Does Wizard charge its battery in BootLoader-status?! - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

this is the question..
any idea?

No. ...this is the answer.
I'm guessing you can't flash due to low charge, and can't charge due to a need to flash. If so, turn the phone OFF, remove the battery for a long ten-count, reassemble everything and leave the phone OFF. Charge on a wall charger until green light comes on. Try to flash again.

[Help] Battery Charging problem....need help.

Mine is Cingular 8125
I flashed RUU_Prodigy_1060701_101_11310_QTEK_WWE_Ship to get IPL/SPL 1.06 and Redio 1.xx (I don't quite remember it).
then I flashed WM6 roms 5.2.1921(build 18521) which does not involve IPL/SPL and Radio.
Everything seems normal.
I leave it charge for all night, I saw 100% this morning, but the it drop to 50 after half an hour, and completely died after 1 hour.
I cannot recharge it when the phone is off, all lights are off, no flashing.
of course, I cannot turn it on.
Few days ago, when I was using WM5 with IPL/SPL 2.26, I can charge the battery, and I can use the phone with GSM and Wifi on for at least one day without recharge.
Need help, thank you.

I solved me problem with an universial car charger for variable voltage.
This charger is not for this phone, but it for many other things, such as PSP, Radio, etc.
I set the voltage as 4.5V, and I use two wires to take over the electrisity from + and - to the back of my phone.(there are a + sign and - sign on the battery), I hooked on the phone's + and - brush, and use this universial charger bootup my phone, then put on the battery, the battery would be charge for a little while, and enough to do another boot.
Dont use this method to charge the battery, it may burn your phone. and dont use higher than 4.5V for first bootup.
the same problem with you.the battery seems not so stable after I flash wm6 rom
PLease help me
I have a similar problem one night i was charging my cingular 8125 then after i wake up i look my cingular and it dont turn on!!!!
I put again to charge and it make the led red and if u leave the battery the red led continue, please help me!
Same problem but solved somehow
Same thing happened to me and I somehow solved it. It is not normal for a battery to suddenly drop dead. The problem is I think the battery has 2 cells inside and sometimes one is charged and the other gets stuck uncharged when the battery is old.
What I did is:
drain down the battery fully until the phone does not turn on any more. So the two cells get ballanced at 0 charge.
Plug in the official wall charger when the phone is off.
Press the turn on button. So it charges a little while phone is off. Wait 1 minute
Press power button again to turn the phone on, and leave it on until (if at all) charges to 100%.
Just my experience maybe it will work for you too. Worth trying! Correct me if i'm wrong ... good luck

so strange, i think this is not a fault of battery, because lithium polymer battery is really long lasting, have you connect your x1 to computer, please connect your x1 to charger and wait about 1 hour. but maybe it's the fault of mini usb port, can you sync your x1 before it happen? in your case, bring it up to guarantee service is the best solution, what did you do before the device turn off?
Leave it on the charger, it could take about 15 - 20 minutes to start charging if the battery completely died.
i used a wall charger, and a computer charger, still no luck...i wasnt doing anything, i was playing a game and shut the game off started browsing through the fone, and it just shut off after a few battery low warning sounds. but the red light goes on after a wall charger, but nothing when i try to turn it on, it doesnt turn on, and when i unplug it to try to turn the phone on, the side lights flash red...i have no idea whats goin on but i got the phone today and its pissing me off already i spent 680 on the phone for a peice of crap...

ah, you should keep it in the wall chager a bit longer, and don't use the computer charge at this time, when the battery complete die, you should keep it charge about 10 minutes before you can start it, don't worry, when you can see the flash light turn red, it's charging, wait a few minutes more, it's will work, just forget about it, go somewhere, when you comeback, push the power button:d

was had same problem.just leave it charged.i leave it charged into usb drive, and it needs 5h before he turn on.battery was completely dead, like probably you have too.just leave it charged throught the night.
Charge some time and then remove battery cover and try to reset. as u mentioned lights are flashing when u r trying to switch on so just reset.
The X1 of my colleague had the same problem and he had the battery replaced by the vendor, no questions asked as it was dead after only 2 days...

Hi, I got similar problem and I called the support guys.
They advised me to remove the battery and charge the phone for 30 min and charged with the battery for 1.5 hour.
He claimed is some 'internal battery' stuffs.
Anyway I tried and it works.
In addition, I charged the battery when the level hits a minimum of 20%.
So far so good
Good luck.

That Solution worked for me as well. I was in Germany with some navigation software to find my destination address. Than suddenly my phone died, I thought. So I was stuck somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

Phone won't turn on

I let my battery die and I wasn't able to charge it for two days. Then I found my data cable but not the outlet part. I plugged it into my laptop and the red charging light came on. I charged it for ten minutes and then tried to turn on the phone. The phone wouldnt turn on. I disconnected it from the charger and the red light stayed on. So I disconnected the battery and reconnected it. Now the light won't turn on nor will it turn on itself. What is going on? and how can i fix this???

I'd said take the battery out, then put it back in. Plug into charger an leave it alone for awhile. A ten min charge isn't goin to give it enough juice. Have done any flashing?

I second this. The discharge by a computer to charge your phone is gonna make it take longer to charge up. Give it time.
Leave it plugged in overnight or while you're at work, and wait until the light turns green. Then, if it still doesn't work, get another battery. If it STILL doesn't work, you better hope you have Asurion. Sprint won't take it back if it's been rooted.
but how would they know if its rooted

[Q] Dead Battery Issue

So I thought I had turned my phone off last night because I left the charger at work but apparently it did not shut down and the battery died. I know that MAGLDR doesn't allow charging while the phone is off, does anyone know a way to get enough of a charge to get the phone to turn on so I can charge it fully?
I can charge in MAGLDR, just the orange light sticks on and will stay on until you pull the battery. Try giving it a few minutes just to get some charge in it, pull the battery, turn on and start the booting process, then plug the charger back in, works for me on NAND builds, did it last night even whilst calibrating my battery.
Ok I will plug it in and leave it for a bit, the orange light shuts off after a few seconds but we will see what happens. I was always under the impression that MAGLDR didn't charge

That's correct, magldr won't charge.
Another solution I saw a few days back said to go into Bootloader and charge from there - just tried it as an experiment and unless it charges without activating the charging light, Bootloader doesn't charge either.
When I had a similar problem I just kept booting it up into WP7, allowing it to charge for a few minutes until WP7 shut itself down again and then pulling the battery to repeat.
It took 5-10 cycles of this but eventually the phone decided it had enough battery to charge itself - seems daft to me too, but there you go.
If all else fails, search this forum - there was thread from a week or so ago where someone chopped a USB cable to charge directly to the battery terminals. A spare battery is also an option if it fits your wallet and timescales.

[Q] Huawei S7 is charging?

Hi! My tablet has no battery, so I put the charger cable and lights flash, but it does it always, lights flash, all turn off and turn on again, and all process again.
I saw somewhere on internet to plugh charger without battery, wait 3 seconds and put battery again. I did that but, when I plug charger without battery it does the same (flash lights, turn off and back to flash light, appear huawei s7 on screen and turn off again). I put battery and nothing happens (still flashing and turn off)
And I can't turn on my device :S
Fault is on the battery... totally drained, and can´t start the charging process.
If you have other battery, test it and see.
If not, find and power supply, and input around 4.3v and 2.0mA... wait for the battery to have at least 3.5 or 3.8v... then I think you can start the normal charge process in the the tablet itself.
