HTC HD2 - Manual? - HD2 General

Can someone upload HTC HD2 manual?

would love to see one of these myself....
always odd how the software get's leaked, phones are given out in advance, but manuals never seem to be available!!

You can get it here... and the Quick Start Guide is here...
The thanks have to go to gatling who found it first and post it in an german forum...

a billion thank yous!!!!

You R great!
Thanks!

Thanks! I think that solves the "will there be a pouch in the box" question. Shame how they can't make a hole in the device so I can put a phone strap in...

I found an post in an german forum (see my last post which i have extended)...

Wow, that's a hell of comprehensive manual!
Thank you very much for posting!

nothing about the USB host feature though...
mind you...I think if they listed everything this phone could do then the manual would be the size of an encyclopedia!!

Those Opera screenshots (the icons and the menu) look exactly like Opera does on my TP2. Does this mean the HD2 comes with Opera 9.5? If so, that's a bit dissapointing: rumours suggested version 9.7.

It's 9.7, but with the same skin as 9.5 which was HTCs custom skin.

dude...thats button flo.. and button flo sucks
I got touchflo working last week on my 8525. It's a bit unreliable though - only works sometimes. If it were more reliable I would use it all the time.
I hope that more people are focusing energy on making touch-friendly interfaces for PPC.
Does anyone know of any other freeware touch-friendly interfaces out there being worked on?
FTouchSL
Used to be FTouchflo. Might be worth a shot.
Could you upload more touchflo editions for us to download? We will be grateful.
losant, ftouchflo went commercial. If you want an updated version you gotta PAY for it...

Home screen plugins ("CommCEntric" & "Retro")

Hi
I would like to bring your attention to 2 free homescreen plugins i've made.
The first is CommCEntric - it places 2 icons on the home screen to quickly switch on & off the bluetooth and wifi radios.
You may already know of its existence, but I thought to further advertise it
The other one is Retro - it's like an all-new version of RJTime, it's a totally customizable analog clock, and it's a new release (first released a few days ago)
These plugins were also made with "eye-candiness" in mind... because i feel like WM5 and 6 has a lot to do yet in this aspect.
Please see my page at http://web.gemini.dynalias.net/default.asp?c=index_ek.xml
looks good
Can you make this so it works with pocket pcs? I have a att8525 and would like to use this but I can't this is for smartphone only.

There are loads of freeware clocks for the today screen. Many of them customisable. Here is just one example:
http://rotlaus-software.de/projects/rltoday
There is only one version with the keyboard sliding the oposite way from the TyTn

The clock I have on my Vario 2 is virtually identical. I have a piece of software on my phone called Phonealarm clicky (which isn't freeware but it is a great program and worth buying .. or at least I found it worth buying) and you can apply various today skins, one of which is a replica of the clock you want.
Hmmmmm... thinks I have been to porn sites and is going to clean my computer for me... and for free!
Well I really believe it will, so I am going to install the activeX component.
People are so helpfull in this place called the internet.

No problem, if you decide to go ahead and get the software (you can do a free trial for a bit to see if you like it), the skin you want for that clock is here clicky
the clock is available via the kaiser home plugin. this pic is from mobile planet if i remember correctly

Actually it might be. I haven't been able to test it. IF you install the Opera CAB and not the skin CAB it might be but don't take my word for it. Haven't had time to test it fully yet. I'm running it only on my Athena.

how's this version different from 9.5 that just came out?
I am glad that I am off for the next few days, I am going to test all these new apps and rom coming out.
Great job brother
Thanks 4 the new updates....
shouldn`t we make one thread about opera 9.5, think there will come more versions ????
Will any version of opera work on a NIKI With a suretype keyboard?

Not yet. These are officially beta's. I think the appropriate time to create the "master" thread is once we have word of an official final release. Of course, anyone can disagree with me.
Thanks, great software!
But, in my Cruise, the buttons are too big.
Maybe this is not a QVGA version?
Fast and stable, better than the 781 build
Is this compatible with WM5 - Or should i wait for that CAB before i attept an install?
Cheers, Mike.

Unless they do some nasty things that need the Raphael nk.exe, as some builds of Manila had... But I'm sure we can "get around" these.
Looks like a good browser, and I've been using one of the builds on my PC and it's fantastic!

Hope this supports SIP (if not, this could be the reason why they say it is for TP - hard keyboard).
Flash?
After watching the video (link above) it looks as though it will support flash, when the guy clicks on his url bar, in the drop down list is you tube, not that it matters as there are plenty of ways to watch youtube, but it does look very interesting!
