Pocket Plus Vs Resco

hi every,
I have both Pocket Plus and Resco file Explorer, both APP provide a today plugin, however The pocket Plus Today doesn't show in the "today" but Resco show without problems, do anyone meet this ????
http://www.firstloox.org/forums/printthread.php?t=4761
I strongly recommend going to just resco and maybe using magic button for the program manager. Resco has a lot more fetures then spb and it seams to use less resources.
Thats my 2 cents, Later; Lew
Since I want to control the Windows Media Player in the Today Screen while SPB can but Resco, any plugin for Resco can do that ? Thanks

xda Mini S media player SD card question

I've recently bought a 1 gig card for my XDA mini which has been working fine except for one annoying issue.
Almost every time I open the phone out of standby (black screen) it seems to open up into windows media player asking me to search the newly inserted card for media. The frist time I figuered fine no big deal, but it keeps doing it all the time and its getting very annoying.
Is there any way of stopping this? has anyone else had this problem??
Can anyone help me to sort this out??
Thanks, Sam
It sound like media player hasn't closed but is running in the background minimized, close it properly, goto control, memory and close it down.
I had the same, best to get an app that closes programs rather than the stupid smart my @[email protected] minimize.
Thanks Declan,
Can you recommend any, and the best place to download apps for windows mobile??
vBar & MagicButton are a couple of free apps which make the close button actually close rather than minimise.
Another is smartskey (http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=41060&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0) , which also lets you remap the softkeys so that if you hold one down, rather then just press it, it'll bring up the start menu (left soft key) or OK/close (right soft key). Very useful.
Some software links:

http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php
www.handango.com
www.sbsh.net
Recommended (free) media player: TCPMP ( http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/about ). Plays divx, xvid, etc etc.
Free encoder for the PC, to recode & shrink vids down to PDA resolution: http://divx.ppccool.com/
I got my XDA Mini S just over a week ago. Currently using smartskey, TCPMP, PHM Registry Editor, pRSS reader (all free), & also just bought PocketBreeze & iLauncher from SBSH (two fairly cheap, & *very* good, plugins. PB replaces the Calendar, Tasks, etc on the Today screen, iL is a launcher so you can put shortcuts on your Today screen).

Perfect Apps for HD2

Hi guys,
Hurray.. Finally I got my HD2 yesterday. After a month discussions between iphone and HD2 finally i went toward HTC and purchased this little miracle.
I am just starting this thread to list down best applications available for this new windows phone.
I saw many forums about iPhone Apps but none of the very useful one for windows phone. Please help to make it a best thread to list down all useful HD2 Apps.
London Tube App
I am looking for following equivalent London Tube app for my HD2. This link shows a very cheap app for iphone. Do you know if there is any such a cheap one for HD2.
http://www.anglotopia.net/london/th...eview-list-the-top-19-london-apps-for-iphone/
Thanks,
Jit
Visual IT do a nice Tube / London-Map application for Windows-Mobile, which will work on the HD2, but it's not very "finger friendly", and it's not as cheap as the iPhone app. (£5.99 to £14.99).
Link: http://www.visualit.co.uk/PocketPC/tube.htm
As an alternative, you can download the free PDF map from TFL, and open that on the HD2. No routing, but saves carrying a paper map.

Someone recommended TubeRun to me. It's on the MarketPlace and a bargain at £1.19!
There's a vid showing it in action here...

It could get very messy, unless you'd be willing to maintain the thread (reading all the new posts and updating the original post with any new information etc..)
It could turn out to be quite a bit of work!

go to:
http://m.snaptu.com
and download "snaptu" free. good JAVA program for facebook, twitter, football results, news etcetra.... You need to run JBlend on hd2 and then run "snaptu" when ever you want to use it.
You definitely have to check out Cookies Home Tab for the HD2. Definitely the most useful thing you can load on your phone and it's free.
Regards
Gerhardvr
Best app: haret.exe because it lets you load Android and other Linux OSes. Since Skyfire doesn't work anymore you can still run an Android build with full flash 10.1 support. You can keep your Winmo apps and return to it from Android just by soft-resetting.
Free apps
