i've installed manilla 2.0 on my touch find (cruise, polaris) and it works perfectly, but thje problem is that the phone doesn't see my microsd card, it says: not installed. Any one can help me please?
Moreover, i've instaled the manilla 2.0 becouse my speaker doesn't work, and i tought that i'd repaer it with new software, but it is still broken. How can i fixe it?

your speaker problem must surely be hardware related so use your warranty or send it to HTC to fix it.
now with manilla i advise you to install one of the rom´s in here that come with it(3lite VI would be my choice although VII is out).
I managed to get manilla working perfectly with cab installation(back in the days when manilla got out,no rom´s with it) but i acknowledge that was prone to failure.When is built-in with the rom works smoother and flawless as long as you choose the right rom...i dont use it,neither manilla or any other shell...plugins FTW i use less memory and have all the things shells have and more in today screen....no panels,no slides,no nothing(Wisbar advance 3,SPB Diary 2.2,Iconsoft phoneEx)

it seems we were not given a cube primeraly because we have a bottom-end machine.
we have the same chipset as for instance the touch, yet we have no wifi and 3g (we do have GPS whichs kicks ass!) not that 3g and wifi is neccesary, i think 3g and wifi have been disabled in our device.
pls read this thread, and if you can help with the files that would be great!

Touch Cube woks on Pharos
I installed Touch Cube (ported from Polaris) into Pharos the other days. Work fine for me...only a bit slower than 'Elfin, Dual, Polaris' while operating. Need some more registry adjustment, I guess.
Screen is not flat
It works on Pharos, I have tried and finally removed.
BTW, I don't think running Cube in Pharos is good because the LCD screen is not flat like Elf/Elfin, Dual or Cruise.

It might not be, but it wasnt a good idea for the touch cruise either because they dont have the grapics driver ive heard complaints that its very slow on the polaris
I still want it .. because then i can choose whether to keep it or not... its mostly eye candy anyway. I find the htc home plugin works great too
Shame I didnt get a reply from suracha, bita would you like to share what you did to get the cube installed and working?

I have installed touch stettings v1.22 by Carlos(fatattitude.com)
I installed the Kokotas cabs quickdial and Biotouch.
Also I've put files in the windows dir: MediaHubMini.exe, APLauncher.exe,LaunchStartupApp.lst and startupbiotouch.exe
A guy that has the polaris has sent me his reg settings.. so now Im looking through those!
And it seems i miss some in the hklm\biotouch so Im gonna look some more and then change my settings maybe that will help!

all working nice except very low MICROPHONE quality and not so good signal in some hard to reach places. People doesn hear me very good. I had to return to official wm6 rom.
I was just thinking about upgrading to this wm 6.1 rom but hearing it affects the phone functionality, i might back down. Anyone else that has updated their rom to wm 6.1 post your opinion please. Thank you.

did u try to talk with it? does anyone on the other side report a poor mic quality? A lot of peple couldnt hear me good. Otherwise is good.
Original wm6 for 614c u can find on the hp website. I restored my phone with that tool.

I tried it for couple of days.The PPC become very slow ( slow responding ) and some times it will hange if u r a heavy user. Software wise its excellent but I dont recommend it for you, my self i reterned back to old English/ Chainess one ( 5.2.20721.1.4.0 ), It's the fatest ever room i tested plus it's excellent in term of compatibility with the arabizer software which i used.

Here is my feedback (more like first impressions as i installed it yesterday)
+++ It's faster than the original rom by means of booting, loading programs and file system read/write not tested with sk tools but it's obvious)
+++ The microphone level is ok, i have tested it in real talk - no problems at all)
+++ The camera works better - i had some problems with AF in the 6.0 official HP rom)
+++ It's wm 6.1 (has task manager and stuff)
+++ More free RAM on boot.
--- Some problems with displaying time/date in cyrillic - i guess it's the system fonts
--- Some issues with Active sync - it won't sync with the pc and sometimes it doesnt connect at all.
--- Net cf is v 2.0 and it's not working properly - some of the programs based on netcf (like keygens) exit with errors with the netcf dlls.
Please report your feedback. Do you have problems like those and how do you solve them.
i've been using the ROM for quite about 2 weeks now (20270 to be precise) with M2D mod. Works perfectly, loads faster, there are no lags or hangs.
Only thing that bothers me is that i cannot download email although the internet connection works. But this might be some issue with the settings and frankly i was too lazy to check it out

