Long story but...
I have a wizard (for tinkering), a Kaiser (for day to day use) and the ameo for on the go media etc.
I don't really use the ameo that often and it therefore spends quite a lot of its time in my bedside drawer.
Anyway i had the misfortune of losing it on the way to work a week or so ago and have received the new one as a replacement.
Thought i'd take the opportunity to recoup some money (and maybe buy a meizu)

Thats odd, I've been searching Ebay for 4 weeks now. Thought I had every athena/advantage/ameo/x7500/u1000 in my watch list but for some reason I didn't have that one.
Anyway I just won one 2hrs ago for £300 so looks like your auctions going well.

went pretty good in the end. got 360 english.

Man I've been looking for one of those for a while. It's either that or the Shift for me right now.

you did well there. the value of ameo/athenas is plummeting so if you're not using one now's the time to sell. luckily there are still some wallies setting 500 quid buy it nows on ebay so by power of contrast its helping us more grounded individuals get a better price.

The ones on there for £400 buy it now just don't seem to sell

It's probably because there's better stuff out there for less now. It's not as high tech as it was at the start of last year which was the one and only reason for having it.
I wouldn't pay 400 quid for any pocket pc nowadays as it seems that no matter how powerful a new device might be will never get over the barrier of being a windows mobile device. i like my internet and windows mobile just doesnt cut the mustard these days, so im not as taken to the platform as once i was.

For Sale: X7501 Advantage

I am a college student in Dallas, Texas that is currently trying to sell my X7501. It has served me well through class lectures and the "occasional" internet browsing. It saved me numerous times navigating through inner city streets when my old phone died too. Sad to say, it is now time for me to let it go and let someone else enjoy it.
This comes with all the original box, literature, and cables. I will also include a 2 Gb microSD with the miniSD converter and will put it in the unit.
I have only owned this for a couple of months and am the original buyer. As for the price, I will say $725 shipped in the US. Payment via paypal.

Yes, I took a look at ebay before I posted. I do know that the X7510 is out, but it is just a refresh or this, same hardware, different harddrive, and a conference cam in front. I'm open for offers.

OK, we know the 7510 is out - but can you provide links to ones on ebay going for that price -I might buy one myself!

Forgot to mention
I already have ap4 installed and working flawlessly for those that don't want to mess with that aspect of it. Other included softwares are tomtom6 and a sketching program. Oh yes! I've even thrown in that 2GB MiniSD ( well more like a microSD converted to miniSD)
Come on now, give some offers to this poor college student.
(Please don't tell me that I made myself poor by buying this machine in the first place...at full price)

I just happily paid $700 AU for a 7500 (used). These things have kept their value well and you really can't touch one on fleabay for under $600US.

Comes with UK power adapter + international converter socket, phone, miniusb-usb cable, 2gb SD card inside, has always been used with a screen protector, a spare one is included (you might like to put a fresh one on, since i got a piece of dust trapped under the current one Also comes with the default handsfree headset. Naturally it's unlocked.

Love mine. Can't always find my keyboard, and the housing on mine is a lot, lot worse than yours. I'm also having doubts about my mini usb connection - seems that I plug it in too much. Housing by itself was running US$180 in July, but it looks as if the guy has run out of them: I can't find any now.
I live in the US, and I just checked exchange rates, so it comes out to about US$360, today.

Ebay man. I just sold mine also (I to bought an iphone, need that 3G, bunch of apps and awsome touchscreen) It just sold today on ebay for $700. Not bad for a used HD.

Changing to Iphone? thats baaaad. three of my friends bought iphone, 2 got rid of it under 14days for free return and bought htc tytn2 and Diamond. Third one didnt because he paid so high price that he has to stay with it.

edit: remember, if you read apple forums never believe what they say. I would give you URL but it is in Finnish so useless. Funny to read those apple people: "My keyboard is badly made, battery doesnt work good anymore, bad screen, but other than that I like it. it is good for me."

ive used an iphone before.. ive never had a problem with it.. its so much better now with all the apps. tons of people have it.. theirs no issue. their are problems with all the phones.
no phone is perfect and not every phone is perfect for everyone.

hey man goodluck with your sales. I'm starting to think if I should let my go too. I miss functional keys for text and is currently thinking about saving for the n97. Same size screen plus a keyboard. Hard decision to make. Also thought about the X1 as well. You stuck on getting the iphone 3g for sure? Why not consider unlocked phones with the US 3G band, that way you can get 3G data for less.

Guys the thing is I can't use any of those carriers since I live in Cuba. That's why I look for them in sites like Swappa or eBay. I just want it, unlock it, and then use it here.
Saddly Motomaker isn't for unlocked devices... or not?
Any other option?

I don't think they are unlocked... but thanks to you I digged into that, designed my own Moto X and then, at the end, I selected T-Mobile... just to see the great surprise of "No Contract". That's awesome man. I'll pay for it and if it's locked, I'll just pay for a simunlock code and that's it.
I hope this serves as a good info for those like me who can't use those carriers and wish to design their Moto X
