I Have a big problem with my new Jade. I have upgraded form the oficial site (htc.com) with this program : _HTC Touch 3G_MR2009_RUU_Jade_HTC_Europe_2.32.401.2_Radio_Sign_12.41.30.16_0.41.30.12_Ship without error... but after reboot, the phone is always "off" and curiously it does not ask the pin code of my sim card (proximus - belgian provider).
A help will be much apreciated and my apologies for my bad english.
Switch on your service by pressing the icon next to the batteryicon on top. Or use the commmanager and enable your telephone. Wait a few seconds and you will be asked for your pin.
I've try this several times but does not work. Thanks for your reply.
Solved !!!! I have installed stockSPL and all OK. Thanks for help.

first of all , hope to put this issue in the correct forum path....
my friend has a problem with the Pro2, as you can see by the attach , concerning the keyboard password lock.
His password doesn't works and also performing all the reset type , after the reboot the mobile starts with the keyboard locked (only emergency number is possible call).
he has reported me that at the first time, the mobile has gave to him an alphanumeric code to try to unlock the code but it doesn't solved the issue.
probably re-installing the software (6.5) the problem is solved but he doesn't want loss the date / appointments due the fact he has a doctor.
please help us.

Did he ever use Activesync or Google Sync? If he did, most of his information sould be saved that way. Also, you may want to try doing a hard reset but only after exausting all attempts to back your data up. Send a couple of PM to Senior memebers or Moderators, you might get some help that way!!

principal problem is that is not possible connect the mobile to pc in order to use activesync or other program due the fact the mobile is locked....and not save data has been performed before....
Double chack that his SIM card is in correctly.
Same exact thing happened to me. My phone battery was at about 10% and when I tried the password that I had set... it didn't work. This made me frantic and very ticked off. I had a ROM on my SD card so i just reflashed from there. Since then I always install a different locking app then the stock one. I just can't trust it. So I think youre only option is to hard reset and hopefully your contacts are saved to the SIM so they won't be deleted.
hello my phone Kaiomy Aegis 1288 (3G HTC Touch clone) started to become slow and after a soft reset only started to introduce the first and second splash screen and the second screen.
I also can no longer be located by SmartSync. :-\
Searching in xda forum found that it allows a disaster recovery of keys by pressing power + up + down volume, ai this point it looks for a file called k3img.bin the sd card should be formatted as fat 16.
when I turn the phone by pressing the keys mentioned above it finds the file has more than one error in step 4 is invalid while updating image: version check error :'(
I tried different images, most have the same message.
I need help to solve this problem already and I thank everyone who help me thanks
Today I tried to use the IDT to install a new rom.
Unfortunately, the IDT did not detect my phone.
Is there a way to remove the lock version check, so you can put a new rom from the sd card, without showing the error version check error?
I tried contacting the Kaiomy support, but I had no answer.
I do not know if I'm using it wrong the IDT.
I also tried the first aid, but the download button is not activated.

I have problems with the Message Center since I update my Xperia X8 to 2.1 it disapear and I can't configure it. After update mobile asks me to get operator information, but I wrongly press the not button and I don't see that message again -.-
There's no visible configuration menu on the mobile now, but I find this dialing sequence to do that:
1. Open your dialler and dial: *#*#4636#*#*.
2. From the menus which appear, select Phone Information.
3. Scroll down to SMSC.
4. Enter the SMS centre number given by your provider in this box.
5. Select Update.
I tried this, but reports me an "update error" :S
My operator center message number is: +34609090909
I don't know what to do, some sugestion to solve my problem?
Try running the setup guide again.
It should appear in your app drawer, with a magic wand for an icon.

I solved my problem changuing my SIM card for another of the same operator and that runs the setup guide, is the same as yours but more ineficient, then your solution is the right one on this case, thank you

And i didn't solve it yet. I'm not very good at english, so something there i didn't catch :S
On 1.6 x8 was able to send message.
On 2.1 it was unable to do it.
Now i root my x8 on 2.2.9 FroyoBread 0.25, and still not effect...
Please help me, i will be so greatfull.
EDIT: I done same step just like magnustor and it didn't work on 2.2.9

I have the same problem. I guess the answer lies in old SIM cards that those with the sms centre problem have.
I was right about the old SIM cards. I exchanged my old card with new one, keeping my old number of course.

I had a problem while i'm trying to unlock screen, the device is not responding, i just can input numbers.. but when i'm trying to press UNLOCK nothing happened.
FULL STORY:
I was changing "Network: Call Forwarding setting" then the phone stop responding, so i removed the battery to switch the device down, then after 1 hour i put the battery back, then I've tried to use my general lock-screen password to unlock device but "Wrong Password" message keep shows!! I've tried many times until the device stop responding, then I tried to leave the device for 24 hour in both ways (with battery & without it) then trying back.. but nothing changes :S
Please help me back i don't have any backup and i need my data inside!!!
my phone Omnia II 8GB, using windows mobile 6.5.3 (it comes as original ROM when i bought it)!

Hmmm I'm not a specialist my self but I'll give it a try, are U sure that it's the password to enter the phone (that the device is asking for) and not the PIN code for your SIM card? Sorry but I'm not familiar the GT-i8000 stock loaded with a 6.5.3. ROM. Where is the data stored? When it's on the SD card, you might give it a try to readout the SD card in your PC.

I have a Galaxy Fame GT-S6810P and I have a big problem with him.
When I try to make a call, I am receiving Not registered on network error.
Unsuccesfull try:
1. Restart the phone -nothing.
2. Installing new OS - nothing
3. Changing 3 different sim cards - nothing
4. Changing 2G-3G - Nothing.
Im also having a correct IMEI.
What should I do next?
