First Let me say, Everyone has different taste. This is why we have so many different ROM's to choose from. Most all of the ROM's here are good and I find it just comes done to personal preference. Some people like black others don't, some like ROM's ready to go out of the box, others don't and want to configure themselves etc etc. I'm going to try to have 2 versions. Regular which will have a lot of things removed and can be installed through Preset Installer (Faster). And one preloaded ready to go after flash.
This ROM is made with some changes from the stock ROM. It uses the Latest MS builds and a few customizations. With some of my personal start menu organization. I like a clean start Menu. I have made some tweaks for speed and stability. I find that our HD2 is already plenty fast for any user so there is no need to cut up and gut out our ROM's to gain some small amount of unnoticeable improvement. I also like to give users the choice in how they like to configure there ROM which is why I use Preset Installer. There will be Many programs you can install from Preset Installer instead of having them built in. For some people it makes device more suitable if trying to use Chinese input to not include the WWE Keyboard, but have it available to others. The other reason is when using Extendir, every program that is installed after flash gains from the Extendir performance. I have added a few apps, and a few removed. You can load them from cabs found here on XDA or Through Preset Installer. Or let me know and I can provide it for you.

NEW Rom Online
Which ROM is right for me?
Preloaded Version: Comes with most all software and apps and is ready to go after flash.
Preload is also a Full version of HTC Sense With all Languages included.
Preload also is good for users who wish to apply themes and or add and remove manila mods etc.
Regular Version: Rom is a light base ROM that can be customized to anyone needs through Preset Installer. This ROM is also faster because all the apps loaded after flash benefit from the Extendir performance increase.
Many of the stock and custom apps have been removed for installation through Preset Installer.
Manila is less than half the size of the ship ROM. More than 3000 files are removed from the windows folder with this version.
Manila is cfc compressed, and all Lang files except WWE are removed.
Manila mods are uninstallable, if you uninstall a manila mod you will have to reinstall manila again from Preset Installer. (Not a big deal only 2 min)
CHS\WWE Version:
This version is cooked specially for users who want a WWE ROM with CHS reading and input support. All the inputs work including Fuzzy Logic, and Handwriting in full screen, Pinyin etc. This ROM Also has a World Wide Wince.nls with All 5 regions of Chinese
CHT\WWE Version:
This version is cooked specially for users who want a WWE ROM with CHT reading and input support. It has all the Fonts and Inputs from Official Taiwan CHT ROM. Included are ZhuYin, PinYin, CangJie, Stroke, Full screen Handwriting etc. I have tested all of them and they seem to work but as I'm not able to read or type Chinese I'm not sure. The handwriting seems to work when I make strokes it suggest characters etc. This ROM Also has a World Wide Wince.nls with All 5 regions of Chinese.

How to install?:
Copy the Extendir folder found in download to the root of your storage card. Flash the ROM as usual, Soft Reset, then go to Applications folder in Start Menu and select Preset Installer. When Preset Installer comes up you can click next and install the programs or utilities you want by checking the boxes for each program. You can Also choose from one of the Preset Configuration Like Full Install, Minimal Install etc. Then Click next and then install. NOTE: A box with a bold check will install automatically to Device, if it has a faded check this means you will be prompted for install location. This is needed for programs that require user intervention like FingerKeyboard etc. Don't let device go to sleep during install!!. Device will reboot after installation. You can remove any of the programs as needed from the Remove programs in System. I have made some new .cab files with shortcuts to my Start Menu folders structure. So if you try to use these cabs on another ROM it likely will not work. Read the install instructions inside the Extendir folder. WARNING do not copy or redistribute any of the cabs found in my Extendir Folder. I name them with LIA to distinguish them as being modified for my ROM. Some of these apps are proprietary and can cause trouble if posted somewhere else.

