Is it possible to get the Dual to vibrate & ring at the same time - I've not been able to work it out...
or is this a case of RTFM ?
and can you adjust the timeout of the auto-keylock feature?
tis a great phone though, it's my first smartphone, having come from an SE W810i. Been using it with a bluenext 32 channel gps receiver & tomtom.. that is a bit nice.
Thanks for your patience

Not sure if it is a case of RTFM because I didn't read it myself, but you can set vibrate and ring in start--->settings--->sounds&alerts(?)(i have norwegian version(lyder og varslinger)--->alerts(?)(again, norwegian version(varslinger)--->select phone: incoming calls. There you can select if your phone should vibrate and ring, vibrate then ring and some other settings.. Hope this helps!

Yeah you might be right - about the manual!
I have it now, thanks - I'd not worked out the rather simple logic of the dropdown! LOL
Chaps, any idea on the auto-lock timeout thing?
I want to avoid "beep , beep " sound when i dial using the number. does anyone know how? thanks
Try settings>Personel>>phone>Keypad=Off.
No more tones when you press the buttons...
Cheers...

Even though I dont own an HD2 (yet).. try going in settings tab then down the bottom choose "menu/all settings", then choose personal, then phone and sellect keypad "off".. take care
Thank you, that worked (can't believe I missed it).
no worries... Its easy to get lost some times in wm, even more so when this is masked by htc sense ui
Great, thanks for the tip! I thought I had been through all sub-menus but I somehow missed the "Personal" one

I know there are some things that I just missed that were staring me right in the face ...
Anyone know how to disable this through the registry? I'm trying to sort this out when XDA_UC runs.
I flash A LOT and it's a pain to do this every single time.

Hey community,
sorry i did not find a thread of this topic, maybe there is one and i used the false search term. Not so easy to describe but everyone should know what i mean.
If i start to make a call there is not just the call tone. Before the call tone there is annoying sound which goes up in the tone like "düdüdülüt". Really annoying.
Does someone know how to disable this nerve killer?
Thanks and a nice weekend
Turn off call divert and call waiting
I have a dutch version, ill try to translate:
Go to Settings, call settings, all calls, status tones
(option #2,#1,#6 in settings)
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
I rather find the volume up on full volume tone very annoying... The one from the htc phones sounds better...
Hello everybody
I was wondering if there is a way for the led to blink and also to hear an alarm tone for missed calls or sms even if the device goes to sleep.

try it with KeypadLedControl and G-alarm , go to http://www.ageye.de/index.php?s=galarm/about to get it
what exactly does KeypadLedControl do?
now I found MSentinel from below forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=529227
It will not fix the phone not waking up when a message is receive, but if you miss a message, it will notify you once again, with sound and led notification cause it will wake the phone, been testing it now and it works.

if it can not work for you, maybe you could try DontForget can you get in http://magazin.softimage.cz/dontforget/app-description/
and use these regs file
I appreciate your efforts but it doesn't work neither, really it works, but it awakes the phone wheter there is a missed call or not, i say, it's awaking the phone all the time. The app looks fine but this is a badass phone. Anyway, thank you.

I`m looking about the same.
Charging and incoming call indication LED to continue blinking until there is missed call. If some one found solution please share.
Those application do not fit Xperia X2: Blinker.1.2; DontForgetPPC; LeoExtendedNotifications_v0.92
I use S2U2. This software has an alarm (tone or vibrator) for missed calls or sms with many features. It works even if the device goes to sleep.

But no support for led
