Sprint Touch Pro Replacement Case?? - Touch Pro, Fuze Accessories

I dropped my phone and scratched the silver part of the case and was wondering if anyone knew of a place i could purchase a replacement case.. It landed face down and the screen protector saved the screen so I was lucky.

Sorry, don't know, but I will suggest zagg.com. I've been using their Invisible Shield with my Touch Pro and I've been happy with it.

thx just ordered mine as well
what exactly does the 'full body coverage' actually cover? just front n back? how well does it cover the sides n outer corners?
I ordered the screen only coverage from them for the Touch Pro GSM version.
Just received yesterday, but I found out that the screen protector wraps around to the side/outside edge of the phone which i think will cause some problems because there is a small gap between the screen and the side egde.
So i just cut out the "wrap-around" part of the protector so that it will only cover the screen. I will apply it later today to see how my cutting skills work out.
i don't know if it'll be the same for the fuze protector (I assume they will just use the same one from Touch Pro, just without the front camera hole). But if they will make the protector just protecting the screen, then I am in for another one.
I ordered a Touch Pro GSM screen protector (as the one for the Fuze wasn't out then). It has the sides, like the person above said. I tried it out anyway, and it just doesn't stick down. I already contacted Zagg about it, as you'd expect it to stick, but it just won't. The big difference is the PTT and the camera spot not being on the front.
If one of you get the Fuze one in, let me know if it has the side thing too.

Scratches on the screen?

I'm trying to see if I should use a screen protector. Can you all report back and tell me if you have scratches on your screen? Also, did you use a screen protector?
I will use the device with my finger only, no stylus. So i'm thinking of passing on the screen protector (since it damages the screen sensitivity and just not adds to the looks of the device).
What do you say?
guess it depend on how you otherwise handle the device as in keep it in a pocket
with keys or a lid cigar
I got an x1 and usualy have it in my pocket alone and don't use a protector
use it mainly with fingers but with stylus once in awhile too
The screen is 'scratch resistant' so it does ok in daily use. Mind you that it is not 'scratch proof.' I used my HD without any protector for the first 2 months and had not one scratch. I was bout to throw away the protector (was just lying on my desk since i bought the HD) when I layed it down on the HD to see how it looked. It went on perfectly in that one 'try' so I just decided to keep it on. No scratches on screen so far.
Hello i got my phone through orange uk, it had a screen protector on it when i opened box but had writing on it so took it off! have had phone for 2 mths now and it has tiny scratch (from stylus)! brought screen protector from carphone warehouse and put it on fine! BUT the damn thing you get with it to remove bubbles scratched it to F .....pieces!!!!!!
Paul.
I got a tiny scratch after accidentally putting the phone in my pocket with my keys, it's slowly kind of rubbing away though, definitely less noticeable than it was.

The screen protector with writing on is only an "in-transport" protector. It is meant to be removed when you take the phone out of the box and start setting up.
The Orange UK Touch HD comes with a screen protector in the box of which I mucked up the installation of with my phone.
Oh! well i didnt get one in my box?? only the "transit" one.
Thanks
Paul.
Based on the cost to replace a scratched screen - i would advise you fit one. If fitted correctly, you can not really notice them.
If you scratch the screen, you would need to replace the front bezel, digitiser and LCD panel as they can not be separated - ie it is one assembled unit.
Elcs......thanks! just checked my box that phone came in and what did i find.....the screen protector! (what a w....wally) !

