I have decided to make a cab for those of us who have T-Mobile and woudn't
mind checking on our account status now and again.
I've just started to venture in to the world of the custom roms for the Rodium
and noticed they did not have this little handy app.... so with out any further ado this is for yoU

I will update when newer comes out
ps: This has only been tried and tested on Touch-IT Rhodium 6.5-23053
so please let me know if you are having any issue with this app on any other ROM

Thank you for the appreciation sorry i could not do something(i tried to use File Editor Suite to edit it the .exe but, was only able to edit the icons. I try to hex edit the .exe but i was lost..
IF ANYONE KNOWs HOW TO FIX THIS(I think some how thorough hexing it)PLEASE FEEL FREE TO INLIGHIN METhanks.

Yes please someone fix this. I went into regi files with total commander but I can't figure out which ones call T-Mobile to retrieve the info

I uninstalled, soft reset and reinstalled it to try again but it does not work
I can't think of anything why it would not work.

Does the My Account program use the SIM card to call T-Mobile? Maybe something is missing from my SIM.....like a number??? My SIM card has the #646# (Check my minutes) and (check text usage)... Does the My Account use that?

No problem,
One way to find out.. If its your SIM or not... Flash to another ROM and see if MyAccount works.. Use any one, mine or his there basically the same(i extracted mines from the dump of my phone).... Just my taxi was a little faster

I have searched for 2 days now I find lots of questions but it's like a town hall debate, no one answers the question at hand. Do Alltel touch users flash Verizon Cabs on their phones for NSFFANs WM6.5?
AND
WHERE THE HECK do I find the older NSFFAN roms for the 6900 like v13?
I'm stuck in my location for the next few days guys and only operating on a 9" screen, If I missed something in the COPIUS amounts of material I have reviewed I apologize. But any Answers/Links would be GREATLY appreciated.

As an Alltel customer absorbed into Verizon, I might can help.
1. No, you do not install Verizon cabs, keep installing Alltel cabs. Install the Alltel DCD cab, and then for MMS install the two Arcsoft cabs. Both can be found in Post #3 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=508544
Also, if you want your GPS to work, you need to install the Alltel Provisioning cab found on NFSFAN's page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432487
Most of this stuff can be found on the Vogue > Vogue upgrading etc. page, rather than the Vogue > Vogue page.
If I were you, I would just go ahead and flash NFSFAN's v1.00 of his newly Stable Windows Mobile 6.5 release found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432487
After that my steps are
1. Install Alltel DCD carrier cab, then turn phone off and back on
2. Install Alltel Provisioning cab, then turn phone off and back on
3. Install Arcsoft MMS cab v3, then turn phone off and back on
4. Instal Arcsoft MMS cab v5, then turn phone off and back on
5. Dial *228, use option 1 to program your phone.
After all that, mine will start working with Phone, Data, MMS, and GPS.
Also, if you want your weather clock to work on TouchFlo, you have to follow the VERY specific instructions on NFSFAN's 6.5 page along with downloading the CDMA Weather Clock fix cab. Otherwise it will only be a clock with "Touch Here to Update" underneath it.
These steps, while probably not the prescribed method, have always worked for me through all of NFSFAN's builds from v13 on.
As far as getting a hold of his older builds, you might have more luck in his forums. Sorry.

I have those files and instructions, I was still having MMS issues but after some more reading for other carriers am thinking I didn't WAIT long enough before my test. But seriously THANKS for the answer to whole verizon/alltel issue. I used to flash the daylights outta my 6800 but when an insurance claim place a touch pro in my hands I was happy enough w/ it stock. Wanted something lighter and more pocket friendly and picked this 6900 up to get the feel and see if I liked it before spending more on a diamond. For whatever reason which carrier rom/cabs to use just confuses me....

Hello all,
I am a year-long htc blackstone user, flashing miri roms etc, a heavy user.
So I bought this week my wife the touch2 (mega). Now I have some issues with this one. For me these would not be that much of a problem - I am fluent with stopping data connections - but we are talking about not such a fluent user now...
I already installed the owner info patch.
Apparently we live that far in countryside, that the home page weather does not work. Google location services is configured, google maps finds our location - but weather not. No location at all, just tells that the weather data is not available.
Second thing... no hdtweak or kaisertweak for that yet? I'd like to configure the internet (gprs/3g) to deactivate automatically when not in use. This is not found in the settings anywhere. Using NoData or such is just not practical. The stopping data connection would be to save battery.
Third.. sense tabs. In the settings there is no possibility to change the order of the tabs :-O
So, the first thoughts...

