What can I do if I lose signal with protective case on - weak signal? - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

[Edited]
I thought the reason why my hermes cant receive signal was because the antenna was missing. But after testing, for some reason whenever I have the battery cover on and a crystal hard case on at the same time, I can't receive any signal whatsoever. But it does receive signal with just the battery cover on, no case on. Then I tried it without the backcover, and just the crystal case and my phone receives signal. Does anybody else have the same problem as me, or is my antenna damaged sorta?

drops calls like an iPhone 4

if i hold it like a normal person would hold it, it drops calls like crazy. i find myself having to do the iPhone hold on it and it works fine. anybody else having this problem? any solutions?
Absolutely no problems here with reception and calls regardless of how I hold the phone.
I haven't dropped a single call. I even kept reception in a spot here I have dropped calls with every other phone I have ever had.

Same. Especially since Samsung has been so bad in this regard.
i think i hold the phone like most people do.. no problems at all.
I've noticed that if I hold my hand over the bottom of the backside of the phone, I will lose a couple bars. But my signal isn't that great to begin with. Never dropped a call, though.
I don't get any drop calls, I held my phone like the way it should be and no problem at all. I have the iPhone 4 also and I like the Vibrant more
I was on a call today to a land line and my call dropped 3 times while I had full signal strength. Somethings fishy. The phone was in speakerphone mode in a cradle.

I'm pretty sure that's not what this thread is about, but it does sound like an issue. I've never had a dropped call on T-Mobile, unless I went into a dead zone which only happened once. That was also like 5 years ago.
havent had any dropped calls even in my old apartment where I wasnt able to get any signal with my blackberry.
Probably a lemon, get a replacement.
My bars are all over the place when I hold it with my right hand, but I normally talk on my left and I've yet to loose a call. Sounds awesome via the speaker too.
Quit trying to be as good, or bad, as the iPhone. Jesus.
You know, I've noticed that when I press END I have a dropped call, just like the I gadget.
The Samsung Vibrant does have the antenna built on the lower left corner. If you look at disassembling process from youtube, you will find it justified.
Some do claim their Vibrant will have a similar death-grip issue when holding where the antenna is built, but so far not much ppl reported an actual drop call, just a few bars dropped which may affect the quality of the call~

Could be the fact that its too new..Almost every electronic has problems. Remember when the 360 and ps3 would litteraly explode? Same thing with this id guess
I haven't dropped any calls yet, but I've missed a few because I was holding the phone in my left hand and using the browser or typing an SMS. I will just randomly get voice mail notifications, without the phone ever ringing. When I get the notification I'll look at the signal strength meter and there will be no bars. Switching the phone back to my right hand (or setting it down) will return to full signal strength.

Dropping calls (beep.beeb.beep)

Lately i have a dropping call issue. When i am in a phone conversation sometimes the call is getting dropped. Before it is dropped i hear beep.beep.beep. but don't see any message on my screen ?
Does the beep code mean that the network doesn't have enough capacity?
I'm on Energy rom + tested radio 2.12.50 and 2.10.50 (didn't had any problems before)
Three beeps usually mean a network related issue, maybe it couldn't hand over between cellsites or your network coverage dropped enough to drop the call.
I'm just at home when the issue occures, so there is no need for migrating to another cellsite. But it's a well crowded area i live in, so that could be a problem i guess.

F320L Poor Reception - need help

I have some issue with LG g2 F320L
during call other party or person can't hear me and I have to speak much louder but still they complaint breaking of voice. I have tested with hand free and almost same problem. Also during call phone start dropping signal.
Also I have tested in open air I mean outside room or home and observed much better call quality & less drop of signal but inside building it start dropping signal during call. (before call signal strength is Full).
Any idea what is wrong with my phone ? how to fix it.
I have tested on skype, viber and found no problem.

Is there any way to improve call quality?

I'm on Verizon and recently switched from a M8 to this phone (just swapped my SIM over) and have noticed that cell reception has been an issue. This was a brand new unit and otherwise seems to work perfectly, but I've had numerous calls drop mid call, or I'll lose audio in one direction in the middle of a call. It's terrible in the car, to the point that I've had to pull over and stay in one spot to actually speak to someone (I'm using a headset while in the car, but I've also had the issue when using just the handset). I'm still on stock 7.1.2, but I noticed that today was particularly bad. I'd rather not switch back to the M8, but not being able to stay on a call w/o audio dropping out is an issue.

Fixed my cracked screen but now I have terrible reception?

I replaced my screen myself from buying a replacement screen and watching a few youtube tutorials. After I got the back off, it was actually quite easy.
But since I put everything together, I've had really terrible reception. I get 4G but the signal is low, but I can't seem to make a call. It says "mobile network is unavailable" sometimes or sometimes it just doesn't connect when I try to make a call. I can't receive calls either.
I assume something happened to the antenna when I replaced it? Anybody have any ideas? Everything appears to be fine, but I'm not sure where the antenna even is.
