Share Bluetooth Network Connection - Networking

I've stumbled over a problem. After Sharing my phones internet access through bluetooth to my laptop (Vista), I've noticed it isn't possible to share the PAN, Why is this so?
Has anyone been able to do this successfully?
If its still unclear as to what i was trying to do... What i want to be able to do is share my phones internet (after already sharing it to my laptop over bluetooth), then sharing it from my laptop (Over Wi-Fi, or Ethernet).
Who knows how to do this? And why is the sharing tab not available on the Bluetooth Network Connection?

bump >_> this is relatively important

Using wifi to send my laptop internet

u would have to set up and Ad-Hoc connection between your wizard and laptop and set internet connection sharing over that connection.
is it possible to enable ICS on WM5? i looked through the options and i culod not see it. are there any programs out there that do it?

sharing internet access... posible!!!!???

this may sound crazy..
when i conect my htc621 to my PC.. it gets internet access.. so i just wanna know if theres any way my htc can share the internet access via Bluetooth to other devices..
such a nokia N-gage, a 3250 and a Palm Lifedrive..
the thing i want is that my htc becoming some kind of router (dunno the language) ..
this is possible??? and what soft do i need ...
Short answer, yes.
Long answer, probably not.
Theres two ways that I know of accomplishing this:
1: Both devices must support Bluetooth PAN (Personal Area Networking) profile, then the built in Internet Sharing application can share your internet connection with another device, I use this regularly when travelling with my laptop. Concievably it could be used to share the connection with any other Bluetoon enabled device that supports the PAN profile.
2: I spotted an application recently that claimed to allow the handheld device to be used as a wifi router. I had only very minimal success when I tried it our, as I recall it presents itself as an Ad-Hoc Network, then routes all the traffic out to the internet via the GPRS/3G connection. A good proof of concept, but for me of limited value. This will require the device you want to connect to the internet to have WiFi capability.
I hope this is useful, but I realise now after writing all this that your question doesnt specifically describe the connectivity you want to achieve.
Cheers!

Connecting other device to laptop connected to ATT Tilt via bluetooth

I want to be able to connect devices on my laptop using the ethernet port sharing the bluetooth connection I have established with my ATT Tilt. I can't seem to find a way to share that connection. Anybody knows if its possible?
A software NAT solution such as Wingate may do the trick.

[Q] Internet Connection Sharing from smartphone to router

Hi,
I'm going to move to a location where no reasonable internet connection is available... but 3G seems to work.
I'm now looking for a mehtod to use my old Artemis as an UMTS modem which shares it's connection with my Linksys WRT610n router.
I already searched the net but couldn't find a good solution (except for using the artemis as a wifi router and letting my real router repeat this signal).
Does anyone happen to know a solution which makes this possible via USB?
Or, as an alternative solution, does anyone know a tiny, "green" and cheap computer which could be used to forward the connection from the Artemis to the router?
Any help is highly appreciated.