I too, recieved the touch2 3 days ago. Need to sort out how to send sms in groups, like my old nokia n95 this could be done without any problems. The weather updates are costing me network charge, beware! Been searching the net for this sms software and most are not what i am looking for.. Anyone out there to help? Would reflashing the phone rom with a custom one work? As the phone is locked to t-mobile I would like to dismiss the logo start up's and the t-mobile web settings. Help anyone.. Please. Thanks You.
For the wather map to work, you must enable the location services that can be found in the settings.
needless to say, I have activated the location services.
it just must be the fact that we are living so far in the countryside.
I have on my blackstone a newer rom and manila - the weather shows perfectly our home location, a small village of 3500 inhabitants.
I wonder if that version on touch2 would work in a city.

but to answer one of your questions anssibragge
there is a thread made up for touchFlo2d 2.0 themes and there is an app that has the ability to change tabs around/ disable tabs
this may work for your touch 2
its made by Twolf and i think its called ReFlush but i could be wrong
the thread is in the windows themes under dev/hacking

Currently I'm running the Cell Pro V11 and although I don't think this ROM-version can be the problem, I thought it was worthy mentioning.
I'm trying to get the official F1-applet going that mobile users can download from http://mobile.formula1.com but for some reason it comes up with an OutofMemory-error even when my TP2 has "only" 48% used after a soft reset.
I was wondering if anyone has experienced this as well or that maybe a JAVA-update is in order or that there is some volatile memory that needs excluding in the registry for this app to work.
Really appreciate some answers/pointers from fellow F1-fans.
Same problem for me as well. Haven't figured out what is wrong. Really wish it wasn't a Java applet.

In the FAQ section for the TP2 you will find a link to install JavaFX.
The repeat the procedure and you will not get out of memory anymore

Woke up this AM in the USA, & lo & behold the app worked for Round 3 of the WCC - Malaysia.
Nice stuff.
Must've been server issues not allowing some of us to connect the last couple of days.
Best advice I can say for Touch Pro2 owners is download the JavaFX & install that before downloading latest F1 App.
Should be able to get the HTC soft keyboard up & running too & u can choose not to use the app's own proprietary soft keyboard.

The one that is of importance, though, is the Mobile Backup App. I have checked the threads on here and have ended up with nothing. I DO KNOW this file exists for this format of Windows Mobile. I tried to copy the correct files to my SD Card, but apparently am missing some and don't know what to look for anyway.
So, if somebody out there knows what's up with a cab or exe or files that I could extract from the stock rom, I would appreciate a little "heads up." Thanks in advance for any help.

Did we already have you try this cab? I've handed it to a couple of people recently, can't remember if you were one of them
It's the tmo mobile backup that was extracted from the tmo HD2 ROM, and I think it works on the TP2...too Even if it's looking like it's running ok, make sure you test the sync in both directions (saving to their server and backing up from it) before you rely on it.
I still highly recommend myphone to accomplish the same tasks and more, but this is admittedly a lean solution, so definitely use whichever works best for you

Man, I gotta buy you a beer someday. That's great. I did not receive that from you recently, but thanks for posting it. It works well if I ever lose my phone or something happens to my pc whatever and I can't sync my original device with my contacts. NRG should cook this into his ROMs, uhum.

Yes, that HD2 thread is where I found this copy, but I thought it was the same as WarlockW's posted cab (which didn't have as handy as this copy). I suspect that they're not different by phone model, but rather by WM version...but I'm just guessing there

You have to call T-Mobile and get them to set this app up on your "plan." What I mean is, it IS free to add to you payment plan, but you actually have to call customer care and get them to add it, but like I said it's FREE. Don't ask me why, but they just have it set up that way. I had the same problem, and it took like 10 minutes from dialing their number to having the software work. It's apparently a matter of account settings or something that they have to tweak.

I am running the new NRG ROM in my sig, but IT won't allow me to install mobile backup to this version. I haven't tried the newest ROM from the 13th, but I sense it is gonna have the same problem.
When I try to install the cab, it just says installation was not successful.Anyone else having this problem with the newer ROMs?

Have tried the newest 13th ROM from NRG and it does not let this sync with the server. It says that the device is not supported.

ok, this is just a wilda$$ guess...but isn't it desirable in some cases (like to correct MMS pic size issues) to have some agent ID in your registy other than what the phone actually is? Maybe possible that NRG bakes that in? Or, maybe it just only acceps a certain specific range of WM versions?

Ok, that's an idea, but what exactly could I do to change this? Plus, I am not sure what you mean about agentID. Just thought I would ask, cause I really hate not having this app.

It's a key somewhere in the registry that indicates what model of phone it is (independent of the IMEI), I believe it's used to identify it to the network for things like what size MMS files the phone can handle, etc...and I'm just surmising this becasue I recall that's where I saw the references to it. So, I would probably suggest looking in any threads related to MMS size issues, you'll probably see someone make a reference to a regedit or cab that makes that change, you can reverse-engineer the rest from there I guess.
I rarely go through any of the forum sections other than the rhodium boards and the Tmo HD2 section, so you can probably confine your search to those places if it helps. I'll keep my eyes open for it too.
Still no luck, sir phunkee. I am hoping that when I flash this newest NRG Rom, maybe I will have some luck, but to be honest, I am kinda tired of flashing his new ROM's cuz, they are "supposedly" faster or better, etc.
We will see, but hopefully someone will have a cab or link that could lead me somewhere.

Now if I could just get rid of the transparent slide and make it stock again? (just for clarification... not slider or icons)
