This is a clean WM6.5.5 (build 23545) ROM in several versions:
- premium: This is like the stock ROM, with Sense and with HTC Messaging.
- premium_nomess: This is like premium, but without HTC Messaging
- lite: This is without HTC Sense.
- lite_nomess: This is lite, but without HTC Messaging
- lite_WMphone: This is a lite version without the HTC phone canvas and Messaging. This is what I use, in order to have a fully landscape enabled ROM.
- barebone: almost all HTC stuff removed, this is almost pure Windows Mobile as it comes from Microsoft. Only some applications like Youtube, Opera are there.
Please read the whole post for important information. You won't regret it!
The ROMs are kept very close to stock (Leo 2.10 packages). I try to make them stable and fast, no 'bloatware'.
Sense is fully Landscape enabled!
However, you have to change one registry key to prevent the music and pictures tab from rotating. Read the 'problems and solutions' section at the bottom of this post on how to make it work in landscape without issues!

- Manila music and pictures tab getting messed up in landscape mode: Change the registry value HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\EnableFullscreen to 0.
- Cannot change date when Manila is disabled: Enter the date manually with the keyboard.

Yeah WM6.5.3 is the only thing I was missing from my Blackstone
Sucks that my internet connection is so slow, I've been uploading for over 4 hours before I've been disconnected.
The ROM is already working pretty good, I'll fix some more things and ask a friend to upload it tomorrow.

Hey guys and girls
Sorry that it took so long, I could not upload the ROMs because my connection is only 64k and very unstable.
The first three versions are done:
- barebones
- without Sense, without Messaging
- without Sense, with Messaging
I will upload them soon, within the next 4 hours, hope everything goes well this time.
This is my To Do list, so that you know what's still missing:
- include a nicer theme (shadowline's)
- reorganize and customize start menu icons
- get rid of the keypad symbol in the dialer
- update some packages with newer versions
- find a landscape enabled (Rhodium) dialer
- some registry tweaks
I have not included Google Maps, you can download the newest version with compass support from www.google.com/gmm.
I also have not included RSShub, because it does not work with WM6.5.3 ROMs.
Many eyes see more than two, so please report any bugs you find!

I'll try to find a solution for this, I hope there is a way to run it without Manila.
Another thing is that the proximity sensor seemt to need the HTC phone canvas to turn the display off during a call. I don't think that there is a solution atm, but I'll keep the barebones version, because I like it

Installation:
How to install a cooked ROM.
Install HARD SPL

- If you change some thing, you have to wait for a minute before restarting to make sure the device get your changes.
- Last but not least....again, do not ask me why I did not put such app or why I chose this or that. If you feel like I am missing something cool or left an application behind...PM a message with such suggestions. No problem.

I have up this ROM (very tire because there are many Roms!)
At first, i would like to say: this Rom is fast and stable (even on compare with PDAVIET v17).
Only one things: there is not same style (interface)
- Phone Pad, Audio Manager: touch style (black color)
- Windows Media, HTC Home, Conn Manager: Diamond style (white color)

Search UDK's Custom RUU
Hi...great rom..thanks for the great job. Few things to say : I always have the clock on the title bar despite the fact I turned it off...I'm not sure to like the fonts used...I prefer the original one, but yeah it's personnal. Then the Teeter games doesn't work, I 'v a message "the file Labyrinth cannot be opened". May be few things to ad, TCPMP, and a ...Sudoku..please !
looks good, but i have a couple of questions before i fash it, im currently using uDK Vega R1 (not R2) as i like to have the smaller start menu and small taskbar. is this working in the rom? also has anyone found any issues with tomtom with the rom as i use it a lot for navigation.

Home customizer is actually running on mine. Are you able to open it or crash prior that? I realized that although you can change settings, some of the icons like beam one is not shown. That's what I'm gonna look in...
Issues with Diamond SIPs are really annoying I confess. I had that issue in UdK also. No clues yet...but I'll try work around...

It works! Just go settings/enable large start menu and disable it! You'll have the way you like back to normal.

ok thats brilliant, now to find out if tomtom behaves with the rom
also, im aware that this is only a beta rom but i tend to customise my handsets hevily with third party apps
I'd like to help you out making some language generations of my ROM but have no time to do that. I started a project like this in the past but had to stop.
So, do not expect some variations at this moment specially clean ones. I want first correct bugs in 5.0 to then start thinking something new....maybe a Vanilla but I always put what I think is basic and needed in terms of our day-to-day routines!

Yeah, thats the plan. Maybe other languages too, but I will think more on that, cause its not easy to support roms with a language I dont understand
But I have found the build I wanna work more on (current one) and when I have sorted out what I can of "bugs & glitches" I will make a norwegian version

Shut down problem
It looks like this version has the sme problem with the shutdown. When you power off, it is in standyby mode. When you power back on it has to be soft reset to get the carrier. Is there a fix?

mm,there is quite some changes in this build, but you might not see them all as many are regsettings.
But there is some improvements on diff graphics, like dialer.
I added also the apps that ppl requested, like quick gps and fm radio.

Am having an issue with quickgps not connecting and can't save the changes in options. Is anyone having the same problems ?

Missing battery icon
Thank you, this is my best rom ever! (I have flashed my polaris 5 times)
Just wondering if where is the battery icon, can you (or me ) somehow put back?
For me it's annoying that I don't know when to chargem only informed by the low battery notification. Or I have to go manually into Power Management menu, which I found uncomfortable.

