Stuck download notifications - G1 General

I have two successful download notifications that are stuck in the notification bar. Initially they were apps I downloaded from market but that didn't install properly. I can clear these notifications but they always come back everytime I download something. How can I get rid of these? Any ways to clear somewhere the temp folder where apps are downloaded? Thanks for the help

I know this is really diggin deep but I have this same problem on my droid, and have seen it on another droid. Is there a fix? Right now there's 4 notifications stuck in my pulldown that randomly pop back up.

Also, i have noticed that my screen while time out and go black in the middle of me scrolling. Can anyone suggest a way to fix this? Thanks
try to reflash
Thanks! but how exactly do i reflash? i just learned how to do all of this maybe 2 days ago so i'm still really new to everything.
Did you install any lock-screen apps? I noticed that when I installed those, sometimes my notification bar would get stuck.
On the other hand, you can reflash by reinstalling Cyanogens rom.

New Market??

Trying to get back to Gmail 2.3.2 and I rebooted my phone today to find that the market icon looks different.
weird thing is that about 30 of my apps say they have updates, but from like september! wth?
anyone else run into this?
I noticed a few times 'google books' for instance was installed, but listed on the market as 'purchased, not installed' at the bottom.
Feel like my androids falling apart. back on 2.3.2 and unread count FC's all the time, keylock has been enabled instantly when the screen turns off and now a ton of my apps are in limbo...
wtf droid?!

[Q] Download status??

For some reason when I am downloading or updating apps now the progress meter no longer shows in the dropdown menu and the icon in the notification bar at the top is no longer there. Once it is done downloading, the icon reappears and shows it is updating. Does anyone know how I can get this to show up again?
***I think I may have figured out the issue: I had turned off download manager and downloads in application manager but now have turned them back on and it is still not showing the download progress. Anyone know of a way to fix this issue?

[Q] Get rid of running app in notification bar?

I find it very annoying that I get the notification that an app is running in the notification bar. I went to app manager in settings and check not to show notifications and it goes away, but the next time i reboot, it comes back. I can go back to app manager and check show notifications and then check no notifications again and it will go away. Does anyone know how to stop these notifications all together?

[Q]Notifications in status bar disappearing (CM 12.1 users)

I have used multiple different CM12.1 ROMs and was curious if I was missing a setting or something
Basically let’s say I get an email on my gmail. The notification shows in my status bar and the LED flashes
Let’s say after about 15min and I haven’t checked my phone the notification disappears from the status bar as well as the LED notification
This is occurring with multiple apps
Is there a setting that turns off notifications like this after a certain amount of time?
I looked everywhere and can’t find anything. This caused me to not notice an important email on my phone
I always figured until the actual notification or content gets acknowledged that the notification would remain
Any help is welcomed
If you stop the app, or it gets killed somehow. The notification will go away and only come back when the app has started again. Happens to me all the time with whatsapp, because i forget and clear my recent apps.
