Can I add a button to dial a specific phone number? I am used to having a button that will auto-dial my audix at work and would love to have that on the new phone.
With the touchflow turned off, I dont see how to add it either, might be a difference between winmo 6.0 (treo 700wx) and winmo 6.5?

Hello,
I have installed a WM 6.5 Rom on my Xperia and now I want to install the HTC Long press end key feature that displays a quicklist.
I've already installed the .cab and configured it but when i press the end key the phone locks and doesn't display the quick list as expected.
Do i need to change something in the registry to make this happen?

I second this request.
It very practical and important for me to be able to swith between vibrate and sound, the x1 doesn't have this option by default and even after installing the cab it does not work.
The only time that it worked fine was with smaberg's ROM.
Does anyone knows how to fix this?
A quick note to tell that CSDEVCTRL works perfectly on the Rhodium. Not only it is a light unlocking application enhancing the WM unlocking, but it is incredibly useful, with a number of goodies not related to unlocking. The hard button utility is highly configurable, it can work even when phone is locked (if you wish). I use it to toggle wifi or set bluetooth off, in order to save battery. AEButtonPlus did not identify buttons correctly on the Rhodium, but this one does.

PS: the bluetooth toggle does not work at the moment due to the Rhodium stack, I use the hotkey utility to launch TurnBTOff.exe in \WIndows in order to set BT off.

This is a setting (I guess it prevents your ear to hang up when touching the screen on some phones), you can put it the way you like (in "Lock Triggers", uncheck "Lock During Call"). You can also set it so that only soft keys are locked.
Well, locked/freeze my phone a couple of times. Personally, not recommended. Don't really works well.
Well, I forgot to say that it does not look compatible with TF3D (I do not use TF3D). It is fully compatible with SPB Mobile Shell. I used it with "WM Today". Sorry !
Also the settings are not so easy to figure out : If you have a foreign Rom (French Orange for me), most important is to write the title displayed in at the top when Unlock Window is shown (Déverrouiller instead of UNLOCK for me)in the Unlock Triggers window, the same with Phone (Téléphone for me) in the Lock Triggers window).

Ha! that explained why its work for you :> Well, SPB Mobile Shell is nice too, I will wait for SPB to have them make it 100% works on TP2
Anyone know how to switch back to the original windows 6.5 start menu? I want to give it a try with touch flo.
I also wouldn't mind being able to do this. I like TouchFlo, but I like the standard Start menu much much better.

No, we said we want to keep TouchFlo, but go back to the standard 6.5 start menu. Nothing in Today Settings would do that.
same here i also would like to have the classic apps page back for touch flow anyone know how to make this happen?
Touch Flo overrides the standard WM 6.5 interface, you have to select one or the other. Going in to the today settings and selecting Windows Default you can see that it forces to uncheck touch flo.
There could be a reg edit somewhere to disable it... Hopefuly
I am not sure if it works with this phone, but I allays use a cab that was released with the Manila 2.1 VGA ports that disables the HTC Start menu. I will be trying for myself when my phone arrives on Tuesday.

You sir, are a GOD! This worked perfectly, except when I soft-reset, it started TouchFlo, but just displayed a blank today screen with my background until I hit the start button. But I never shut off my phone, so thanks, this is great!
LOL. i got this back when juicy was making his first manila 2.1 rom.
i think it is actually from xboxmod's original 2.1 port thread.
anyway it works great for me and doesn't cause any problems.
can we customized the touch flo menu? i want to remove the weather & map serach icon.

I researched this but I found nothing so forgive me if this was asked before.
I just upgraded my ROM to the new official TP2 6.5 and since WM6.5 is now all finger friendly and nice, I was wondering if I could disable the menus of TF3D without disabling the whole thing.
By menu I mean for example when you go in the "messages" tab and it says "menu". Softkeys basically ..

hi all. after installing turkish language cab, my start menu lock icon seems like start button icon. it happens only wm6.5.x roms. doesnt happen wm6.5 roms.
is there any way to change it via registy or something else?

no. thats the way 6.5.x is. if you want start button up, install 6.5... the performance is basically the same(not a fact, i just think so)...
actually it wasnt that i asked. i just get back to wm6.5. thanks anyway.
