Vista - Windows Experience Index and Prt Sc.

1. when i check the Windows Experience Index
it is saying 2.0 ... is it normal ?
2. what is the key combination to take screen shot (prt Sc) in the SHIFT keyboard ?

works perfect and is part of vista. no additional installation

I use the snipping tool from vista, too.
Just type snipping and answer the question.

sure.. snipping tool is perfect for print screen .. I can't help myself missing it when not being on a non-vista computer !

Maybe this will work for you! It worked for me. The stock cursor with this tool is Tux, but you can download the Vista icon here. Follow the tutorial after step 10 for changing Tux to the Vista cursor.
P.S. In the tutorial they tell you to go to Local machine but you should go to Current User.

software from this guy should do the trick, you can download wait cursor skin packs for both qvga and VGA, and there is version 3 in development, so keep checking the website.

Since many PPC users are having problems connecting their devices with Vista 32/64bit and Win 7 32/64bit versions I thought it is a good idea to deliver the new active sync version (Windows Mobile Device Center) for these OS.

[APP] Samsung Caxixi - run on other WM devices?

could someone try to run Samsung Caxixi app on any other WM device? Here's more info on it - it seems to be a nice app.

On Diamond with WM6.1 it doesn't work. Hope that the app doesn't need some kind of Samsung UI... I've noticed after installing the cab Samsung Windows Mobile SDK 1 is being installed, maybe this could be some clue.

It needs a Samsung sensor dll. So I don't think it will work unless someone can make the dll work on your device.

It's more than just the sensor.dll. I tried installing it on a TouchHD and the sensor.dll was not in the package - I think they built it into the exe so it can't be replaced. I have been able to change that file in the past and it works but not with this app. I hope someone else can figure it out. It simply crashes when run.

I've searched in the web but I can't find it!

Looks like you installed some UI tweaker meant to make your system look more like Win7. Use that tool again to undo the changes to Explorer's UI and you should be fine.

I have not used any tool, anyway... I've opened CMD (as Admin) and typed: sfc /scannow >Restart>> and now it's working well
