HD 2 Comes with a MicroSD card + Pouch - HD2 General

If you read the manual you can see what's inside the box.
It also includes MicroSD card + Pounch
Does anyone know how big the SD card is going to be, and what color the pouch will be?
I'm getting mine 10:00 GMT +1 2morrow

My personal bet: a 2Gb MicroSD card and a black pouch.
I've already bought a 16Gb MicroSD card anyway, so whatever is included will be just given away

It's probably just a 2Gb card and a regular black pouch.

Why 2? As HD1 came with 8gb.....

I think they're just trying to cut back costs as much as they can. 8Gb cards don't cost that much anyways so it shouldn't be a big issue.
I know for certain that my HD2 won't come with a MicroSD card at all.

But he's from finland (judging from the location and little flag icon). Though it's still all speculation in my eyes, some retailers state you do get a pouch and SD card, while others state you don't. We'll just have to wait and see.

I order mine and it should come on the 13th!!!
xmoo, yours in Dutch, right?

1 hour ago the status changed to "on stock" so with a little bit if luck i got mine tommorrow.
Hope the postman is early because we stop here at 12, so maybe waiting a bit longer to have mine.
My HD1 did not came with a SD card and nor my TP2, they were unbranded.

MicroSD Pocket Card Reader.... On My Key Chain.

This little card reader is amazing. Its so tiny it gets lost on my key chain. I have used it many times and it works flawlessly up or down loading data from any PC that has a USB port to my HTC 8925. Very handy to have.
I rarely rave about products but for around $7.00 this little gem is a no brainier.

The sandisk 8GB card I bought last year came with a card reader and it is smaller than that one. Can be bought seperately for around the same price.

I bought a set with a microSD and the same reader as the OP a couple of months ago. Love it, and it's the fastest one I've seen so far.

Take care when using the reader as a holder for transporting/backing up. Have lost (then found) a card.
OK I've copied the key. Now, where's the lock? : )

Dun dun duh!
Now you just need to work out which one is my front door key or copy them all and also find my home address and then I'll be worried. Oh and get past my rather large stranger hating dog.
Anyway there is a technique which is widely available and allows you to defeat most yale type locks anyway so why do you even need a key?
If anyone is interested, you can get an 8GB card AND the card reader from Newegg for $18.99:

How come? Can you explain this please?
i seriously doubt that you have had any experience modding/flashing phones, when you cannot tell the difference between a genuine and counterfeit phone, maybe if the models looked even remotely similar i would believe your story...
does it run windows mobile? curious
It's even "better" then Xperia if DE correct. Trip-band only but with DualSim and G-sensor!
Ah, they forgot to put in GPS...
A pity the original X1 lacks of G-sensor and DualSim with Standby. Would be as twice as expensive I believe.

SanDisk 64GB Class 10 Speeds

Hey all I just put in my new SanDisk 64GB Class 10 memory card in my Sprint SPH-L710 GS3 and here are the results.
The internal memory writes a bit faster, but the SanDisk reads at the same speed as the internal phone memory.
I now have a grand total of 80GB of memory. I am using Directory Bind so that all my data is on the 64GB ExtSDcard.
Right click the picture icons and select open image in new tab to see speed results.

I got mine off of eBay. Make sure you get this part number SDSDQUA-064G-A11A. There is a similar looking card that is only class 6.
I paid 72.19 for mine but I see the vendor is out right now. Just search eBay for a few days until you find a good price.
I use SD Card Tester from the play store.

I disagree. It's easier to Google a simple question like and get your answer than ask it here and sit around waiting for an answer. I can see if it was a question in a rom or rooting but testing an sd card? Come on now

Change Internal SD Card? [TUTE]

Is it really that simple and then just a matter of reloading a rom onto the new memory?
I'd like more info, tips and suggestions. Cause if this is the case, I might use my 32Gb as the internal card and then my 64Gb as the external card - 96GB'S!!!
Furthermore could I just use QDLTool after the card has been replaced and copy over my existing build and the boot up? I have LXdroid 0.2 and StreakMod installed.
Tips?

I did do this yesterday, and it works like a charm. The only difficult part was to cut open the streak, but following the 'windows part' of the post was really easy.
I'm using the DSC v1.5 ROM, so probs so far. :good:

96GB? not ambitious enough ...
the internal even supports 64GB microSDXC cards ... so in total.. it would be 64GB + 64GB = 128GB :good:
however... do you have what it takes?

This sh!t is hard for somebody that babies their electronics. LMAO
Every lil click I hear I'm like oops uh oh. hahaha
Then also with my tourettes, my hands aren't as perfectly steady as I want them to be sometimes. LoL
(I have the physical fidgity, twitchy kind, not the verbal screaming and cussing kind! =P)
Also does it matter if that second lil piece of plastic is cut too? Or no? The slim piece (After you've cut the main section off), cause it keeps wanting to pop off and up more than the main square section, figured if (it's okay) I removed it it be easier to get the rest of the section up and off.

8GB to 16GB - memory swapping

I was wondering, is it possible to swap some parts from a 16GB to an 8GB, to increase memory.
Reason:
Was Considering selling my 32GB and getting a 16GB with broken screen, and a refurbished 8GB, and swapping screens over, as it's just as cheap to buy the 8GB as it is to buy the glass/LCD/digitizer. Then I was thinking, why not make the 16GB the refurbished one, by swapping over the memories only?
TL;DR, is it possible to swap the memories over, from 8GB to 16GB?

Seems like an awful lot of hassle if you already have a 32GB model?
Not sure about swapping the memory, but Im guessing it would be extremely difficult if not impossible. The below image is of the 8GB model, the nand (storage memory) is highlighted in red.

Fair enough, not here to judge anyone and I am serious when I say its difficult. It may be possible to swap the the motherboards out rather than chips themselves. It may be worth pm'ing somone in the motherboard swap thread below to see if they were successful.