I have went a week without using a screen protector and I am just fed up with the smudges on the screen and I am going to just buy the Invisible shield and hopefully have it by the weekend. They are amazing products.

how long has the phone been with you? so it has no scratches and you dont use a pouch? im using a screen protector but im quite getting fed up with these things.
check this out if you wanna see how durable the screen is ..... I am just getting fed up with the smudges and want something besides a silicone sleeve for grip.

the glass screen is durable enough. i don't think you need a screen protector. you will probably break it before you scratch it.
Had the HTC rep come in my store today. He saw i had a screen protector and laughed. He was like you should know better man you dont need a screen protector. He grabbed my store keys and began to grind them on his screen with a fair amount of pressure and not one scratch i was impressed.

seriously? yeah i also sent them an email regarding why it has no screen protector, this is my 4th htc and all of them came with a screen protector except this one being their flagship phone and huge screen. they did say it is scratch resistant and no screen protector is included and needed.

Screen glass

Does anybody know what type of glass the Slide uses...
It doesn't seem to be the same scratch proof glass we saw on the Nexus One if that's what you were wondering. Mine already has a few tiny marks. Get a screen protector if you are the type of person that likes to keep the screen mint.
Thats what I was afraid of, Does any one know of any good screen protectors..
I guess Static would be better.... I'm just stuck using the stock plastic thing until I can find a good protector and it looks bad right now...
I purchased my slide at the retail store and picked up a 2 pack of screen protectors for $15. Not cheap, but they are good quality and fit the screen perfect.
I'd say try the Zagg Invisible Shield it covers the whole entire phone. its pretty awesome.

i like ghostarmour screen protectors and body shields, the screen protector is $15 but you get a liftime warranty on it and it feels nice under the finger. i have one on my mytouch 3g and absolutely love it. full body shield is $35 i think and if you have to warranty the phone, just take material off phone and take new phone back to them and they will replace with new protectors for free
I have the invisable shield by zagg my job is actually right around the corner from them I get free shields and stuff because my work has been suppying materials for their new store,It is a good cover for your phone lifetime warraty and all no questions asked replacements. Thats my 2 cents for what it worth.
I had an Invisible Shield on my G1. Amazing screen protector, crappy body protection. It collected grime all over and got pretty disgusting. The screen protectors T-Mo sells for $10x2 are quite nice.
Thanks guys.
I'll probably go with one of those protectors.
when I bought my slide at radio shack in order to get the phone for the 100 bucks I had to buy an accessory. Anyway $7 for a 5 pack of screen protectors..
Sent from my T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide using XDA App
What about..
The actual dust under the screen like this topic is meant for though? I have a full body Zagg shield on MT3GS and still I found dust under my screen today. It is on the bottom right corner of the glass and have no idea how it got there! Better enough I absolutely have had no luck with finding cases or anything for my phone. Anyways if I find dust under my screen again I will NOT be keeping this phone. T-Mobile went real cheap on this design.

Help on case / screen protectors!

Hey all, hope your day is going well.
(sorry for no links, XDA doesnt allow it)
I have bought my S8, I also have bought 2 cases and a screen protector....
The case i am CURRENTLY using Ottobox's Commuter series.
The second case i have is Spigen's slim fit case.
Now... Here is my question and problem, i know nothing much about protection and it seems i can only use a tempered glass protector on the Spigen one... As the Ottobox case doesnt allow it to fit.
Should I use the Spigen Case + Glass together? Or would it be better just to go without the tempered glass and use the Ottobox one.
OR should I get the RhinoShield? Just purchase the back and front tempered glass they provide.
Hey mate, here is my honest opinion.
I bought a Poetic slim case for my S8 and I couldn't be happier. It actually protects the edges cuz of the frame being a bit high. However, I bought a glass screen protector and unfortunately didn't sit flat on the screen. I had to press on hard to get it to work. I ended up taking the screen protector off and let be without it. Now, I'm telling you this because you might face the same issue with screen protector. Somehow these screen protectors aren't quite 100% designed to fit perfectly for these new devices. If I were you I would stick with something that will provide the best protection for you device. I will eventually buy a more rugged case for it, but for now this case it's more than enough. You said you bought a screen protector for the front and back? Let me know how the front glass works for you. If it works fine and it fits properly I might buy one too.
Protect your device mate and take care of it. ? cheers.
