Both works through bluetooth flawlessly. Measured speed is round 750kBit/sec.

tethering to a mac

got confirmation that you can tether using the bluetooth on leopard 10.5 of OSX through edge/gprs. this was confirmed on Leopard build 9A343 and should work right out of the box on final build.
You mean bluetooth PAN profile is supported?
You can already do this using the regular WAN profile. So, for example, I couldn't do it with my BlackJack, but I can do it with my 8525.

2.4G wireless mini keyboard and android?

I just saw this keyboard mentioned as a good keyboard for an HTPC. But I'm wondering if anyone believes it will work with an android phone w/o a physical keyboard, like the Hero
http://www.tomtop.com/24g-wireless-mini-keyboard-with-touchpad-black-c709b_p10332.html
It connects via wireless 2.4g, and it does support linux:
System requirement:
-Windows 2000
-Windows XP
-Windows Vista ,windows CE,windows 7
-Linux(Debian-3.1,Redhat-9.0 Ubuntu-8.10 Fedora-7.0 tested)
Just an out-of-the-box idea, or fantasy, whatever you wanna call it.
I think we would have better chances if it were bluetooth.
I dunno but I'm thinking about buying one of these for my pc but I would definitely try it with my hero.

[Q] Bluetooth keyboard on froyo for slate computer

I recently bought an ExoPC (Windows 7 slate computer) which tied in very well with me getting my replacement HD2. I would like to use the HD2 (running froyo) as a bluetooth keyboard for my slate device so I can run certain applications at full screen. I have seen many applications that use wifi to hook up but nothing bluetooth. Wifi is no good as this device is used on the train/ tube/car so no wifi is available.
Any suggestions (sorry if this is in wrong area)
GRemote Pro.
I use it so I can control the PC I built into the dash of my truck in addition to the PC that I use as a DVR for my television. It can connect over both WiFi and Bluetooth.

dear [email protected] I USE BOTH bluetooth and wifi in my xp just download this programe and install it
http://www.2shared.com/file/AMzqQctQ/WifiBTenabler.html
and sure you can use also wifi and bluetooth in cool win 7
thanks
I installed standard Windows 7 without any extra programs as described in my post "My fast HTC Shift with 2GB..."
Both Bluetooth and WiFi work absolutely fine. I use a small MS Bluetooth mouse.
The only thing to watch is that if the wireless modem AND WiFi are both enabled, switching between them can sometimes take several minutes, but usually works without changing any settings. Example - if I am at home connected using WiFi, then leave the house, the Shift takes about 5 minutes to realise the WiFi has gone and reconnect over GSM, but eventually it does happen, and automaticall. Just wait!

[Q] Can't BT Pair N7 (4.2.2) to Windows 7 (x64)

I have a 16GB Nexus 7 with XenonHD 4.2.2 Rom, and I cannot pair it with my Windows 7 (x64) desktop, either with the desktop looking for it and pairing or from the N7 finding the Desktop and Pairing.
But I can pair with my Macbook running OSX Lion and send a file from the Macbook to the N7.
And I can also pair the N7 to my T-Mobile G2 (HTC Desire-Z) running ILWT CM7 to use for Bluetooth Internet Tethering.
And I can successfully pair with my iPad (it'll pair, but it doesn't support any actual functions)
But alas, I cannot pair with my Windows 7 Desktop, any advice on where to look to solve the problem?
I got it to pair by moving the BT adapter to a different USB port, but even with it paired, there are no services listed under the services tab. There's a direct connect option but it does nothing other than show it connected, and then disconnects. So there appears to be no bluetooth functionality between the N7 and windows (such as file sharing, etc).
