Hey, I have a O2 branded German htc called XDA.
I cannot change mms and internet settings(Vodafone customer)...so what can I do??

Greetings, first iam german^^ so i read the threads around but i dont understand really who i can do it?
So what i have is an O2 XDA Orbit, i make an update from german WM5 to german WM6 with the original rom from O2.
But the O2 preferences sucks and i want a XDA without anything from O2, exspeciely because i have an Vodafone Sim pluged in.

So can anybody post an German WM6 Rom for an O2 XDA Orbit???
And what does it means with the CID Check?

Simply download the official German O2 WM6 ROM update and run that, hard reset after flashing, then when it says "Customising in 3 seconds" or the German equivalent, soft reset.
You will have a non o2'd WM6 ROM
hi there, sorry for language failures im from germany...
last week ive bought a htc p4350 device and want to use it with my vodafone card, but i cant use vodafone live nor mms. ive read in some googel links that the htc herald and vpa c. 4 are the same devices. do you know where i can get the right vodafone settings.cab for my device. i cant find it on the vodafone homepage, only a pdf file which describes how to configure it manually but those settings wont work with the htc version...

Hi, I had a HTC vox previous to my X1 and on my HTC I had to unlock some security thing so that cabs can be installed.
Is it the same situation on the X1?? I bought mine from Vodafone (UK).