WARNING 1: There is no HTC Sense or Manila going to come up after Flash. It is installed after flash if you want, with Preset Installer. Except Preload version.
WARNING 2: The New HTC Sense builds are still unofficial and there may be bugs.
WARNING 3: Perform a Hard Reset, and then a Soft Reset before running Preset Installer
WARNING 4: Read the Installation Instructions found in Extendir folder.
WARNING 5: Manila Mods will work if designed for the 2012 builds. They may cause problem if you uninstall them. See Install Instructions. The good new is you can reinstall Manila again if you have any issues.
WARNING 6: Read the instructions and this thread carefully. I take no responsibility for any harm to your device. Flash at your own risk.
WARNING 7: 16gb Storage cards are known to cause problems with newer TMOUS Test ROM's
WARNING 8: It is recommended to use one of these Radio's before flashing to prevent problems with Hang at HTC Screen. 2.07.50.27_2, 2.08.50.08.02
Known Bugs:
Theme not applied fully after Flash: If you get a default background and the LIA Theme does not seem to be applied just change to another theme and back to LIA Theme, then soft reset and everything should be ok.
Regular Version Only Screen Refresh after soft reset: If you see HTC Sense Loading after soft reset just tap the screen and see if it comes up.
Screen Refresh Issue:Start Menu shortcuts may not show until soft reset. When copy\cut and paste you may have to go out of the folder then back to view the file. This is a small issue due to the new Extendir V2 beta. Will be resolved in future version.

So you can install it from Preset Installer. I usually have my ROM's setup this way. In the future If I use Extendir driver everything that is installed after flash or during customization benefits from increased speed. At the moment I'm not using it but it also gives each user their choice of what they want.

Read on the first post. You have to take the folder Extendir included in the zip file and put it in your Storage Card root directory. Then it will work.

Yes if you install the 2 Thai Language packs. One sets the Wince.nls for add Thailand and installs the fonts. The other is a finger Keyboard with Thai input.
Make sure after install these cabs to select Thai from the regional settings in System.

I've done research on the forum here and found that to unlock the full 576 RAM in HD2 you need two things from the TMOUS ROM. The Radio and nk.exe. I've managed to download the appropriate Radio to unlock the memory but cannot for the life of me understand how to get the nk.exe.
I am using osKitchen Kitchen v1.25 to cook my roms. It uses the following structure under the Sources folder:
EXT
MSXIPKernel
NK
OEM
Other
ROM
SYS
Replacing the NK folder in the TMOUK kitchen from the TMOUS ROM simply does not work the resultant ROM does not boot and just hangs the device.
Could one of our chefs please explain how to port the nk.exe from the US build to unlock the memory in the T-Mobile UK ROM 1.72.

Replacing the NK folder in the TMOUK kitchen from the TMOUS ROM simply does not work the resultant ROM does not boot and just hangs the device.
Could one of our chefs please explain how to port the nk.exe from the US build to unlock the memory in the T-Mobile UK ROM 1.72.
Using the following 576-enabled Radio

For the 576MB patch you need only to replace these folders from an 2.07 or 2.02 Stock-Rom:
Rom\XIP\OEMXIPKernel\nk.exe
OEM\OEMDrivers
OEM\OEMDriversHigh
Then you need to replace again with this folder
OEM\OEMDrivers\ddi.dll
with an older Base than 2.07/2.02 (1.72 in your case is recommended)

Why ddi.dll ? mine works fine with new 2.13/2.11/2.10 ddi.dll

Hi, I'm a newbie for ROM cooking, experienced cookers, please advise.
I'm using HD2/Leo phone, I learned how to use HSPL, flash a cooked ROM, so I'm start thinking of cooking the ROM my own, and what all I need is retain original 1.66 707.1 Asia WWE version of stock ROM, but only to enable 576MB RAM.
I found a kitchen, oskitchen zero 1.31, use the GUI and extracted the stock ROM, and stop here, because I don't know how to cook the ROM...
Experienced cookers, please advise, thanks in advance!!!

which means that i just copy all the folder need, then paste inside the osKitchen Zero folder, and finally click "Start building button" to cook my ROM...?
I also want to know why ddi.dll need to be remain old version?

it is working out quite well but i want to enable the 576 ram tweak
in patensas his post he says i need to change things from a tmous rom
if i use the tmous 2.13.531.1 as base rom do i still need to change those folders?

