Hd screen broked... any suggestion ?

Hi all,
I just broke the screen of the hd
the lcd is ok also the touch screen on top is ok
what is broken is the layer of glass/plastic between the lcd and the touch screen....
any suggestion ?
what htc sell as spare parts?

If you have warranty try to apply it, if not use original HTC replacements, just google it

I've see what you need on ebay, it cost 85 euros...

the part u broken is glass maden! 85€ it's a good price, if u send the device to htc in order to be repaired, 85€ it will be just a happy dream.

wich part exactly do i need ?
i was looking at the HTC_Blackstone_Service_Manual and i see in the Disassembling procedure that the screen come together with the front cover
but i am not sure.

Hope you had some cover, we had a similiar thread like this a few weeks ago i got my HD insured soon after, for £6 a month with orange, cant afford to folk out £100+ pound if that happens to my HD. by the way how did that happen was much force needed?

Mine broke too two days ago
It start to ring and vibrate and felt from the table.
HTC service told me the glass come with display and they have to change both. For around 220Euros
And this is almost half of the price of a new HD

broken digitizer

Hey all,
Had my HD2 for about 3 weeks now, while walking yesterday I tripped and fell, this caused the digitizer to break. I have contacted HTC on a quote for repair. Seeing as they quoted 200 euros, I can't afford to have it fixed. I do have the skills myself to fix the device, all I need is a replacement digitizer. After many hours searching I have yet to find one on sale.
The LCD panel underneath is fine it's just the digitizer that has been shattered. Stunningly it does still responds to input, but having small shards of glass in my fingers isn't ideal.
Can anybody here help?

I have been able to find digitizers for other models from HTC on ebay.
But currently there isn't anybody offering a spare HD2 digitizer, Does anybody know how I may be able to get my hands on one?
I have vacuum packed my HD2 for now to stop corrosion. Hopefully I can find a replacement part soon.

Hi! How did you manage to seperate the digitizer from the lcd without crushing the lcd?? I tried and now my lcd is useless I've found a new digitizer on ebay, but not the lcd screen, and I need both.. Do you know where I can find a new one??

Xperia X10 Broken LCD Screen

Hello ppl, i broke my lcd screen on my xperia...
i had the phone in the kit bag whilst playing cricket and out of all the places the ball rolled and hit the pocket my phone was in!!! I ran knowing the screen will be peices and it was. The screen is still functioning, im able to view the screen and it is responsive to touch. Its turned out like an iphone with a broken screen if anybodys seen one the outer glass is cracked.
I brought the phone from ebay sim-free, i just want to know if anybody knows where to purchase a replacement screen?
I've searched on ebay but no luck

It´s only the housing, not the screen.

There's a recently closed listing for an X10 digitizer (white) on ebay. Suggest you keep searching, and grab one as soon as you get the chance.

[Q] Repairs

Anyone know where I can get an hd2 repaired, or anyone who can do it ?
Bought an hd2 with a dead digitizer. Pulled it apart to repair the digitizer. Thought I cracked the screen, but I didn't, turns out I cracked the glass on the old digitizer (no big deal). Put it back together a very minimal amount. Now, it's turning on, but it doesn't do anything after the screen turns on.
Know what I can do, or anyone I can send it to ? I'm in Canada

go into the store where you buy it and ask them.

I bought it from someone who didn't want to fix the digitizer. the dead digitizer was known to me when I bought it.

Broken Screen Help!

Hey everyone I need a few questions answered for a cracked screen. I slipped and dropped my phone and cracked the screen and the touchscreen doesnt work anymore. I was wondering would I need both a digitizer and lcd screen? Or can I just get one or the other. Please help me Im using a lg optimus now it sucks!! And normally where can you find the cheapest repair parts?
