>Settings>System>Remove Programs
Select a program and click "Remove" in the bottom right hand of the screen.

It depends on the cabs. Some people change all of them and some only change some. For instance, my cab that I have installed doesn't change the photo, music, or AT&T tabs because I didn't include them in the changes.

Reason he intalled diferent themes on top of others so soon he uninstalles one wen he gos for the next on there will be an error cause windows will not find a second backup of the original.
Sorry to tell you but you need to hard reset your device.
for anyone trying to modify there manila icons.
Use CFC Gui.
Intructions easy way.
Connect you phone on Sync to you device start CFC GUI should be a options to extract all manila files from you phone.
After that you will see all kind of images change the one you want then send it to you phone from CFC GUI more instruction on CFC Gui threat.

So it won't just uninstall what it can "find" and not worry about what it doesn't?
Also, when unintalling a program/theme, how does it know what to revert back to? Are the original files not overwritten/deleted?
