Help please! Audio drops dead in receiver end - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 General

Hi,
My O2 mini was working without mush issues for past four years, but recently it has developed sort of wierd problem. While i am on a call, audio at the other end (receiver side) can be heard for first few seconds and all of the sudden the audio drops dead.. it stays like that for 5 to 10 seconds, then picks up and returns back to normal.. the cycle keeps continuing with 10 to 20 seconds audio and 5 to 10 seconds of no audio.. i can hear the person talking on the other end without any problems.. does anyone else have experienced such problem before and were able to fix it?
Please help me to fix this issue.. i like this mobile and don't want to dump it...
thanks,
Bala.

Everyday's error picking up a call!!! PLEASE NEED HELP!

80 % times when I receive a call, I keep asking who it is for about 15 seconds until I hear the voice or the people hear me... The only extra thing I did is unlocking it. After some hard resets It keeps ocurring. I have to sim cards with the same number but I tried both of them. With my siemens phone it does not happen... Please help me
I have the same problem with my IMATE... answering calls .. it takes somewhere between 5-30 seconds for the call to 'drop in' as in the phone stops ringing on my end and the person calling me end... but its jsut silence for anywhere up to 30 seconds, sometimes more!
Any ideas? I'm currently looking through the forums for an answer...
I find a soft reboot helps it a little....
Same problem
I have exactly the same problem...
It takes anything from 2 to 30 seconds to answer the call, by which time the person on the other side usually disconnects anyway.
I have some suspicion it may be related to the Pocket Bluetooth Tools.
Same here
I experience the same problem with both incoming and outgoing calls although not always.
I did not unlock my phone, but do have BT tools installed. I do not hear anything for about 5 - 15 sec. and the person on the other end doesn't hear anything too.
It's not a big problem, but should not be there either!
QTEK 2020
ROM 1.72.00WWE
Radio 1.14.00
ExtRom: 1.72.126
i thought this would of been a bigger more common problem.
the only thing i have running is the pocket bluetooth tools, otherwise its just standard. no hacks etc...

Phone reboots after 10 minutes

Hi,
My phone has developed this problem where it soft-reset's after being on a phone call for about 10 minutes.
Odd thing is, it only happens if i'm not using my BT headset or wired headset.
Anyone else had this?
Thanks,
Craig.

why does my magician (s100) disconnects all calls after 6 minutes?

i've got a qtek s100, and for some strange reason it automatically disconnects any phone call that lasts longer then 6 minutes. although it is a nice cost efficiency tool, i've only got 6 minutes to end a call!!! so, anyone had the same problem en solved it? i've got the latest qtek rom and i didn't install the extended rom (hit the reset switch after screen calibration).
hi, i noticed when i made a call for more than 2 hours, the phone was disconnected at 1.59.59
i guess that's a safety something against getting high bills..
but 6 minutes is very short.
ask your provider.
i'm not quite sure whether this is a provider setting, because when i use this simcard in another gsm (a regularl one though), i can make calls as long as i want (and receive them as long as i want)...
futhermore, when my 'time' is almost up as to put it that way, then my backlight comes on (like some sort of signal) and it disconnects....??
but, i'll go ask my provider, maybe they know something more...
with kind regards,
dennis
How old is your battery?
an update:
since my front speaker is broken, i'm using a headset. i'm using the headset supplied with my old motorola (they have the same connector). this one disconnects a call around 6 minutes. i also tried another headset, this one disconnects immediately after picking up a call or after about 2 minutes.
when i am using the speakerphone, i can make at least calls of 8 minutes (then i disconnected it myself). with the original headset, same... i disconnected after 8 minutes, believing that this worked
so can someone confirm that only specific headsets actually work with this phone (since there is a talk and volume function in the cord of the headset). maybe this talk function generates a problem with other types of headsets? i assume that the cord itself must send a signal through the cord to the phone when i push the talk button (to pick up a call), assuming that the talk button probably cab also end a call, this could be the problem when using a different than the original headset. the phone appears to be working correct, because when i use the speakerphone function it does not disconnect. any comments are appreciated.
does anyone found problems with any bleutooth headsets?
btw. battery is oke, holds a charge acceptably
I had the same prob (altough mine simply disactivated the onboard mic at about 5 mins) I solved the prob by keeping the s100 from stand by. But I dunno if it can be your case...
I just wanted to mention that I have the same problem. After +/- 5 min. the phone call disconnects.
I'm using cable in ear headphones.
HI i have the same problem. i dont how many minutes i can talk but after acouple of minutes my mic will shut off i can hear thew other persons but they can't hear me. I hve no also tried to disable the power sver when unused (what i do not understand because i use the phone). Hopefully this will help but then i have the problem that the s100 will not switch off which is also not OK. Needs to much batterie.
Is there something in the registry that the phone sees that it is used even when i dont press any button only talk?

Gene hangs..

Hi guys
Been facing a problem for the past 2 weeks..
I usually listen to music using Audio Manager.
After starting it, i use a software called Screen Switch to switch off teh screen, yet keep Audio Manager running/playing.
This combination was working fine till recently.
Now, after say 5-6 minutes of listening to music, my HTC hangs and theres no music output. if i just let it be, the Gene restarts.
If i press the volume buttons and the on/off switch, 5 minutes later it comes back to life.
Someone please help me!!!

SM-G901F random touch screen response

Hi,
My wife has a Samsung Galaxy S 5 for a couple of months now. Lately it's been acting strange. I don't know how to explain it properly but here goes. The phone randomly opens apps (you here the click/pop sound). When this starts, it gets worse real quick. The phone gets really laggy and slow, while hearing the sound constantly...sometimes like 50 times repeatedly with no pause. As if you were to hold down a physical keyboard button. Even when I can turn off the display, I still hear the sound. Only when I let the phone flip out and when the sound finally stops, I can resume using the phone. That is until it starts again. Even the interval of when this happens is random.
Can someone help me? I think it's a hardware problem (touchscreen). But I'm no expert.
Phone is a SM-G901F running Android 5.0.2