This is a mixture of OEM apps from Raphael Opal Jade and Blackstone everything that was not VGA depentant I've taken from Blackstone
the HTC Acount Manager looks like it's a part of some future plans by HTC for now it lets you log into Youtube but there are images for facebook so that must come soon
JETCET printer is also from Blackstone and looks like it a further development of the BTBPP but with much more options.

This ROM can be dumped and recooked. Unlike many of the cooks, no RGU have been deleted. No DSM has been deleted. And most of all, the ROM has not been crippled against dumping by deleting IMGFS signatures. So feel free to dump and modify upto your taste. And share the knowledge with the community. Removed iContacts there is a newer version that anyone can install if they like
for now I've added 2 Camera albums Why?
The default album is the one from Jade and works as it should
the second is from Blacksatone and the folder preview (with all pictures is a bit messed but single picture preview is perfect but only portrate) but this one has the option to upload pictures to Facebook and video to Youtube. I'm shure there will be a fix for this soon
I've called the Blackstone version Album Uploader. I've uploaded 2 pictures to my facebook so I know it works

this is an offical build from Blackstone the other was a leaked beta and this one has more apps
Thanks gullum about the "large fonts" tip and how to reduce their size using the supplied configuration manager. Also, I am not one for custom "boot up" screens but yours is wicked, I am converted.

What radio do you have ?
I use the 1.59.44.02 could be a radio problem
Battery/Charge indicator
Thanks for this new rom.
Tested the beta and was happy with that but this one looks more complete and in regards to speed and response for me much better.
Have however still the same problem with the battery/charge indicator.
On the main screen the battery indicator doesn't change.
When battery empty it still shows full and while on the charger also no change.
Anybody any idea or tip?

this is also killing me because I have the same problem on my Nike rom but with all my other devices the inticator works as it should.
Maybe polaris and nike have something differant ?

Here I present you the latest version of Evolution series, 'Evolution 2.5A' which has the latest Touch Flo version from HTC Mega. Touch Flo will run as smooth as the old Touch Flo version. And as promised this rom is ultra fast (Faster than Evolution 2).

First time in a touch viva rom
1. Replaced autorun (starts after 3sec) replaced with newer application called runcc, from mega.
2. New softkey bar.
3. 71 - 73 mb free at start up.
Things to know
1. After flashing and configuring the rom, runcc will be launched you might not have seen this earlier, so its just a new style of customization, will automatically restart device.
2. There is no taskmanager by default.
3. The new keyboard is just a skin for the default small keyboard by microsoft, you can use it for regular but it may be still small, so you can put any of your fav keyboard.

Everything works fine together, no bugs for the moment.
But i'm looking for a better taskbar, light on memory, to replace the icons line i hate. Any ideas?

Oh yeah i am happy that you liked, and yes i too hate those default icons but since i promised to many to give atleast once a clean rom, so did i next time fully customized and will try to improve battery and free ram more.
And taskbar = android one is in fashion
And for start menu icons = hd2 icons are famous but if you wanna try the latest one then firestorm icons are the latest and newest available on theme section.
Yep i'll check for an android taskbar, since i have a full android theme trhough mobile shell, that should be a good idea to keep in that way
Sync works fine, btw, i'm testing it right now.
And you rom is perfect, cleanest rom are the best, everyone could get the phone that fits exactly his own needs... No customisation at first run is not a problem for me

Hello everyone! Since it is a bit of time that no one publishes a rom I decided to create one myself. I want to publish four versions:
1) FULL: in this version there are all the most useful programs I know!
2) LITE: is a little lighter, leaner and without the heavier programs.
3) LITE W/O MANILA: This is the lite version, but without the manila.
4) ULTRALITE: this version is reduced to bone and it's also uncompressed! (more speed and less user space)
I also decided to share the kitchen of these roms! So if you want to change something you can do it by yourself, I hope it can also be useful to other developers. No waiting in endless, no password to download the roms and a kitchen with all my work inside ready for you; this is my way of doing things.

I've been a fan of your ROMs for a long time, although I've pretty much tried all the other developers' ROMs...
- After testing your 'Full' version of this ROM the only thing I have to point out is the battery life, it's not so bad but the main problem is the drainage that occurs when the phone isn't actually being used (it's not due to the Wi-Fi or anything like that, I double checked!)
- The UltraLite has crashed twice for me, once when I was trying to access Phone>Options, and the other seems to be a constant, which is whenever I use the Volume Up/Down buttons.
But great work! Looking forward for your kitchen upload!

Try hard-resetting. I didn't get any of these problems! Its a perfect ROM!

Once again beautiful ROM i am testing the LITE version haven't found any bugs as of yet, (also cause i haven't given it a good work out ).
My Request is for you to attach this version of the keypad, its basically the same but came from the original opal. For some reason if I install this Cab, the Phone refuses to boot up after restart. Am attaching the cab.
PS: For those who want to try the EzInput keypad install "NoKbd" cab first then the english, in other words RC2 first then RC1.

Your keyboard does not work because it will overlap with the default and are both ezinput, now I make a lite rom with only your keyboard , but I mtake it from opal packages...

Hi Pajerm! I am using "full" rom from two days... and its just like a oem rom! everything working flawlessly!! i get battery for 1.5 day...and happy with it.
MMS, gprs, ezinput.. you gave the perfect rom for me... i was waiting for someones 6.5.5... but this rom is real good... No bugs found at all..
Also your way of sharing your work -- No password -- No waiting -- no hype -- is the best.