Using 2.13 base you should have 576 anyway.

to be honest i have no idea why it aint working
when you got the settings tab and scroll down to device info
there you choose hardware info it should also say 576?
the thing i did is dump the tmous 2.13 rom with ervius
then i took out the 0409 folder in oem and replaced it with the the one i use for blackstone(maybe the fault is here) then i replaced the ext packages with the ones i use i blackstone kitchen(compared wich are unnesacary and left those out) and then recooked the rom
i also decided today that i am gonna rebuild the entire kitchen from scratch without copy pasting the 0409 folder in oem and set everything up from there and remake the initflash.dat the way i want it
i havent changed the ddi.dll so that might be the trick why it aitn working
on side note:
wish i whasnt in the middle of moving and had the actual device for a few days
that would definetly make things easier for me
ps: what do you think is the best base to use to build the kitchen on with ervius kitchen
tmous 3.14? it would sound logical that newer is better although there are differences between the american and european leo's

I have already installed on the phone the 2.15 radio, what files I need to change inside the kitchen ( I use oskitchen ) ? I have a t-mobile.uk hd2 ( I have bought it from england.
so I think that it's the european version )

Take the nk.exe(from oemxipkernel) from 2.13 tmous.I think also the nk.exe from 3.14 tmous should be ok but I havent try it.
Could someone just post an attachment with the modules needed to enable the extra RAM? I'm sure it would make it easier for everyone. I'd do it, but I don't have an hd2.

The way that the European Leo device gets the 576 ram enabled is the following:
Replace the nk.exe with the nk.exe from TMOUS rom (in Sources\Devices\HTC Leo\Profiles\default\OEMXIPKernel folder for oskitchen, or \ROM\LEO\build number\OEMXIPKERNEL for ervius kitchen).
I attach the 2.13 tmous and 3.14 tmous nk.exe modules.Both do the trick or enable the 576 ram (for those who believe it).
Personally in my Leo I didnt see any difference with the 576 ram enabled.
So, how can one build a rom that will work both on a T-Mobile HD2 and on the WWE HD2?
Should I try to work with the WWE stock roms and hope it will work with the T-MO or is there any specifics needs to be done?
I beleive my EVK Kitchen will do what you want...

nice to point him in a ready to use kitchen but i think its handy if you type out what you have done to make it that way so other people can do it themselves as i think it are only a few files and its easier to change a few files then customize a entire kitchen to youre own liking
I take the OEMXIPKernel and OEMDrivers packages from a 2.1x ROM and use them as part of my ROM's base to make it 1024mb compatible. You could use the whole 2.1x OEM dir, but I find it unstable myself.

Basically, you work on a WWE rom as the base but you take OEMXIPKernel and OEMDrivers from a T-Mo rom and install them instead of the WWE ones?

The wording here can be a bit confusing - TMOUS ROMs are WWE anyway (2.13 being the last) but the latest 1024mb ROM is 2.14, which is CHS language.
You could use any base you like and just include the OEMXIP and OEMDrivers from a 2.1x ROM to make it fully compatible. I use a WWE 1.72 base (because I find it the most stable) and the OEMDrivers and OEMXIP from 2.14 (because it's the latest available). I then had to replace several bluetooth dll's and mui's in the OEMDrivers as they are in CHS and I want WWE - I just copied them over from the 1.72 WWE OEMDrivers package. If you used the 2.13 OEMDrivers they would already be WWE...
I also have the 2.10 touch.dll and touchgl.dll files copied to my OEMDrivers as these have better touch response.
The easiest way would be to just use the 2.13 base (it's 1024mb HD2 compatible and it's already WWE) and use x.xx.50.x series radios...

I am cooking my first ROM and looking for latest Manila so that I can integrate that with my ROM for Topaz/TD2 (I think TD2 is WVGA ? )
When I search I see one thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=797602 but that say VGA Sense 2.5.2019.
NOT Sure if that will work for my TD2 ?

Thanks for your input. But as I said I am very new so extracting the Manila and using in other will be difficult for me I think. I am using osKitchen for now and working on my first cooking.
Can you zip that so that I can use and later once I become little easy to use kitchen I can do what you advised .
