in the future do yourself a huge favor and just kind of check thru the threads or type what you're looking for in google followed or preceded by the letters xda to better put the forum to use......or you will get flamed....not a threat more of a warning...it's been really touchy lately

Thanks wyzepro,I did google and all pages lead to this site and im just lost inside 300 posts and threads and I dont know what to pik 4 this phone,im not trying to rip anybody i just want my device to proform better for its price. thanks again.

hey no problem...I do understand..as many of us do...however that being said...I also can relate to "clogged forum syndrome" and noob "bottle necking"....to some people what you did amounts to walking into a building full of restrooms and immediately you ask which one is the mens room?......flaming is a way of bashing someone online for doing or not doing something that should be obvious to most....there are some who would essentially light you up for the question you posted because there is a seperate thread for wing roms and it appears you did not look for or at it before asking....still if you have never been to the thread and dont know exactly how to search how would you know?.....so take this info with a grain of salt and remember how it feels even after you've been here a while....and perhaps you'll get to explain to the next noob how it goes in the community....all good hope you found what you're seeking......

Don't follow that previous link in this thread. That was for HTC Wings, which is completely different than the T-Mobile Wing. What you want is the HTC Herald forums (Herald is the manufacturer codename for the Wing). Hope that made sense.

how are you guys doing? i just bought a t-mobile wing a month ago.. and im looking for any information how to upgrade it or how to download some application to my phone.. it would really help if you can give me some tips. i want to download stuff on my wing, but im scared that i might break it.

just click on the xda-wiki tab and find the herald. there should be all the info you need on your wing and i must WARN you to fully read everything before you start making mods or placing apps on your wing. you dont want a 300 dollar paper weight do you? best of luck and have fun

YES, it has already been posted several times and the ROM is out there if you would like to flash it at your own RISK vis Gold Card method. Just do a quick search before starting new thread with the same info.
If you looked at other devices for which HSPL is released... The chefs are cooking ROMs with with the new features already. Why do you care about carrier udpates... If you do... XDA is not a place for you (dont get upset), This is a forum which lets you test your device limits.

can someone please advise as i would like to do this, i will also need some simple instructions

You are in the wrong forum, this is for the HD2, there is a Touch HD forum here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=451 where you can get all the help you need with your Touch HD and help on how to install a Windows 6.5 ROM. Hope that helps, "We are all new at some point in time"
