hi all - i just installed the new 1.66 rom from the uk support site and the htc music player is gone! so the only way to listen to music is via the crappy windows music player. did anyone else see this and is there a way to get the htc music player back?

i currently have a 6.5 rom flashed on my phone and i would like to play my music over the new today screen mediaplayer-plugin.
so i was wondering if there is some sort of codec pack for the winmo crap media player, cause somehow i ain't able to play any type of .mp3's with it.
or is it possible to change the media player in registry?
Anyone else have this same problem ?
I'm refering to the Touch HD's music player, not the Windows Media Player.. The display and all that are awesome and I'd love to use the albumart function because I'm using the same thing on my PC but the WMP doesnt have that.
Playback is workable but it stops after awhile. And all the audio will be gone and I'd need to restart the device for the sounds to come back. Anyone have a fix for this?

Probably you installed app for play/stop/next song by headset button??? If yes, just uninstall it
There is a hot fix on the HTC website that may apply if you already have not put it on.
Hey guys, quick question. I have the TMOUS HD2 and I was wondering if there is a way to connect the HTC Sense default music player to the stock Windows Mobile one. I ask this because when I workout, I enjoy using the MSVC voice control feature of the media player, but when I activate it from my BT headset, it says "No Media Found". I know i can deal with WMP, but it a hassle to keep updating the library, every-time I put a couple of new songs on the device, and I do prefer the look of the Sense media player. So I was wondering if anyone else knows of a program or reg edit to connect the 2 together.

hello all,here is my problem.I own a jabra bt hands free and i use it to listen music too.So when i use stock rom when i press play at hand free i instantly listen music from manila's player.I flashed a nice 6.5 rom and now when i press play at hands free windows media player opens which is very annoying cause i have to choose playlist all over again.I want the manila's player to be the default player when i use my bt hands free.Any ideas?

Its the Android music player I think I still don't under stand what sense is when I first got the phone I flushed the Vodafone software and installed 2.2.1 Android....its the music player with the green music note as a icon. Can you please help me
