Requirements

- Pocket PC with Windows Mobile 5 or 6
- Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 3.5
- At least 2Mb of Ram free on QVGA

Installation

- Uninstall older version
- Extract ZIP in any folder and start iFonz.exe
How to
=============================
- If during the slide from a page to another page you look a red/pink color in the names of icons go to Windows Mobile Settings -> Screen -> ClearType and disable it
- If you use ILauncher or other launcher program consider to uninstall it for best use of iFonz
- If you wnat enter directly on the General Settings click on the link in Programs Folder "iFonz Settings"
- To open General Settings Tap and Hold on background
- To open Icon Settings Tap and Hold on desired icon
- To enable/disable Windows Startup open General Settings and check/uncheck the option
- To save/load Themes and settings Tap and Hold on Battery and click on Themes->Load/Save and choose the file
- To minimize Tap and Hold on Battery in the main screen and click on minimize
- To view all Pocket PC status info Tap and Hold on Battery in the main screen and go to Status menu
- To view AM/PM hour go to Regional Settings in your pocket pc and set correctly your Timezone and Time settings
- To exit click on battery in the main screen
- To add shortcut to a folder in the command line use "\windows\fexplore.exe" and in the argument set the folder path
- To add shortcut to a midlet java in the command line use "[the path of your java manager]" and in the argument set the parameter of your java application (Es: Command: "\windows\jmm.exe" Arguments:"-r"Gmail","Google","Gmail")
- To add shortcut to an internet address write in command line the internet address
- To Copy/Swap an icon tap and hold on 1 icon and choose Copy/Swap and after tap and hold another icon and choose Paste here/Swap here
- If iFonz close when hit the "Red Button" after a call, assign a specific button of your PPC for restart it, set it in PPC settings
- If your Pocket PC is old or slow go to General Settings and disable all Special Effects and set Animation to "Nothing"
- If you do a lot of changes in General Settings and iFonz become slow, restart it
- To go in debug mode create a file "Debuco" in the iFonz directory and use the program. In the folder i create a new text file called Logfile.txt with all operations and errors
- For lock device and show a big image of caller whe you receive a call use S2U2 program (The best ever from A_C)

- Now when pass from last page to first page don't scroll all pages but go first directly, same thing when click the D-Pad button
- If you don't use wallpaper iFonz scroll very quickly and the ClearType Windows setting problem is resolved
- Deleted Arial fonts, now use Tahoma (Windows Mobile system font)
- Reduced the size of Operator name font
- Resized correctly all labels and text
- Now work with VGA correctly and with HTC Diamond
- Created 2 set of gfx folder 1 for QVGA and 1 for VGA devices
- Scroll speed improvements when slide pages

Works great on LG-KS20, animation speed has highly improved and settings of 1.0.4 are taken over. File browser is pretty cool.

of i meant to ask before but i forgot.. is there a way to save my theme so i can load it up when i please?i know to click and hold on the battery and then goto themes , save. but what is the file extension

Excuse me for being new at this, but when I click the weather tab from my HTC Diamond it doesnt give me any weather information, do I need to download some kind of other weather application, and if so, what do you recommend?

thanx for another great update...just noticed how the bottom row of icons are pushed further down the screen covering their reflections and no longer push the icons to the corners when opening programs

I will be installing this later tonite. SInce it's a .exe file, must we use ActiveSync or just run the .exe on the fone? I am using KS20.

Hey that confused me too... So I just clicked the .exe file on the phone device, and ifonz launched as usual.
But still, that would be a major change in installation procedure. hopefully ssj5trunks will explain.

