Home page: Calender (appointments) to Pocket Informant - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Themes and Apps

I found something interesting while fiddling with my TP2. I've been trying to change the Home page: Calender (appointments) to point to PI with no avail. PI is the default PIM for my phone and the right soft key was changed to point to it.
Here's the catch: When TF3D (Manila) shows an appointment, it will open to MS poutlook calender. It so happened that I have no recorded appointment showing today and it merely showed "Calender." I pressed on it and it went on to fire up PI, much ot my surprise. I added an appointment and tested but it went to MS poutlook. I deleted the appointment and the "Calender" again opens up PI.
Now if someone can help to point me to the registry on the calling up of appointments by TF3D from MS poutlook, it may just be possible to change the default calender to whatever we choose (PI and what have you).
Thanks in advance.

This is something I am having trouble with too!
I have used SSMaHo and when click on "calendar" in the programs screen it works fine....just not for the appointment links on the today screen.
Thanks in advance!

Would be great. I have been searching and found nothing so far....

FT3D and PI

monthly calendar Today Plugin with appointments?

Is there a Today plugin will display the monthly view of a calendar with color coding or other indicators for appointments for each day?
I know rltoday can display a monthly calendar but last I check it doesn't have any way of signifying if there is an appointment for that day.
dunno if I understood your request, but I use SPB Diary
not sure about a plugin that can just display the monthly view... but I do know that tapping the calendar icon in Pocketbreeze will popup a month calendar that shows dots for appointments.
Sorry, that is about as much help as I can be.
SoBBie
PocketBreeze has a 'pinned' calendar and a pop-up calendar. The pinned calendar shows the entire month on the Today Screen, but does not show the appointment timeslots on the calendar.
The pop-up calendar will show the timeslots, but it's only displayed when you select it.
In my screen captures, I have iLauncher at the top and PocketBreeze below.
Most of my appointments are 'free' so they don't display on the pop-up calendar.
Maybe someone in the SBSH PocketBreeze forum will know more about the product. http://forums.sbsh.net/index.php?showforum=7
I am looking for a plugin that displays the monthly calendar with some sort of coding (different color, etc.) that tells me when I have an appointment at a quick glance. But I wanted this on the today screen, without having to press anything to pop up. It doesn't have to show as much detail as that pop up calendar on pocketbreeze, but maybe just to le tme know that I have something going on that day displayed as a different color.
How's your Japanese?
This super-small plug-in does what you want I think. It gives you a calendar on your today screen and adds a plus next to any day you have appointments.
Problem is that it is only in Japanese. However, the options on it are very minimal and if you play with it a little then you can know what all the menus are saying without actually being able to read them.

Double-posted so I'll slide you a screenshot. The screenshot is old, but it works on WM6 - I just tested it.

Not easily. At least, not easily for me.

Change the program which is started by 'manila'

Hello.
I've searched a lot, but failed to find anything which solves my problem.
Is there a way to change the program which is launched by 'manila'?
E.g.
I've installed 'Pocket Informant' as my favorite agenda application.
Even if I set Pocket Informant to my default calendar application, the standard calendar is launched when I touch on schedules at the home screen in TF3D.
Any help is appreciated.
TIA

Works just fine for me.
Thx a lot.

Titanium: Calendar Panel working with Pocket Informant

When Pocket Informant 8 is your default calendar application, when you tap on any calendar page or use the right soft key 'Today'
It all does the same thing, opens up PI calendar.
Would be wonderful to have a page open a new appointment, a page to open month view, agenda view, ...
Any Ideas?
If this is impossible, a new panel could be created with these static links, but then how would you get a page showing today's appointment & tomorrow's appointment?
Any other ideas on this?
Is Pocket Informant 8 compatible with WM 6.5 ????????

Are you sure it works fully? There's a known issued with reoccurring events in PI on WM 6.5:

Apparently this won't be fixed until PI 9.

Anyone Using PI 9.01 On the HD2

Has anyone installed PocketInformant 9.01 on to their HD2? If so, any issues? Can you make PI the default Calendar for the Home Screen?
Thanks.

Hi,
I use PI 9 on my HD2. No issues so far. I have put the PI icon in a tab on the homescreen and unchecked the box for the normal calender-tab.

Just to make sure I understand you...You were able to turn off the default Calendar on the bottom tabs and add the PI link instead? I didn't realize that you could ADD links to the bottom tabs; I thought you could only remove them. Can you send a screen shot?
Thanks.

Hi there,
No, I didn't explain it good.
The tabs with Contacts, SMS, Mail, Internet etc you can't change. I just unchecked the Calender tab for those tabs so you won't see it. When you leave it in the tabs, it's just the normal Windows calender whats in it, even when you make PI your default calender.
So as I said, I 'disabled' the normal calender tab, and I put a shortcut to PI on the frontpage under the clock.
Hope this explains it for you.
Cheers.

Ahhh, that's what I thought. Thanks.
softkey
Or the PI link under the left soft key (normally "telephone") so you have an extra tab/button/shortcut. The telephone can already be activated by the left hard key (or via contact). In PI I use the calender, as the task is quite hard to ues with the Leo. It;s virtually impossible to key in a date in a new task. And contacts is less good than all the new fuctionalities is Sense. But the calendar is worth it,now you can go up/down/left and right. Amazing.

Change Calendar

Hello.
i am a Pocket Informant user and wish to change from the Sense calendar to the PI Calendar.
I have had a look through the registry and found nothing - least with the settings i am using. I have also trolled through the various files and folders.
I thought that it would simply be a matter of finding the EXE that launches the Sense Calendar and renaming to old and replacing with the PI Calendar.exe, but i can't find it.
Can anyone help?
