A preview of the phone replacement app that I have been working on for 2+ years.
FAQ (Questions posted on my site)
1. Does it support 240x240
Nope. Most 240x240 have a keyboard and most importantly, there isn't much space left for such an interface. That's why candy bars are rectangular, not square.
2. What are the requirements?
NautilusVX runs on WM2003SE and WM5. Given all the fading/alphatransparency (even on WM2003SE!!), memory consumption works to a hefty 18mb of RAM. There will be a lite version available without all the frills.
3. Will you be able to make a version that looks exactly like the iPhone?
Nope. Even the iPhone in itself is not perfect. NautilusVX strives to combine what the author thinks is the most practical from all phones while maintaining a good level of style.
4. Will NautilusVX be able to place and receive calls?
Yes. Absolutely, definitely.

all skins, graphics, ringtones, smstones are customizable,
but layout is not.

it runs on my asus p535 and o2 mini so far.
more videos and torrents of actual video files will be released shortly

tell me what you wanna see... maybe that will convince you it's real.

Let me only see how to edit a contact and how to put a call without stylus, and I will use my Touch for (almost) any test you like !!!

Hmm.. just to understand, is *editing* a contact important?
Or do you just need to create?
I was thinking of putting off editing for now, but if you can give me a good reason why you need to edit your contacts so often, I will reprioritize..

Editing is important coz not every time people are free to fully fillup the contact so it is required.

Ok, fair enough...
But how about this, when you are trying to fully fillup the contact, then you are probably free.
And I guess you should be free enough to take out the stylus..
This is the reason why editing a contact was originally put off for a later date.
Creating a contact is a different story though.. especially when you are getting a number from a girl hehe

Just came across this in one of my RSS feeds - an interesting 'new' UI for WM6, being released for free tomorrow according to their website.

This is "just" a frontend/launcher, so everything will work as usual.
I wonder if there will be something like "S2U" or something else... i LOVE this feature.

well, clock reached zero, but only the text "pointui.com" appeared. When visited the site, nothing happened, so, i'm guessing the clock has to reach zero in whichever time zone 'they' are....
Will just have to keep waiting until that happens, i.e. keep checking the website

Would like a black skin, but these guys have done an awesome job. Interface is realy smooth and simple to use.
Good to see the Aussie blokes making it a New Years day present for us.

Can this be done with a Diamond?

I'm not sure yet. I just started playing around with it a few days ago in my spare time. I'll probably post a beta within a couple weeks, or maybe tomorrow, who knows.

WOW...this may save me another grand (by not getting the HD) if you can get that running. I like the appearance and format, as well as the research options.

Right now, just using http://wireless.etrade.com. Not as fast, and interested in getting it into a tab in TF3D (see there is manila files from the HD already on this site, so may get my wish). I like the format of this one much better, so may run both (depending on final product, and visibility of all the markets).

This matches my theme much better, so you are my favorite person today as well. I will run both yours, and the TF3D tab from the HD. I like your format much better. The HD tab will give me quick glance, but your tab will help me make decisions wirelessly before I buy/sell on my E*Trade account.

Alas, I can not install it because my diamond refuses to install Net CF 3.5.
I get an errormessage about freeing space (lots of space left) and about a "errormessage" 2
Can somebody please help?

One day my brother, his friend and I pulled a prank call using someone elses number and using a woman's voice. You could also record the conversation as well. Would there be a program similar to this? It would be very helpful if it could be like it along with some extra voices maybe? I saw a topic in the Kaiser forum but it is from February of last year so maybe there are some new things until now. Thanks

Same here.
The UI has potential, but it'll need a lot of improvement (and increased customizability!) to be more useful than TF3D.
I do like how it's much more lightweight.