Hi can anyone please tell me how to upgrade my ba to wm 6.5 from wm 6? , i used the wizard to upgrade from wm2003 to wm6 about 2 yrs ago, any help much appreciated, love this pda and i love using it as a phone too
basicly, when your device is already upgraded, there is not much to do.
you probably don't have to worry about sim lock and radio roms and storage sizes anymore, since apparently, it all worked fine so far.
so all you need to do is download any wm6.5 rom, unpack it, and make a RUU folder, containing the rom itself (nk.nbf) and a few other files named for example maupgradeut_noid.exe and getdevicedata and so on.
then you hard reset your device by pressing camera+record+power+reset and set the menu options clear registry hive and format storage to "YES" and enable kitl to "NO" using the camera and record buttons to flip and switch, confirm that with the mail button.
then you put your device into bootloader mode by pressing reset+record+power, kill active sync, connect the device to the pc and start maupgradeut_noid. if the 2nd screen shows you at least the version of the rom you go to, you are fine and can start the upgrade.
as soon as it is finished, use the hard reset method described above to prepare the device for the first start and then you might want to use "getting started" on the device to set it up and set up sync to get your pim data back. i shortened this description as you might remember a lot of stuff, or so i hope. most of what i wrote should ring a bell, if not, please feel free to have a look in the wizard for upgrades from wm5 to wm6 -=here=- or simply ask again, what troubles you.

hi Tony thanks 4 ure help, when u say any rom is that only those specific for ba or are they all universal? i downloaded WM65-23052 & EnergyROM_RAPHAEL_20090811_Titanium or should i stick to the ones on the ba wizard page eg r6? i guess its the latter
of course you can only use blueangel roms found in the ba wm6 section, i mean, if you have a dvd writer that can read any disk, you wouldn't shove a slice of salami in there, would you?
the roms are so far interchangable as being WWE and work with every BA worldwide, but you need a blueangel rom, because of the rom's structure, memory consumption, drivers and so on, and after all, the buttons and the display resolution.
i once had a case, where someone tried to flash a charmer rom to a ba, that rom was way too big, and also the files were completely different, so he couldn't get through with it on his own and asked, because he would have messed up his ba with that pretty bad.
so, conclusively, 23052 builds are nice, but wait, till it's coming for the BA. i think d-two is working on it, maybe you want to have a look at the 23004 german rom thread, i asked him and he is gonna make an english version too, but until then you might want to catch status updates there.

with the current releases there are no major differences between d-two's and xplode's build (except for the language) but what i wrote was about the next builds, they're both working on 23047 or 23052 builds, but d-two has the advantage that he has overcome the know sync and sms bugs, so his build will probably be the first of those two to come out. although he is rather new to this forum and so far he only supported his own wm6.5 build 23004 german, that is a guy you better keep an eye on. he is making fast progress and maybe will become one of the major chefs soon.
hi again please can you tell me how to do a wm6.5 hard reset & also how to get into into bootloader mode as to reload a new rom eg d2's, also i did notice there were 2 excel icons in msoffice maybe a bug many thanks

