Hi guys. My power button is smashed, broken, caput. Is there a program i can use to hard reset the device?

I have been trying to search for a Extended ROM unlocker for the Magician (O2 Mini) and was thinking of an idea. Is there a way program wise to prevent the Magician from HARD reset via the normal way? That means that if they press the normal buttons, the device will never hard reset. This will enable security programs to remain in effect when device gets stolen.
So how to hard reset? Install some free hard reset program in the system.
Of course if the O2 mini goes into a loop of soft resets or start up errors, you are dead...
The only thing I know that remotely gets near this is a program in the development section.

I've searched the thread but can't seem to find anyone with a similer problem.
all of suuden I can no longer do soft reset by stylus the button seems to be working it's not stuck or loose but no soft reset, the only way I can do soft reset is by means of software i.e SPB mobile shell etc.. but this way I can't do hard reset if the soft reset doesnt work by stylus!
I'm assuming it's hardware problem because I've flashed my phone twice just to make sure it's not a ROM issue. Now before I disect my device just see if there is a contact problem where the reset button is placed inside, has anyone come across this issue?
Have not seen this reported previously could be a simple re-solder job?

My GF's phone has a strange fault. After windows crashed she plugged it into the charger and the hard reset screen came up saying this will erase all your personal data etc.
No matter what I do I cannot get rid of this screen. Pressing enter does not complete the hard reset and attempting a hard reset has no effect. Soft reset has no effect either.
The phone has the official HTC wm6.1 update on it but i cannot get it to display exactly what rom's it has unfortunatley.
Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?
can anybody tell me what should i do when this happen. after soft reset or hard reset, the smart mobility appear but after few seconds the phone will restart all over again and yet screen got blank. What went wrong..Can anybody plss help...Been 3 days looking for whats the problem...but hmmmmmm........

Did u try manual hard reset?
