HTC just released a hotfix for "Pink Spot" camera problem for HD2.

Edit: Actually, even with Manila 2.1, i did notice "Pink Spot" on photos taken by the HD camera as well. Anyone of you experience that?
Update: Did a few more shots with Manila 2.1 ROM (Miri 28011 Test ROM). No "Pink Spot". I think the "Pink Spot" i noticed earlier may be due to lighting.

i never had this pink spot with all roms i`ve used since a year.. but i will download and trying to install hotfix,just to see.

It could be something specific for HD2 hardware combined with the ROM. If the glitch does not appear on HD devices (even with cooked Leo ROM's), the fix is probably not needed.
I can confirm this is indeed for the Leo only.

This fix is _NOT_ needed for hTC Touch HD. It is a known problem on HD2 only.
I've moved this to general discussion as its not related to rom development.

Perhaps he didn't encounter it - I never have and I'm not alone.
In fact, none of the reviews I've seen have mentioned it. That may be down to the fact that they didn't test messaging that well or it may be because they just didn't experience any issues.

Thats true, before upgrading the ROM from 1.43 to 1.48 I had a divine device. It worked flawlessly for 4 weeks. Then stupid me I upgraded to 1.48, and I screwed myself really bad. My previous ROM worked perfect.

so I tried to do the mandatory rom update today, the files on rogers site didn't work so I found them on htc's site. It didn't only update it seem to have changed the whole look of the mod to be the same of the hero's or close to.
did this happen for anyone else?
I now has 7 panels and different scenes that are like themes.
Did anyone update it with the file found rogers? did it do the same?

Man no offense OP but with posts like this, the rest of the world that visit the Sapphire forums must think that Canadians are illiterate or something because I can't believe you missed all the threads (many by other Rogers HTC Magic users who don't read thread titles) about the new Rogers update with Sense UI.
I did the Update Friday night and love it.....no issues like others have reported.

i just look into it and i dont trust it either because i hvent heard of it on here so mmmmmmmmmmmm lets see if anyone else has heard or try this before i download it to my hd2

Hello Xperia patient fans,
I installed Android 2.1 yesterday (don't ask me how, I have good connections) here are the proofs:

and here are my first impressions.
- First of all the system is faster (only after few hours of use it really became faster).
- The interface is really nice, a lot of improvements in all details.
- Address book is integrated with Facebook contacts in a very nice wy, you get all updates directly in your phone book

- There is no Multitouch
- Live wallpapers are included
- No pintch and zoom
- Moxier mail is still there
- Battery seems to last longer (I'll confirm after longer usage)

it has both methods, Root and Unroot, you wont loose any, if you need the file let me know I can send the link to you by pm

Mh realy? Lucky guys........... i have read many threads where users complaining about this low volume. After turning the level up the voice gets distorted. It should be a known problem.
But if this has not affect you, you wont notice a change ofc. So nevermind
BTW: Im talking about the IN-Call Volume! Dont mean the Speaker for out-side Sound. Sry English isnt my native language........

3D Gallery is the default Eclair gallery, that has been replaced by Mediascape.
It is still there though in the /system/app, I saw it in the system dump you provided us.
If you choose to place the Picture Frame widget on your screen, it opens the 3D gallery to choose a picture from.
And for the love of God, you have -theoretically- lost your warranty since you installed a pre-release of the firmware, so please try the one-click app to root!

hey mugur can you just add a video with different live wallpapers.i really dont like that one everyone who get 2.1 just show only that one.