Hi Tony everything on explodes exroms installed ok except jbed, is that java? Also i looked at xplodes manila thats really nice, i guess thats on the latest phones , its like a mini o/s, so u would just install that after u install a 6.5 rom?
yes, jbed is the java applet manager.
for manila, i wouldn't say it is a mini os, it is more of an alternative gui, it replaces the titanium today screen with a touchflo one, but it also just features basic functions, photo viewing, music playing and does not alter the start menu or any add-on apps, most of the functions are also available in titanium or for titanium as an add-in, let's say facebook or stuff like that.
the time to install doesn't really matter, you can also install other apps first, whatever, you only need to know that after you install it, you have to deactivate "default" in today plug-ins and also all the others, because you can have only manila as your today plugin then and then you should find a "touch to start touchflo" button on your today screen and then you'll see, whether it works or not. that really depends from user to user, and between the different devices, roms, countries and manila versions, maybe you have to try several versions before you actually find one that runs in an acceptable speed, because that seems to be the general issue when it comes to porting manila.
thanks i may just stick 2 what i have, d2,s new 6.5.1 rom is beta so would that except xplodes extrom 23004 cabs? or is it best to wait for him to put his own one out?

I have been absent for so long time but I was too busy to follow up all your work guys.
I have 2 simple questions that couldnt be answered by a little search I did.
I am looking for the fastest more stable and plain wm 6.5 rom with only touch flo 3d on it.
I am not a heavy user of this pda. It is mostly used as a simple phone and a gps navigator using destinator 7. (i may switch to i-go 8 in the near future)
I really do basic stuff so I really dont need all the nice goodies you preinstall on the cooked roms I have read about.
i forgot to mention that i currently have my touch cruise with
official rom wm 6.1 3.13.405.0 WWE
radio 1.59.42.15
Any help?
p.s. sorry if my search wasnt good enough but I was absent for a year and a half and it seems really difficult to discover the exact things I am asking.

hm......i have succesfully installed hard-spl and also succesfully installed latest radio rom 1.59.46.12
i also installed succesfully pcarvalho's rom. now only thing to do is to find a clean 6.5 rom. I saw that installing the driver for touch flo 3d is really easy.
sigh...i feel sleepy now but at least i didnt bother any of you guys with my silly first questions
I'm not a pro here but have been following that 3D driver development for Polaris and tested that TF3D port on my Cruise. Unfortunately current TF3D on Polaris is good only for testing/fun/lulz/whatever and a lot of headache in everyday use (the first second I saw it, I knew I couldn't live with that slowness and bugness every day ).
My unpretentious advice is you better get latest pcarvalho's 6.5 rom (usin it for everyday - works good) and install Manila 2D v2.0 from HTC Mega on top of that. You may also consider the Kostas244-Rom with Manila 2D v.2 already cooked in there. As for those tons of extra stuff - I don't need it either but just don't mind it being there if it doesn't hit RAM or processor time too hard
P.S. My opinion is the dream of properly working TF3D on Polaris will never come true :sigh

Good morning everyone, I have a serious problem ... lol.
I have tried all (I said all) roms from this site amazing and wonderful. I love the design manilla 2d and hate the titanium.
My problem is: I do not think a WM6.5 ROM with manila 2d to not get warning "low memory" on my htc touch elf. I already tried installing the Manila 2d on a clean ROM with wm 6.1 htc touch, but it was good.
Another problem I have: I want to qualqur cost the digital clock that comes in manila, it is very beautiful ... the problem is that whenever I finish any connection, or some program and put on the screen at home, the hours go back one hour behind by about 2 seconds and return to normal again. That's a bummer, I tried in HKLM to change the delay time, but only solved the delay when the phone is in sleep mode and switches to normal mode.
Please, if someone can help me, I need a rom with manilla already installed, but it uses little memory in order to install a ROM 6.5 with manila already included.

Not quite sure what you are asking here (its early and I'm not quite with it) bt I'll reply anyways.
From what I understand, your installs of Manilla 2D are taking up to much space on your installs, leaving you less space to sinatll apps straight to the phone?
Have you tried all of the mods in [UPG] P_D Optimizations [03.14.10: ELFin HD2 Theme] ? This has a lot of tweaks and space saving optimisations for the Elf(in) and are very well explained as well. Could be worth a shot.

I'm confused to what you mean. You say it didn't boot, but it worked? How so?
Have you tried using M2DC to remove some tabs to see if it works. You may have to disable footprints unless you have installed that part seperately.
try milky 6682 if u havent tried it ..... consumes 34mb memory on default
