I need the help of those who have the T-Mobile MDA Touch Plus with the original T-Mobile WM 6.1 ROM Update (preferable the English ROM).
My Touch Plus was updated on Saturday at T-Mobile Hungary with the English 6.1 ROM. Everything seems fine, but the icons in the Settings and Programs are much smaller, so there are now 4 icons in a row, not 3. It’s very annoying because some of the icons overlaps each other, and I liked much more the 3 icons in a row version. I wonder if it’s a bug in my T-Mo 6.1 ROM or all the 6.1 ROM are like this? If someone with the original T-Mobile UK 6.1 ROM could check, that would be great. Also, I’ve read somewhere, that in 6.1 you can turn off the recent program list. I cannot find where. I only found the HTC Large Start menu icon, but that was in WM 6.0 as well.

Nope, T-Mobile calls the Touch Dual as Touch Plus.
Anyone?
I'm sure that I'm not the only one with a WM 6.1 Touch Dual...

Hi, I'm desperately searching for the Black HTC 3G Video Dialer Pad.

These two skin are similar to the original one.
Are there any Kaiser/Diamond style skins which are applicable in wm6.1?
When I use the one which is for wm 6.0 in wm 6.1, the 2G dial key becomes dial record.
Any solution for this problem or any Kaiser/Diamond style skins which are applicable in wm6.1?

Hi. I am brand new to this site and have been reading for 3 hrs now. i have found a lot but still unsure how to solve my issue and get the right software.
i am hoping an experienced member can help me quickly.
I have a TYTN II and would like to get Touch Flo 2 (Manilla) on it. Thus I have 3 questions:
1. I want to upgrade to WM 6.1. Do I do that upgrade first via the HTC web site? Or does the manila upgrade include WM 6.1?
2. Does the installation of manilla include the OS or it is just as simple as installing a program?
3. Can u please point me in the direction of the latest stable version of Manila for the TYTN II without any fancy skins. I want the original skin.
4. And finally, i have an older MDA running WM5. Will manila work on it? Or is this asking too much?

1. You'll have to get it through the official HTC site.
2. Manilla is a 'skin' that sits on top of wm6.1, refer to the various threads for install instructions.
3. Currently release 19b, but be aware its no where near 'complete' - it functions but no way i could use it daily on my TyTnII.
4. Maybe. Probably not. Try it and let us know.

yes it works with TYTN II (also called kaiser) actualy it works 100% with some of the cooked roms you find in the Kaiser forum. and it's perfectly capable of day to day use. if release 19b is not usefull for day to day use then go for a cooked rom because all of them are perfect for day to day use.
I've been runing manila 2d on all my devices for weeks without any problems.

Since i have updated wm 6.5 all icons, tabs, sliders dont work on my touch pro2 with the new htc sense 2.1.
Everything used to work fine with td3d 2.1 on wm 6.1
can soomeone help me? i hate those new ugly icons that come with the 6.5 upgrade.

Hello everyone.
Recently i updated my HTC Touch Diamond to WM 6.5. Everything installed just the way it supposed to have. But i got 2 issues which makes me wanna come back to my old rom.
Previously i got old 1.93.479.3 stock rom but i needed to install it because i bough my phone from guy in sweden (im from poland) and needed rom in my native language.
To update i used Windows Revolution Manila 2.1 Edition 1.1A (23017) by mike1986 which had both windows mobile 6.5 and TF3d 2.1. And generally i love my new rom. Exception is 2 things:
1. What i cannot digest is the dialer. I just dont like. It is tachi's dialer with black skin on it. I would like to go back to my stock Diamond dialer (if it possible with the slider).
Dont get me wrong. Im not the type of guy who writes complain and wait for ready answer. I tried to make it on my own for 2 days now. I managed to change tachi's skin to white and it looked much better but to look great i need old white one. I found 3 cabs with that but none of that actually made things better (installed all: Diamond_PhoneCanvas_full_Eng_without_battery_icon.cab , xmatrix_PhoneDialerBlackS2A.cab. and Diamond_PhoneCanvas_Slide.cab - dont remember from where on xda i get it - sorry).
When i install any of them, tachi is gone but instead getting my stock diamond dialer i get wm dialer but without any skin - jsut black and white. When i choose to not use HTC dialer i get wm dialer again but with skin on it.
Dunno what im doing wrong but it is possibility that this is it - im a lumberjack not a telephone soft expert.
2. Dont know why, dont know how but in my new soft keyboard choosing is limited to only 1 position. I cant change keyboard layout in fly. Instead i need to run some .cab to which shortcut i have in settings area. Can i do something about it? I found already intelwrite for my new windows mobile but sometimes i need to change layout to phone because it is hard holding something (driving wheel or something else).
I wont bother u any more and im just counting that u will find a little time to help me. Thanks in advance.

i'm newbie here and would like to ask your recommendation.
i'm using htc touch pro 2 (T7373) and when first bought it, it was preinstalled with WinMo 6.5 official roms WWE Asia.
after few weeks, i found that Winmo6.5 is sluggish and feel like to downgrade to winmo6.1 and resulted me to download and flash the winmo 6.1 Asia wwe rom.
with that, i'm happy since it is faster than 6.5, no lagging issue, sms also smooth. but 2 things i missed much are home weather tab and twitter/peeps application.
is there any option for me to install those thing into my device. i wish that i can have twitter tabs in my touch flo 3d and also, the home screen displaying our current location and weather.
the existing weather can only accomodate preset location and not a real time location.
any helps will be much appreciated and sorry for my local english.

I think the advanced features you want are only available in the 6.5 (or 6.5.x) ROM. You might try flashing a newer ROM. Since you are flashing WWE, you might try the latest NRG ROM - it is really excellent, and based on the latest software from MS.