Cool, so there;s no more isntallation, eh? Just put the files in the folder and the magic application runs like a gem.
Spanish Translation BETA (recently cooked ):
My LG KS20 is running on iFonz 1.1.2 now. Whoa....... WOW!!! YAY!!!!
1) It runs at least 50% faster than the older one
2) Graphical sharpness is like 50% better (very clear!!!!)
3) The 'setting' display is sooooooooo sharp and nice now.
Brings me lotsa smiles!!!
By the way, I did not uninstalled the 1.0.4. I copied and overwritten the folders in 1.0.4 and the "iFonz" program in "Remove Programs" dissapear when I run it for the first time. Is it okay?
(reason for not deleting because worry newer version will not run, like S2U2 1.3 vs 1.22, my KS20 can't run v1.3)

I hv problem running the new S2U2 v1.30. When I wake up my KS20, my S2U2 keeps hanging. I have reverted back to v1.22 which is much more stable.
One question 4 Diamond users: Is only me or anyone more have iFonz too slow changing froms pages?
All animatyions are too slow (tf3d disabled)
It might be because you have a cooked rom.
There is a little load time when launching an app but except for that it's all good.
I have turned off the fading effects though in Ifonz settings.
It might help.
I want to try the Omnia D3d drivers as well to see if it makes any difference.
HOME page within Touchflo changed to a new one with "Today plugins" - and WORKING !!!
I was trying different settings with my HD and managed to change my Touchflo "HOME" page to a different page which can handle all the Today plugins within Touchflo.
Now I have the Touchflo and the first tab is a new tab which can handle plugins => so on my new Manila HOME page I have now Pocket Informant, SPB tasks, SPB weather and Time.... so it's like a normal Winmobile "Today page" with plugins but within Manila and at the place of the original home tab of Touchflo. The hardware "Home" button is directing to the new plugin ready homepage. So everyting works as before but my fisrt tab the HOME is much much better than is was before and I still use the Tiouchflo. The original Touchflo Home page I put at the end of the tabs - so its my last tab at the moment but it is still there if I need.
(I'm not an expert so it was result of trying and guessing and using some good programs from others here. Maybe someone more clever described this or a better method already but anyway here is how I did it...)
I have stock English ROM.
1. Installed Singh_s_Tings_HTC_TF3D_15 tabs cab (big thanks for the developer)
2. Installed Manila Today Page cab (MTP_Install_v0.3.3.0.cab) (big thanks for the developer)
=> which is really a great program to have an additional, Today plugin capaple tab within Touchflo. And the page has its own "windows" icon.
3. In Resco (or other) Registry editor => go to HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\Configuration
=> there I have "folders" numbered from 0 to 14 in my case (as I have 15 tabs in Touchflo).
"0" - is the original Touchflo HOME page (and it can be moved!!!)
"14" - (in my case - but it depends on your page order) is my MTP (Manila Today Page additional tab with plugin capacity).
The number shows/determines the order of the tabs as they will appear in Touchflo. So you can mix the tab order as you wish by re-numbering the folders containing the tab infos.
4. I simply renamed the folder numbered with "0" to 14 => this moved the original Touchflo Home page to the last place in my tab order.
5. And I simply renamed the folder "14" to "0" => and this moved my MTP plugin page to the first tab where the original Manila Home page was.
(did some false numbering in the process not to have 2 tabs with same name to be on the safe side - maybe unnecessary?)
=> Soft reset the HD
So my tab order is now:
0.MTP - with all my plugins (PI, tasks, weather, profiles etc. (works with the HOME button perfectly)
1 Communications
2 People
3 Messages
4 Mail
5 Programs
6 Calendar
7 Internet
8 Weather
9 Stock
10 Photos and Videos (Album)
11 Music
12 Sound Settings
13 Missed calls
14 Original Touchflo Home page
The New MTP HOME tab which is the starting tab now inTouchflo has a built-in softkey named "home" => when you push it it directs to the original Touchflo Home page.
The HTC home hardware button directs automatically to the first tab, which is the new MTP Home page with plugins .....
Now I have Touchflo but with a much better Home page than the original ...and can use all my today plugins for touchflo.
"Screen 12" attached => shows ManilaTodayPage at the place of HOME page
"Screen 13" attached => shows original HOME as last tab.
That's amazing, I've been using MTP for a few days now but I'm going to follow your advice to make it my homepage.
Quick question: Can you tell me what programs you are using for the shortcuts at the top and which is your calendar app?
I'm hoping somewhere to find a list of all software with Today screen plugins so I can pick and choose.

