Deleted Settings button in Start Menu, how to restore? - Touch HD General

Hi,
I'm using Dutty's ROM V3.0 with the new WM6.1 start menu.
But I was a bit to fast with tweaking the programs menu.
I accidently removed the Settings button.
But you can't restore it, you can only add programs.
Does anybody know how I can restore the Settings button in the Start Menu.

Assume you're talking about the new program launcher and not the classic menu.
HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\ProgramLauncher\3
Command: --switchtopage Manila://settings.page
DispName: [[IDS_SETTINGSTITLE]]
IconPath: \windows\HTC\Assets\Images\programlauncher\Program_icon\settings_88.qtc
IsReadOnly:1 (Hex) (so you will not be able to delete accidentally in the future)
Path: \Windows\manila.exe

That worked, I've got the settings option back!
Thank you very much!!

how do i get to link 'all settings' on the new manila start menu rather than pointing to the settings tab ? does anyone know the exact path or a lnk file?

Thanks, all works perfectly

Missing link for phone after ROM upgrade

Hi Folks,
I have just upgraded the ROM using ROMKitchen (3.17.03 ENG O2-Euro). Now, the phone icon does not appear in the main window, tough it works when I go to Start--Phone--. Can someone please tell me how I can get this phone link back on the main menu.
Thanks a lot,
Frank
Why don´t press you the green "Phone" button? It starts the phone-application automaticly.
Or just edit the startmenu settings...
Start -> Settings -> Menus
select the phone application.

I know it's probably covered somewhere, but with so many posts on the Cube and FTouchFlo, I can't find it.... How do I get the gesture system to work on HTCAlbum after installing FTouchFlo? It's in the list of exclusions properly, but the gestures no longer work; even if I disable FTouchFlo and soft-reset my Kaiser.
Sorry guys. Is the attached file corrupted or not complete?

Will this work on square screens (240x240)
Works really well, thank you!
I installed this cab and all icons and configuration screens are there, but the gestures don't work.
When I want to start touchflo manually it's says it's already running so I'm sure the gestures don't work.
Any suggestions?
I may have to try this once the results are in....

WM5
Does this work with wm5 standard oem rom devices?
Is it the original Cube?
Is the media player interactive?
Will have efrosts touchflo installed affect it?
Thanks
It works! I followed all of the instructions in the readme file: Removed the touchflo that I already had on the device (For removing previous touchflo versions: I had my old touchflo in the start up menu in windows, and was having trouble getting rid of it since it was already running. So I cut and pasted touchflo to a different folder, soft reset, and was able to delete it so it wasn't running at start up anymore), already had HTC Home on there, installed the cab installer, went into the touchflo config file and enabled touchflo, did a soft reset, and it works perfectly.
...only thing is the "New E-Mail" and "SMS/MMS" tab seems dead, but it still works from HTC Home.
The "contact" side takes a couple of seconds to come up but thats expected. Everything else works like a charm. Easily the best one-stop .cab installer of the Touch Cube that I've tried so far.
Thanks for the post.
...sorry....I forgot:
It works fine on my AT&T 8525, WM6 offical AT&T Rom. Thanks again!
If you had FtouchFlo installed previously, make sure you delete the exe file from /Windows/Startup and leave the one from the cab installation. My cube worked after that.
ADD Device Compatibility
Works great here. I'm using a Blue Angel running xplode's latest WM6 ROM.
Thanks for the great work!

Do you have the settings folder in windows/start menu? If not, tap menu at bottom, create new folder, name the new folder "Settings", soft reset. If this don't fix it, you'll need to hard reset.

..do a hard reset..
Re-install the missing programs.
both answers are wrong.
i found the solution, just install the following cab and the start-program display is set back to standard!
does this cab do anything else but repairing the start-display? I don't want to mess up any other settings of my system which is a 1.40.162.2 (49069) GER Vodafone

Settings Menu Icon missing in start Menu of my HTC TyTn II

Hi all,
I have downloaded few tweaks & was trying those. I found that the phone is quite fast. But when I found that there is no SETTINGS menu available I was frustrated. I dunno exactly when it got deleted. How can I get it back to start menu? Can anyone let me know if any registry values to be entered to enabling it again? I believe that people here will help me out definitely. Is there any other way which from which i can restore the settings in start menu?
Thanks to you all in advance...
Waiting reply..... Please help me to get rid of this problem...
Mandar M. Oke.
Are we speaking about "cooking development" or simply you installed some tweaks in a downloaded custom rom?
Some minimum informations are required such:
_WM build
_which kind of tweaks did you make.
_a build log
Maybe u changed thé Hidesettings value to 1 instead of 0 if u use Manila ...
