Iolite not so popular? - Touch Cruise 2 General

I noticed that the forums for Touch Diamond 2 and Touch Pro 2 have more activity. Does it somewhat mean that Touch Cruise 2 is some kind of underdog? Or has it to do with the release time? Since Touch Diamond is gonna be release shortly after Touch Cruise 2, so people would rather wait a while?
I've also got a rather noobish question...
In Singapore, it's called Touch Cruise 2, where does the name Iolite come from? If it came from the manufacturers, then why don't retailers use the name Iolite instead of Touch Cruise 2?
Just curious, regards and thanks!

Iolite is not a model that stands on top of the line, so it doesn't seem to be in the spotlight as Diamond2 or Pro2.
On top of that there is no hardSPL for Iolite yet, so you are able to cook ROMs. But no one can flash it.
So maybe when hardSPL is available there will be much more activity in this part of the forum.

Don't know the exact reson, but HTC has always had codenames for their phones. Names you don't see in the stores.
Touch HD - Blackstone
Touch Cruise - Polaris
SE Xperia X1 - Kovksy
Maybe because in the beginning HTC didn't release phones, just made them for retailers who released them by the name they gave the phones.
MDA Vario 3 etc.

Sorry, my mistake. No kitchen from udK available yet.
But you can always create your own kitchen using ervius' visual kitchen and the WWE stock ROM posted by udK.

Word of the wise. Until you find someone saying that the cube works in the WM6 version for BA (and by someone, I mean xplode helmi, etc) do not install it. I found one in this forum and I ended up re-flashing my device.
Just thought I'd share my experience
thanks!
I'll wait a bit then
What is the cube?

Basically, it is an application developed by HTC for the Elf (or HTC Touch) that allows the user to scroll through different 3D menus by using his/her finger instead of the stylus. Look at it as HTC's response to the i-phone.

Diamond CUBE?

Wondering if this will ever come into development, if its not already
If you already have the cube installed (own a HTC Touch Elf or Vogue) try this:

Are the first words, in the tread. Do you have a HTC P535 ?
Asus P535
Yes I Have a P535, and now install a greatbal HTC Diamond theme v2.1.
But I would like to have something similar to touch flo 2d.
I had installed a version of the cube that operated in my P535 and believed that there would be some version of TF2D.

The problem is not a matter of branding, but rather a matter of drivers. M2D looks for something in the touch.dll, which many devices don't have. The HTC devices that do support M2D have it because TouchFlo was successfully ported to these devices. However, there are still a few devices (HTC branded) that have not had the TouchFlo ported to them (Himalaya and Blue Angel). On top of that, there are no devices outside of HTC devices that have this TouchFlo ported. Hence, M2D does not work on non HTC devices...
I guess that a clear explanation can put this thread to sleep already...
@ edgarjmejia,
Next time, please read the threads related to what you are looking for...
edgar mmh how to say it to you, seems you are not very clever. so stop asking you got the answer. its NNNOOO !
thank you very much for the explanation egzthunder1
I was quite clear. it's hard to find complete information on thousands of responses on a thread (could make clarifications in the first post), especially for the little time we have been here at XDA.
my respect for you and thanks for your time and clarification.

You just need to change the xml for the dimensions of your screen. Some one else has it working full screen on his Omnia.

New TouchFLO 3D from Topaz/Rhodium

Does anybody know if there is a cab for the Touch HD to get the TouchFLO 3D from the Topaz/Rhodium with the calender and sound options tab etc. and landscape support? I know XBmod is making one for the Diamond/Touch Pro.
I would like to know this also
only way to get it is to flash a new ROM.
damn, I don't want to flash a new ROM. How come they can't do the same for the HD as for the Diamond and Touch Pro?

suggest asking the cooks this question. i suspect it's a lot more complicated due to tighter Manila integration with WinMo.
ahh okay, too bad I don't know any of the cooks. Well I heard of Dutty of course. I wouldn't mind flashing my phone even though I just got it. But I have a Dutch ROM and I would like to keep it that way. Or is there a way to make a WWE rom dutch? of at least TouchFLO 3D and a dutch keyboard prediction. Any chance there? And another about flashing is that I always read that there are bugs.
Lol, I just noticed this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=490844 though this is only for TouchFLO I see

Or upgrade to the official HTC Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM if you don't feel brave enough to risk a custom cooked ROM.
