I have some questions for the experts...
What type of memory card is better to use with a magician: SD or miniSD?
Is different if I have 10A or 10B?
I've read in other thread that for using 2gb is needed to mod hardware: also if I use mini sd with adapter? The problem is only the thickness of the card?
What brand? I haven't found a page about compatibility.
There is really differences among memory declared speeds?

Never heard about a hardwaremodification for SD. I'm using a 4 GB no-name SD without troubles. Before I used a 1 GB Sandisk mini SD with adapter. It's the same thickness, no problems.
Best would be to go to a dealer where you can try them out to see if it works, or to order at A*a*on some different types and send back the ones which do not work.
AFAIK there's no compatibility list available as it's depending on your Magician if it works or not and you'll find loads of info with the search function about this topic.

I have an O2 xda-mini.
I wish to buy a 2gb (or more) mini-sd card with adapter, but htc tells that the maximum expandibility for ppc using win 2003 is 1gb.

I have found a driver that supports sdhc cards on an Eten phone.
Do you guy's think this could also work on the artemis??
I have installed the driver on my mda compact 3 and nothing went wrong.
I can still read my 1gb microsd card.
My probleem is that i don’t have a sdhc card to test this driver?
Can somebody test this for us?

Hi,
I have a UK Orange SPV MV700 phone. The ROM is the original factory one of 1.23.61.5. The GPS is working and is running WM5 with no problems so far. i would like to get a 4gb SD mini card for it. Can someone tell me if the new SDHC 4gb cards will work with this ROM version? I do not want to upgrade the ROM is possible. Is there a patch which will make these cards work?

For those of you who don't want to upgrade your Trinity to WM6 due to warranty issues i'll upload some patch guys from HTC Romania have just given and applied to me. So far I'm using an Kingston 4GB SDHC class4 without any problems.

Hi. I've recently got a Trinity branded as Orange M700. Running WM5 with messaging and security feature pack. OS 5.1.342 (build 15096.3.0.0).
I've put a micro SDHC 4gb card in using a mini SD adapter. It works fine, didn't need to apply the sdhc.cab

I'm using the same memory card and I've the disconnect problem too. What ROM have you installed?

Sory, been away of my PC for some time so I couldn't check this forum
My ROM is 1.23.405.2
Actually I'm not sure about this SDHC patch. When I decided to get a 4gb card I searched trough the foums here and it looked the only way to get one working was to upgrade to WM6. When I contacted HTC Romania they told me it was not necessary to upgrade but to aply SDHC patch.
I noticed that when I had SDHC patch installed my iGo2006+ was not working anymore. All I did was to remove SDHC patch and iGo was up & running again and my SDHC was working fine.
I haven't checked whether SDHC cards work on WM5 but I will let you know as soon as I hard reset my Trinity (hopefully not very soon ).
I've been an happy user of the russian port of Windows Mobile 6.1 to my HP 614c.
Now today i've bought an MicroSD 8GB from SanDisk (SDHC) and i can't get my hp to recognize it...
What am i doing wrong?
the HP 614C is not a SDHC device. I made the same mistake
On my 614c with Russian WM61 v1.4 I do use SanDisk 8GB SDHC card without any problems.
I also heard from different forums people has also similar problem as yours with different types of cards - I don't know what is the reason, but according to user manual 614c is SDHC capable.

i am using a sandisk 8gb SDHC card on my HP612 without any problems.
I've found out that it doesn't matter what i use...
It doesn't works with WM 6.0 and either with 6.1 from Yevg001...
Pretty lame...

same though i dont get USB2 speeds
the uk version is NOT sdhc compatible... (which i own...)
the belgium (nl) version IS sdhc compatible...

Try with a Kingston 8Gb sdhc

The original 614c UK (from PDAshop) IS compatible with SDHC... I've got a 4 GB SanDisk in it.

I ditched all of my Kingstons cos they didn't work in the 614c

First I try to install SDHC cab (My ipaq 614c does not recognize the SanDisk 8GB micro SDHC class 4 card) and then there was problem with wifi and ipaq 614c cannot start up, so I have to do a hard reset.
Now I bought a new Kingston 8GB micro SDHC class 4 and it works perfect....

my uk version is full sdhc compatible . I using 8gb sdhc card on my uk version 614c
I use a 16 Gb microSDHC on 614c and it works well most of time.
The only isue I have is sometimes, when the device softreset it self, it doesn't recognize the card à the wake-up. the only way I discovered to make it recognize the card again is to take out the batterry then soft reset again.
I have no idea why it doesn't work with a "normal" softresest but that how it works with mine.

So i download "SDHC 8GB TESTED DRIVER FOR MIO 350-550" and the phone stuck at the green screen of windows mobile 6.1.
Is there any help about this issue? or have to format again the device?
My 614c works with 16 gb sandisk card (SDSDQ-016G-E11M)
ROM upgrade from Yevg001 20270_rev1.2fix_standart
PS There was 2 times when the card doesn't recognized.
First I made the clean boot, second I had to reinsert this card
Also the speed is awesome

my 614c works fine with KINGSTON 8GB SDHC...

the phone stuck because of wifi problem. so you have to do a hard reset or reflash device..
Yesterday I changed ROM to 21815 Beta 12 Black Diamond Edition by Aavatar.
After that my phone also works with the card.