So how do you get the ManilaTodayPage program to display the tasks on the Today page? Mine won't do that, and the option to display in the MTP options is greyed out so it can't be chosen ? I'm using MTP v0.3.6.0 rather than v0.3.3.0.

so I'm using the following today plugins within MTP
starting from the top:
1. SPB "Pocket Plus"
The 6 colored icons are expanding for grouping other programs to start
so under each icon there are lot of possibilities to start applications, files, setting etc. When not pushed they shrink to this state back.
2. Inesoft Today plugin (from Inesoft Phone 4) => its a profiler for ringtones + switching on/off bluetooth wifi, ringtone, backlight setting
(its not a standalone prog but part of the Phone4)
3. SPB Time (world clocks)
4. SPB weather (expanding further to show more data)
5. SPB Diary (you can customize it to show appointments, task, mail, birthdays, notes etc )
I use Pocket Informant as PIm manager ( SPB Diary takes the info from PI)
What I really like that from any page I can jump back to this stating home page with the HOME hardware buttons.

I installed the 15 tabs program and MTP, and its working on my HD except for the fact that in my registry I do not see in the configuration 14 folders but only 10. So I'm not able to rename folder 14 to 0, etc. Any help - suggestions on how to (re)arrange that.

I have only folder called 6 there. Renamed it to 0, rebooted. Nothing happened

Where did you get this?? Google search only brings up THIS thread!
I Installed Resco File explorer and when trying to add registry add in it tried to install a theme file (.tsk) which opened the today management screen (where you can select different themes and select whats on the desktop.
Click the desktop tab (whats displayed on homescreen) and deselect HTC Sense then just tick what you want. At the top is the default windows mobile 6.5 homescreen plugin then all the program addons follow like co-pilot, mail, calendar etc then htc sense. Just choose your flavor..
I'm working at the moment but I'll try and elaborate more later, need to find a screenshot app first for pics.
Put any .tsk file on phone and run from explorer (Resco or otherwise) and the theme screen will show, select your pref (note you can not have HTC SENSE, Windows 6.5 Plugin enabled together, but plugins like calendar etc can without the aforementioned.
Hope this helps someone. (All HTC themed menu's n progs get disabled on deselecting HTC Sense but return on reselecting).

Or... click on Start/Settings/Menu/All Settings/Today/Items to access the menu you are talking about.

I am needing to customise a few things on our new HD2's automatically.
I've created a cab file that successfully deletes a bunch of unwanted shortcuts & make some changed to the IE favourites.
However, I want to disable HTCSense & also set a default background/wallpaper via a cab file, but I'm having trouble with this.
I've managed to semi do it via registry entries in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\
It appears to have disabled HTCSense & enabled the Windows Default 'today' screen. But I still get HTC Calander, Music, Footprints & Peep icons in the start menu, however they do not function. There are no .lnk files to delete to get rid of these...
And for the background, the registry entry is there & under settings\today it shows as being selected, but the wallpaper is not actually applying.

So... Found the issue with the background/wallpaper... It doesn't actually use that registry key to select the wallpaper, its just for display on the Today settings page... grr...
Copied the relevant files to \windows\stwater_480_800.png & stwater_800_480.png & rebooted.
So now I'm left with getting rid of the HTC shortcuts...
Also, is there a way to force a reboot after installing the CAB file?

i use a wm6.5 touch pro2 without manila and active windows default in today settings, i think it's such a cool theme, but there isn't a link about windows default tasks, which i can use it without "windows default"(maybe it's called chome?). is there any way to add it? i use cht editor, i know i can add a button to windows task, but there isn't any information can be displayed.

Look for CHome Editor, it has many functions, and the author made a weather plugin too
